Super friendly service. The chicken was fresh and crispy. I recommend this place!!!…read more I'm coming back for lunch tomorrow.

Don't yuck on another's yum. This is my general motto when…read moreit comes to fast food restaurants. When it comes to fast food you should expect only a few things. Fast. Food. Relatively inexpensive and Consistency. For that last one-a whopper in Wisconsin should taste the same as a whopper in New Hampshire. Right? And generally it does. There are fast food chains I seek out when on the road and those I avoid at all costs. But I can honestly say I've eaten Popeyes no more than twice ever until today. I drive by, realized I hadn't eaten today and stopped in. It was spotlessly clean. Either by effort or new construction. No idea. But really clean. But then I stood at the counter to place my order for 3-4 minutes. No. There wasn't a line. The whole place was empty. And one team member was cleaning the dining area in full view of this waiting customer. Just. No. Service. Ooooo kkkkkk. Placed my order. 3 pc tenders with the spiciest sauce they offer (apparently buffalo) and coleslaw. Fine. Food arrives and I sit down. Now. Before dipping things into sauces it's worth trying alone. So I did. As a national chain I am sure that this franchise owner is in fact serving CHICKEN. And yes. I know the adage "everything tastes like chicken" (when it comes to weird meats). But. What do you do when CHICKEN doesn't taste like CHICKEN? Because this certainly did not. What did it taste like? Absolutely-frickin-lutely NOTHING. It tasted like air. It tasted like flavorless water. It tasted like-and I visually inspected it to make sure this wasn't actually true-Amazon shipping packing peanuts. This is exactly what their tenders taste like. Go ahead. On your next delivery just bite into one and it is exactly what this location's tenders taste like. Absolutely nothing. I used what was left of my buffalo sauce packet to try to dress up the coleslaw but to no avail which had the same complete lack of any flavor. It was all so tasteless, room temperature and worthless I kept asking myself "is this actually food?" I mean technically it is food-I think-but I could have just ordered wing sauce on Amazon for same day delivery and saved myself the trouble by dining on the packing peanuts with my newly delivered dip. Back to the rules. It wasn't fast. I'm not sure it's food. It wasn't expensive. I hope it's not consistent. But in case it is, it's my last visit to Popeyes. Edit. The "business owner" requested the location of the establishment. Despite this being plainly listed under the "view business" tab but sure. Here it is. 2440 State Highway 138, Stoughton, WI 53589

The wings were definitely the highlight! Big, juicy, slightly crispy, and cooked fresh to order. With 31 flavors to choose from, it was tough to decide, but that just means I'll have to come back and try more! The fries were hot and crispy, just the way I like them. They also offer other apps like mac and cheese bites, fried okra, and even desserts, which I'll be trying next time. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I dined in with a friend and we both ended up ordering to-go meals as well -- it was that good. There's even a private section available to rent for events like birthday parties, baby showers, or grad celebrations, which is a nice bonus. Also, very nice owners! I'll definitely be back again soon!

I won't claim it's authentic, because I have no idea. I can only claim delicious and it's surprisingly accurate to sauces I've eaten in NORTHERN China, which might tell you something. Suggest replacing jalapeno with any of the common Asian peppers. 3) love the quaint place. There's a small stage in back, which may or may not get good use (I hope it does). Service is friendly and professional. It's OK to dine alone. I'm no expert on Poutine but it's also good comfort food. They have house made cocktails which seem appealing and from what I can tell, people enjoy. Best times to visit: Saturday afternoon, or before a show.

Made me feel dizzy everywhere I looked. We love the large cheese curds here! And we had the sweet potato tots, which were amazing! I really enjoyed the new food menu. We all loved our dishes. Drink menu is.... Ehhh. Especially the Too Buku martini. It was supposed to have green chiles and cilantro. But all I tasted was sweet, pretty tasteless lychee. Restaurant was pretty slow, only 2 other couples in the entire place. But server wasn't around very much until the check came.
