I had been wanting to try Chulita for a while, so when my mom and I were looking for a late Saturday night bite, it finally felt like the right time. The place isn't very big. It's more of an intimate, cozy setting. We sat in the bar area and the vibe was relaxed and lively. The Coliflor Fundido was the star of the night. Honestly some of the best fundido I've had. It was rich and creamy without being greasy, and we both kept going back for another bite. The Esquites was okay. Not bad, just not something I'd rush back for like the fundido. We also had the Pescado Tacos, which had really nice flavor. Overall, really solid spot and I'm glad I finally checked it out.

Ordered takeout here and after stepping into the restaurant, I NEED to eat at the restaurant. It is such a cute vibey spot, and so good for a date. I ordered some tacos, and my favorites were the chicken and the beef cheek. The fish was good too, but lacking in flavor and the protein portion is definitely smaller. The steak taco unfortunately was too gamey for me. The esquitas is also so good, it's super smoky and citrusy. They give you two tortillas per taco, and they give you enough protein to make two separate tacos. I will definitely be back, and I can't wait to dine in!

La chulita is a restaurant that needs more attention because it definitely is a gem! It's located in mid town Los Angeles. The parking is kind of difficult to be honest you're going to have to park in the residential area to park if you can't find parking on the street. The ambiance is a Mexican retro style restaurant that serves and specializes in mezcal. They have other drinks which is cool but I took my mother here and we both enjoyed it . The service is on point friendly and helpful which is always appreciated The price point is mid to high but definitely worth jr and if your around the areas check them out !

Took my boyfriend for his birthday here & loved it!! He doesn't do spicy & they were happy to accommodate his palate. The ceviche had jalapeño in it & it was NOT spicy. Which was perfect for him (i asked for extra jalapeños on the side) they also make their own Tostadas! Their tortillas are the start of the show. They were all so different & so delicious! Our server was new & was training, he let us know up front & he did a great job. At the end of our meal we would've never guessed he was new.

We had a great dining experience at Chulita. Located in the West Adams neighborhood, situated on a corner lot. The higher-end restaurant appeal was there. The ambiance very much resembled the culture of the food. Customer service was also amazing. Our server was so on top of it, and made sure everything was to our liking. Food wise, I can highly recommend the Carne Asada (Steak) Taco. The shredded beef taco was a bit on the oily side, and very similar to birria. I'm personally not a fan, but I know that is a popular dish.

This spot immediately wins you over with its charm. It is small, but the intimacy works in its favor. The aesthetics is effortlessly curated with warm lighting, and just the right amount of trendy clean details. Definitely a restaurant that needs more attention. The menu is very limited, but food did not disappoint. Now, if you are coming strictly for authenticity, this might not fully hit the mark for you. Their menu takes creative liberties, blending flavors and presentations in a way that feels more modern fusion rather than traditional. We ordered the barbacoa quesadillas and Arrachera. I was a bit skeptical about the Arrachera as the steak is served over carrot mole. However, I am very open to trying new items. Both were very flavorful and won me over with the unique flavor. Great food, drinks, and beautiful ambiance.

Saw this on Tik Tok and was impressed by the video. LOCATION - 4 STARS The area the restaurant is in has only street parking, which did take us a bit to find something but eventually we found something about a block away. AMBIANCE - 4 STARS The decor is really cute. It reminds me of a fancy restaurant in Tulum. The music was great. SERVICE - 3.5 STARS Took a while to be seated even with a reservation. Took another bit for our waiter to come offer us something to drink. And our waiter wasn't super friendly which kind of just made me feel a bit uncomfortable like I wasn't welcomed. FOOD - 4.5 STARS Coliflor fundido - 5 STARS - this was the table's favorite I think. It was so creamy and full of flavor. It wasn't vegan but the pureed cauliflower added to the texture. Vegan Queso - 4 STARS - it was too watered down for my liking Ceviche - 5 STARS - Hamachi is always great and the sauce resembled an aguachile sauce. The fish was chunky and great quality it was really fresh too. Chile Relleno - 4 STARS - usually I love Chile relleno but this one had too much sauce and the Chile was really hard to find. I added barbacoa and that was really good and they added a lot! Quesadillas with/ barbacoa - 5 STARS - this was probably my fave. My husband got this and I regretted not getting a quesadilla but luckily he gave me few bites to try. Chocolate Pudding - 5 STARS - Amazing...no notes. I loved the raspberry topping. The chocolate was so rich, creamy and delicious. Pumpkin Churros - 4 STARS - these were vegan (I think) but they were for sure gluten free which my mom loved. I personally don't love the pumpkin flavored items but these were pretty good. Overall, great flavors. Good vegan options. Prices are a bit high for what it actually is. I enjoyed the food here but not sure I would make the drive out here again.

We stopped here for brunch randomly without a reservation. It wasn't busy, so we were immediately seated. We got the guac to start with a seasonal apricot margarita. The margarita was ok, it tasted like they used mezcal instead of tequila, thy didn't inform me of that when I initially asked about the seasonal margarita, otherwise I would've ordered it with tequila instead. We got chilaquiles and the breakfast burrito as our entrees and shared a fish taco. We both loved our food. The decor gives Tulum vibes and our service was good. We will definitely be back.

After a stroll through our neighborhood farmers market, we headed down West Adams in search of a new breakfast spot -- and we're so glad we did! The beautiful decor at Chulita immediately caught our eye, so we decided to check it out. As soon as I tried my hibiscus agua fresca, I knew we'd be coming here often. It was so fresh, and the calm, thoughtful aesthetic of the space made the whole experience even better. The chilaquiles were absolutely delicious, the steak and eggs were full of flavor, and we ordered the potatoes, which came with homemade ketchup -- it was fantastic! Raheem, our server, was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations. The overall vibe transported us to a luxury resort with service, just minutes from home. Absolutely recommend checking them out!

