The staff was friendly but when I approached the counter they were standing around doing nothing and they were not busy at all until after I ordered, then other folks started showing up. I ordered a spicy two piece combo (leg and thigh, may favorites) with fried okra, and a strip meal with fries for my granddaughter. When they called my number the girl said, we don't have any spicy and it would be 15 minutes to cook some. Now why didn't you have spicy available when you were standing around doing nothing ?!?! I took the regular, but she gave me two thighs, which was ok, but it's not what I ordered. The chicken was good, as was the fried okra. My granddaughter enjoyed her meal as well. These guys struggle with arithmetic! I ordered a12 piece family mixed dinner and received 6 legs. What kind of mixed meal is this? So I guess family meals include whatever pieces they can't sell! I also ordered 9 jalapeños. I got 3. Can anyone at this location count? Back in the day we would order churches and the cups of jalapeños. Bite the tips off and pour that jalapeño juice all over a piece of Chicken. Well without jalapeños, this chicken is no better than that Rooster stuff from the truck stops. Evidently they are literally only able to serve one person in the drive through at a park time - you will sit in line forever while the person in front of you orders only to be told to wait just a minute and 10 minutes later when they take your order and pull up that person in front of you will be gone. Constantly out of white meat or dark meat or okra..... And when they tell you it is gonna be 10 minutes for something they are lying cause they never can do anything in less than 30. 20 minutes if your lucky. Hard Pass! read more

Okay I know what your thinking.. it's churches how could I expect nothing more than 2-3 star service but holy cow this place is a wreck. From the kitchen looking like a trash can to the guys that are suppposed to be working eating at the front register, with chairs! I walked up to see two employees enjoying some fine churches chicken, when the employee finally noticed me he got up in a hurry and rushed to the counter still smacking on fries. I asked the cashier how he was doing today and he replied what do you want to order... already had a bad feeling as soon as I ordered the place was a wreck. So instead off sitting down I decided to watch them make my food. The chef was covered in muck grease from all day just disgusting. My chicken was refried. He didn't wear gloves. It's was just plain gross. I hate to do these things some times I will even take food to go so I can avoid complaining but I simply could not. When I asked for a refund I received the worst attitude I have ever seen. I was at a lost for words when he told me "okay but that's gonna be 2.80 for that sip I saw you take" not only did he have Any concern about why I was unpleased with the food before I even got it. She offered me another breast since u paid for two am so said ok. They both were awfully small! Dried out and just terrible. No juice, no flavor!! Food comes out HOT and DELICIOUS every time! This Church's Chicken is located in the Food Court at Round Rock Outlet Mall so they constantly give free samples. Its such a shame though that they give the fish n chips and shrimp n chips a limited time offer. I have tried the fish n chips mmm its not worth it for me as the shrimp n chips which I have gotten 3 times and no matter how many times I buy it I never get tired of it! I have wait a whole year from last year to eat this again and am not disappointed in the least. I wanted to try the strawberry shortcake but it was out of stock O.O wow how great was it for you to have to order more? The staff seem to have spanish as their first language and english as the second cause I had a hard time communicating once about something I no longer recall... well they are customer friendly and really care for you so thats what matters ^^ On a jammed pack busy day like a Sat or Sun or I guess a holiday GOOD LUCK getting a clean table or any table... its in a food court so this place shares the eating area. Wish I could give no stars, came to outlet malls to shop, stopped in the food court and ordered food. As we were watching the employees in back I saw an employee a cook I presume with an apron on handle some equipment near their dish room I assume, then go over and grab a utensil to do some frying them he grabbed my chicken strips put them in a bowl and it seemed like he was trying to block my view while he proceeded to put a sauce or powder on my strips and stir them with his hands with the same gloves he was touching things with. I saw this and asked the cashier for my money back that I wasn't comfortable with him doing that, the cashier then got an attitude saying he was wearing gloves. I explained to him what I saw and he replied ok but I'm charging you $2.80 because I saw your girlfriend take a sip out of the drink it's out policy. I was flabbergasted and taken back by his lack of customer service but in his defense he looked like he was maybe 15, 16 or so. Worst Church's Chicken I have ever experienced. Staff is rude and very unhelpful. Food was cold and when brought to the cashier's attention was told to just deal with it. No way. If it wasn't for the fact that I really like their spicy chicken I would be done with Church's as a company, but instead will just make sure to never eat at this one again. I like the Churches Chicken's food, the biscuit and the chicken, but their service at this location sucks. I wanted to get this chicken and biscuit bites thing, but the guy said it wasn't ready so I asked when it would be ready and he pointed at the menu like I was stupid.
