The reason I feel this spot deserves a review is because of the changes made and so many added extras! We went to our grandsons 5th birthday and the place was totally renovated and so many new options were added. The staff person assigned to our child's party was extremely helpful and on top of things. The pizza was pretty good and all the kids ate so they must've agreed! It was Semi crowded which can contribute to a bit of kid chaos but not too bad. The kids and especially the birthday boy loved the trampolines! All of the kids had wristbands to play games which many are new & easily entertained all of them. The place was clean and organized. A great choice for a fun time! read more

We had our sons 4th birthday party here and the staff was amazing!! The ladies working the counter when I booked the party were so informative and helped me get the right package for what I needed and could afford! The host for our party was very nice and kept everyone informed to what was going on and when to turn on the cards for the 2 hours of play when to do the cake and ticket blaster. Took my kids here 11/18/23 for my Daughter first bday and we had a blast. I strongly recommend the unlimited play cards or watch.

First time taking my one year old to a birthday party here. She had a ball. The staff were friendly. Although I was waiting for them at the counter for a while before someone came to take my order for food and tokens. I love the power cards rather than carrying the tokens around. Nope, you won't find gourmet deluxe food here, but (surprise!!) that's not what you're here for (and DOUBLE surprise; it's NOT the worst pizza here in Springfield, FWIW...) You're here because your little kiddo is either celebrating another year of life (probably still in the single digits...) or it's a cold, rainy day and you want to show said single-digit kiddo a good time. So don't whine, talk about how LAME old Chuck E. is, and spend your time here being half (3/4?!?) miserable!! Relax, have some fun with your kid, and let it go... Now, my lecture's over, and I have to say, this place IS a germ-o-phobe's nightmare, and they could and SHOULD do more to maintain and modernize this joint. PLEASE clean the tables with a bit more regularity (or, as one reviewer suggested, put out some trash cans so your guests can attempt to keep clean...) First mistake was going to Chuck E Cheese at the beginning of month on a wkend. It was obvious as soon as we walked into restaurant with 4y grddaughter tht it was completely uncontrolled & over crowded with all ages of small children & bigger kids (boys) tht should've been told numerous times to stop running. The restaurant was short staffed & had numerous birthday parties going on and the restaurant was dirty! Would not patronize this Chuck E Cheese again. Also wondering if the German township Fire Marshall has ever made a visit to this establishment on a wkend day & experienced the over crowded restaurant? After reading the reviews we were hesitant to give this place a try, but we're SO glad we did. First Impression: We were greeted warmly by Matt who acknowledged it was my daughter's birthday. Once we got inside we noticed how well maintained everything was. Games looked brand new, carpets were NOTICEABLY clean...like they'd just been vacuumed. Food took a reasonable amount of time and was as tasty as ever. I've always loved their pizza. (Try the stuffed crust!) Games gave so many more tickets than the Chucks we used to go to. Now for Matt. This awesome employee went above and beyond the expected level of customer service. Finding deals to help us with pricing, making excellent suggestions, and attending to everything we could need. At one point he ran over to me with a plastic bag for our tickets, as he saw they were spilling out of my hands. We were incredibly impressed and glad to have found this gem. It was clean. My granddaughter enjoyed the games. They had quite a few games for different ages. Pizza is still fairly tasty for a place like this. I hadn't been in here in probably 25 years. Sad the robot band doesn't work and chuck E is only there on weekends. Will return sometime in the summer. read more