Went to Chulita for brunch and it did not disappoint! We ordered the barbacoa quesadillas and the huarache with steak, and both were packed with flavor. The barbacoa was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, with that rich, slow-cooked flavor. The huarache w/steak- the steak was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Drinks are just as delicious! Perfect for a weekend brunch. Service was friendly but a bit slow, that was the only downfall. However, still gave them 5 stars because they were very friendly and professional. The whole experience felt lively and welcoming. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

The chicken TIKKA tacos were delicious- $8 each or per taco . The chips and GUAC delicious... The entrance is dynamic. The decor colors are stone colors. Very organic and calming. We were seated right away- 9 ladies. They are a vegan influenced, gluten free kind of restaurant. Not a traditional Mexican food restaurant. Geared towards healthy organic foods..soooo their menu however limited it's good. Some items are a little pricey. EVERYTHING IS A LA CART. The tortilla soup does not have meat. The taquitos are made with like a sweet potato -again no meat. And they do not sell anything with shell fish-SHRIMP due to some patrons having seafood allergies. how considerate. The non alcoholic beverages Fresca was delish. I enjoyed this experience. And grateful my besties treated me... due to the limited menu- Not at the top of my list but up there....

I came with my sister for lunch. The restaurant just opened for the day. Von was our server. Von seated us and took our orders. We enjoyed the music and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The natural colors and furniture of the restaurant gives you a relaxing feel. The restaurant has seating inside as well seating inside. We ordered from the entradas menu. We enjoyed the guacamole with picot de gallo. I have the quesadillas which are made with heirloom corn tortillas, queso oaxaca, pipian de calabash. The brunch menu is extensive. The wine section is large. The wine is selection is beautifully designed as part of the decor. Beautiful bar area. This restaurant is very clean and the restrooms are gender neutral. Parking can be a challenge on week days around lunch time due to school next door.

A friend recently took me here for a belated birthday dinner. The interior is beautifully designed and feels very intimate and cozy. The menu is on the smaller side, but I appreciated that they offered a good mix of vegan and meat options. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious: * Vegan Nachos - 5/5 - We ordered these with the chicken tinga topping. The vegan cheese was SO delicious and flavorful! The chicken tinga was perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended! * Arrachera - 5/5 - I typically don't like carrots, so I never thought I'd be a fan of carrot mole, but here we are! The hanger steak was cooked to perfection. It was tender and juicy and rested on top of a velvety carrot mole that completely won me over. It also came with a side of blue corn tortillas. * Pescado Taco - 5/5 - The fish had the perfect balance of umami and flavor, and so tender. I also loved that their tacos come on double-layered blue corn tortillas, so you could split one into two smaller tacos if you wanted. * Chicken Tinga Tacos - 5/5 - Their chicken tinga is phenomenal and packed with flavor. * Esquites - 4/5 - Flavorful and enjoyable, though a touch on the salty side for me. Still, it paired well with the other dishes. * Arroz Verde - 3/5 - I appreciate the healthier choice of cauliflower rice, but I was really craving regular rice and was disappointed they didn't have that option. The flavor was good, but a bit saltier and spicier than I expected. * Vegan Chocolate Pudding - 5/5 - Delicious and refreshing! The blackberry sauce and crumble toppings added so much depth and texture. * Pumpkin Pie Spiced Churros - 4/5 - Loved the texture of the churros, and the caramel sauce stood out with its unique coffee infusion.

They start you off with a welcome cocktail that was fruity & fresh. We ordered their matcha martini, more cowbell, & sky daddy & tzatziki martini. Our favorites were the more cowbell (Vodka, Pear Brandy, Salt-cured Pears, Roquefort, Michelleberger, Lemon, French Baguette Air) The last ingredient AIR was mind blowing!! Another favorite is the tzatziki martini which was like a Mediterranean martini (Gin, Aquavit, Cucumber, Dill, Mint, Lemon, Yogurt, Clarified) The sky daddy is as also good with a mix of unique ingredients- Fig and Sumac Rye, Brown Butter. Banana, Bitters. Great option for the whiskey lovers. The ambiance is old London vibes without the British accents. The cocktails are great quality. And our server Rose took incredibly great care of us. Looking forward to being back, cheers!

Spoiler: it did. This is a proper little upstairs lounge with a separate entrance from the restaurant. It's small, dim, and vibey in a way that makes you immediately lower your voice like you're in a movie scene. The sound system is legit, too. The music leaned more R&B than "generic cocktail bar playlist," which I appreciated. It feels intentional without trying too hard. They started me with a welcome drink that had tequila and fennel. I had a couple sips. Not my favorite flavor combo, but also not offensive. Kind of like a polite handshake you forget about five minutes later. For my actual drink, I ordered the Uptown Girl. Very boozy, which I say as someone who respects a cocktail that shows up ready to work. It's one of the few whiskey drinks on the menu and it landed in that Manhattan-adjacent zone. Spirit-forward, smooth, and absolutely not something you throw back unless you want to text your ex. I drank it slowly and felt extremely mature about it. The cocktail menu is fun, too. Creative names, lots of concoctions, and you can tell the bartenders are really making things, not just pouring and stirring. Even if you're not a cocktail nerd, it's entertaining to watch. If you want a low-lit lounge with great music, a strong drink, and the kind of atmosphere that makes a random weeknight feel like an occasion, Bar Benjamin is worth the visit.

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!
