Chick-fil-a was further down the street from this location, but we decided to give this place a try. First of all, their prices were higher and the quality and quantity of food doesn't warrant that. Secondly, since we didn't order the combo meal, they charged us for the dipping sauce for our chicken tenders. Needless to say they lost our patronage. We wouldn't go to Cane's again even if it's Sunday and we're really hankering for chicken. Who charges for dipping sauce packets, really?! read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving one star is because I guess I can't do NO STAR!! Horrible place!!! HORRIBLE is an understatement!!!! Dry, flavorless, and almost uneatable....well, not almost, it was uneatable!!! Went down garbage disposal!! I spent $7 something for 3 strips, fries and "their" grotesque sauce! Only decent thing was the frozen crinkle cut fries. I also asked if they had white gravy (cream gravy or country gravy) and she looked at me like I had lost mind! Don't waste a dollar at this place!! The food may be okay, but you're no Chick-fil-A. If you're going to have someone taking orders outside they should have a menu ready or know your menu by heart. Also if you're going to require your guest to wear mask then offer them a mask at the door. I went here today during their lunch rush, and their computers crashed. But I had already placed my order just before the system crashed, I was literally just about to pay for my meal when the computers crashed. I waited about 8-10 minutes (along with many other customers) to see if the computers would come back online. After they realized that the computers probably were not coming back online soon, a woman came over from the drive thru side and told the two workers at the counter to go ahead and tell everyone who ordered, or was in the process of ordering when the computers crashed that "we will go ahead and give them their food for free". I was honestly shocked by this as I was fully prepared to pay for my meal, I had my card in my hand literally two seconds from swiping it right when the system crashed. This is customer service at it's finest!! They didn't have to give me anything for free, nor did I even expect them do but they did. So much kudos to the team at this Raising Canes in Ruston!! Not to mention the food was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was extremely clean and well kept also. I was just passing through town and stopped at this location, this was my first visit here, but to a Canes in general. I have had a great experience at other Canes locations but this time was so absolutely above my expectations that I just had to do a Yelp review. read more

I stopped here while traveling, and was very pleased. The employees greeted me as I walked through the door. I ordered a 3 pc combo, which was ready before I could finish filling my sweet tea (which was amazing!) at the drink fountain. My food had to have taken less than a minute before I was called to pick it up at the counter, which was very surprising because the chicken fingers and fries were both fresh and hot! Raising Cane's is one of my favorite places to eat at. It's always fresh and made to order. Sweet tea is always really sweet and refreshing. The chicken fingers are hot, marinated, and battered. I also really enjoy the slaw and crinkle cut fries. The toast is amazing as what I have been told is buttered and has a hint of garlic to it. Cane's sauce is the main attraction for me! I've been told the secret ingredients before but I'm going to keep it a secret. But what you should know is the sauce is made in the exact store you are eating at...no pre-packaged sauce. But what I love about Cane's the most is the fact it is CONSISTENT! You know what you are getting every time you go in and how it's going to taste. Part of that is because of the menu but mostly from it's always made to order and fresh. People are critical about the price for a box that has 4 chicken fingers, fries, slaw, toast, and a drink for $8...that's crazy because you would go spend almost the same at McDonald's or whatever other fast food burger place now-a-days. I would pay $8 at Cane's and be more satisfied any day over other fast food places. read more

Just like every other Cane's which is to say pretty good fast food. The chicken consistently comes out fresh, hot, and crispy, not greasy, with a savory umami flavor. Best eaten in the restaurant because it cools off while you drive home. read more

Canes is overpriced, plain and simple. Within the last few months, they raised their prices even higher. How do you justify paying $8+ dollars on everything? Their kids prices are higher than other places as well. I can get the same amount of food for cheaper elsewhere. They supposedly cook to order, but I've had cold fries and chicken before. Not my best experience at Cane's. I'm pretty much a "Caniac" and have eaten at many locations. It wasn't bad but could be better. My chicken was a bit overcooked, nearly dry inside which is not the norm for Cane's. about 1/3 of my frys were little tiny pieces. The staff here were not as "cheerful" as usual like most of the other locations. Not throwing them under the bus but this is not Todd Grave's (owner) model store. read more
