After reading the great reviews, I knew I had to try it anyways. The service was super fast and friendly in the drive thru and I was happily on my way back to the hotel with some delicious smelling food. All my fears faded away with the first bite. This might be some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I had the steak fajitas burrito which was not only huge, but SO GOOD. Piping hot and everything was very fresh. Steak was cooked perfectly and it was very filling. We also got a few carne asada tacos and the Bozeman nachos. Everything tasted amazing and the flavors were great. Sometimes I worry if things are made quick, the flavor isn't there, but in this case, it was exquisite. I would've eaten here all week while we were in town. Twice was all we had time for but I will go back every time I am in the area.

This meal was intended only as sustenance, but it was surprisingly SO GOOD??? As a Southern Californian with tons of Mexican food options, we thought Albertano's in Bozeman was so AMAZING! We came back TWICE for night time munchies! The red enchilada sauce was soo good I loved that it drenched everything. The thick red enchilada sauce with the crispy taco was the best combo of crunch and gooey chile deliciousness. Combo #4 is the way. Their red salsa also had a decent kick, which was a pleasant surprise for a spice fiend! And their salsas were not watered down as I sometimes see. Very casual fast food, looks like a big mess, but I swear it's so delicious.

A full recommend for anyone into Mexican, El Salvadorian or latin American cuisine. If you get intimidated there is a more approachable taco shop a few doors down that serves flavorless, but visually appealing southwestern items also. Pro tip; don't try and take the left back onto Huffine, it's just not possible anymore, drive over to jackrabbit for a safer option.

I read about their hot sauce in another Yelp! review and asked for some. Definitely a good addition to the food. Not over the top, but a healthy spice to kick it up a notch. The food truck is neat. If you want bland, gringo dishes however, this is your spot!! (...Looking at my father). Unfortunately, I would choose Los Jarochos next time for similar outcome. (Note that they don't have alcohol though). Pretty standard menu, mixing the same meats, veggies and beans in various tortilla combos: burrito, fajita, enchilada, quesadilla. Couple other plated dishes. I got the carne enchilada based on my servers suggestion about how great the flavor of the carne was. (Spoiler: I didn't feel taste that, and it makes me a bit worried about what the other meats would've been like...) Pluses: modelo negra, margaritas and overall ambiance. Minuses: food was very bland (even sauces), expensive with no 'bang.' Three stars for service, booze and ambiance, otherwise would've been two, sadly. I would probably choose La Jarocohos next time, unless I was sticking just to happy hour.

**November 2025: Saturday Night**…read more My mom and I were looking for a spot to enjoy dinner that had parking. We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.

I ordered the 3 taco (carne asada) plate for $15.00. This came with rice, beans, and prepackaged salsa. The rice and beans were tasty and well seasoned and I appreciated the pickled carrots that added a palate cleanser to the dish. As for the tacos, they were filled with meat, onions and cilantro. The meat was a little greasy, but had good flavor with the addition of the green salsa. The tortillas were a little tender and tended to break when you tried to pick them up, but they provided silverware to make it easier to eat. For what you get, this was a good buy.
