If I could give no stars, I would. We rolled in at 11:36 and placed 4 orders. We didn't get our food for THIRTY MINUTES!! It was 3 orders of dark meat combo - and they didn't have any!!! And at the same time, they were also out of tenders. It's before noon - just opening - prime lunch time! How do you run out of food already????? The ONLY redeeming thing was that the manager realized how bad the situation was and comped our food. I entered this business on a beautiful Sunday morning. I had everything, my coffee, my spirit, and even my friends. We sat down and waited for the service to begin, only to get weird looks from the kitchen staff. Okay.. that's odd. Just make the drive to Chick Fil A to Kerrville if you have a chicken urge. 9 out of 10 times you come through the drive through you will have to have a wait time because the geniuses in the restaurant either ran out of chicken or something happens. The place is devoid of all the former managers that used to be here and they now seem like a small frat house for kids. You'll find more kids here than at Harry Potter's Hogwarts Schools. Well, I guess I am a gluten for punishment. Went here about 6 months ago. They didn't have any spicy chicken, as usual. We ordered a family meal that came with two sides. Employee "What sides would you like?" Us "okra and corn." Employee "We are out of those sides" Us "how about mac n cheese and fries" Employee "We are out of those sides" Us: "What sides do you have?" I have tried this location 5 times and every time I have left highly upset. Walked in tonight to pick up food and noticed 4 people waiting for food. Staff never acknowledged my arrival. One associate was explaining to manager that 3 out of people waiting had been waiting in excess of 10 min. The wait times are clearly labeled on huge computer screens. Employee explained to manager that they did not have any chicken ready OR currently being cooked to fulfill the orders they had much less any new orders. So manager said just cook more. Well I was not interested in waiting 20 min for ck and would be surprised If those who were already waiting much too long wanted to wait any longer as well. I decided to eat at Church's Chicken tonight and were pleasantly surprised by receiving the best service we have ever had at this fast food restaurant. The quiet but very professional gentleman that waited on us was named Adrian. It seemed that he and the rest of the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We received very large portions of what we had ordered plus I requested for our okra to be "extra crispy." Adrian gave us a box of the best tasting okra I have ever had. we have been to Church's in Fredericksburg many times and was looking forward to going this evening while enjoying the Christmas decorations in Llano Fredericksburg, and Johnson City...so we go at 8:30 tonight and there was no other customers...we planned on getting the special that's advertised on TV and there is also a poster in the window here for the $15 special of 12 pieces and 2 large sides...so even though advertised, they do not have the tenders as specified on the poster...and they will not have any corn nuggets until tomorrow is what we were told....so I ask if the other tenders can be substituted.."NO" and this large man goes over the spill again...that they do not have it and that they will not sub with the other tenders...so we leave..really an enjoyable trip until the final stop before heading home to Lampasas..oh, we just went ahead and went to Dairy Queen..no problem...and drove by Church's twice ...no customers either time...closing time is ten I believe, so it looked like there was probably 50 pieces of chicken and another 30 tenders just sitting there when we left and figured the majority was probably wasted instead of being decent to regular customer....no excuse read more
