I went with the Old School Philly--extra USDA-choice steak, Cheez Whiz, and sautéed onions on a toasted roll--and it was absolutely worth it. One of the best cheesesteaks I've had in a long while. Perfectly hot, perfectly cheesy, and packed with flavor. The lady behind the counter also tempted me into trying the Peach Lemonade, and I'm thankful she did. It came with real peach pieces, and after the first sip I was basically in heaven. Sweet, refreshing, and the perfect pairing with the sandwich. Staff was friendly, upbeat, and had my food out expediently, which is always appreciated when you're on the road. Overall, this Charleys is a standout stop--great service, great food, and that Peach Lemonade alone is worth pulling over for. Highly recommended! The seating area was clean and had plenty of access to condiments and napkins.

I ordered the chicken fried steak with grits. My husband got the steak and eggs with a waffle. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted great. I have no complaints. The steaks were both a little thin but for the price we paid it was a good deal. The biscuits were delicious. And like always the waffle was a star.