Chuck E. Cheese is every kid's ideal night on the town! There's pizza, prizes, games to suit any age or ability and of course their famous mantra "Where A Kid Can Be A Kid!" translates into "Run don't walk, please yell louder and we dare you to just try to break our industrial strength toys!" hehe. While free to enter, food is a little on the pricey side for mass produced food, but we all love our kiddos, and do it for them and the great memories it leaves them with! Despite all this, this Chuck E. Cheeses left us with our first ever bad Chuck E's experience. It was a real shame. I remember going to Chuck E's as a kid, and while this one is certain to please most kiddos thirst for excitement, it falls terribly short of the grand memories I have from my childhood. Heck, it falls short compared to most Chuck E's still in existence today! Luckily for them it's not my opinion that keeps us coming back, it's that of my son. This Chuck E's is much smaller and less equipped than many especially in the physical play structure dept, but all those things I could overlook were it not for their terrible (and I mean terrible!) inability to clean the empty dirty tables when guests leave in a timely manner, and their lack of professionalism. Allow me to explain. I have spent nights here where literally hours have passed as my son plays and the tables around us just sit stagnant, dirty, plates of half eaten food and oily napkins galore. Food on the floor, people and kids stepping on half eaten pieces of pizza being tracked around the restaurant. Tonight the whole section has been filthy the entirety of our time here, so far two hours. Guests have to clean tables themselves if they wish to sit in this section! I've just watched one family do exactly that. It's crazy, and for that reason alone I gave it three stars. What happened when we left made me take it down to two. That is important, no? The bathrooms are always a disaster too but I kind if expect that from a place where flocks of children roam about wild and largely unsupervised. If they fix the cleanliness issues I would be happy to update my review to reflect one more star. At one point in the night, after nobody had come to take away empty pizza trays, dirty plates and such at our own table after dinner, I attempted to find a garbage and do it myself, not wanting to bother anyone. I absolutely could not find a single one! No wonder there was so much litter on the floors! The kids give up trying to find one! Perplexed, I went to the front counter to ask if they had a garbage I had missed. They simply took my garbage I was holding, and explained how they have a compactor and like to sort everything themselves before putting garbage in, hence no garbages in the main restaurant or play area. Wow. That's a new one on me! What really made an impression on me was what happened after I wrote this review, because I did write it while our son was playing, and had not yet left. When we left, it was about 15 minutes to close at 10:45pm. We got out to our car, it was raining, then we noticed our GPS wasn't on it's cradle as it usually is. Being new to the area, and having traveled from another town to get to this Chuck E's we really needed it to get home. My Husband suspected he may have left it on our seat in the booth, so he went to go inside and check for it. To his shock, the doors were already locked! It was only a few moments past when we had left, and it was not their closing time of 11pm yet. He sat there in the rain, patiently, waiting for someone to notice him, and while they did notice him, the manager inside gestured to the concerned employees to just ignore him! So, my Husband, flustered, came back to the van and got his cell phone, to call and explain why he needed to come in. The call was fruitless. Keep in mind at this point, I was looking up wondering why they weren't letting him in, and noted the time was only 10:53pm. Still 8 minutes to close. People were still inside, including other customers! We had just spent a small fortune in there! Really? He snuck in as someone else left, despite them. We had to have our GPS to navigate home! In conclusion, this Chuck E. Cheeses is a smaller less snazzy version of most but it's great to have one at all in this area. The food is consistently done as it should be, the salad bar usually well stocked and clean, but cleanliness in this location leaves much to be desired, in addition to their absolute lack of manners. There was not that good of service the lady at the desk would not serve me or my family. SO RUDE! She said the place was jam packed when we where the only people in there. ALSO the play ground smelt like dog water and pee. And the bathrooms where not cleaned at all. We spoke to the manager and she did nothing we looked in the kitchen it turns out that the "mith" about the sliced pizza left overs put on fresh pizza is true!!! My daughter ordered a drink for my granddaughter and there where mosquitos in the mt.dew. So gross!! I will never ever in my life go there again!! Everytime we go to this chucky cheeses every table has food/trash on them and we go during the day during the week. We have to sit in the party room and I can not see my children from there. We are usually the only family there but the place is disgusting. The water levels in the games are low therefore the games aren't working properly. We have to ask to see chucky because he doesn't just come out every hour on the 30 like advertised. There are staff members standing around talking the entire 2+ hours we are there and act so inconvenienanced when asked a question. read more

Although it's no Showbiz this Chuck E Cheese isn't terrible. They still have a robot band and a lot of old school games that most other locations got rid of when they changed from showbiz to CC. All in all i'd say this is probably the only CC that i'm willing to take my daughter to on a rainy day. It's not crowded and the servers and attendants really are nice. They even rounded up my daughters 58 tickets to 60 so she could get that fancy mouse fan that she had her eye on! read more

Slowest service in history. I stood in line to purchase pizza for a very long time while I counted 4 employees around. They didn't put my pizza order in correctly, brought me the wrong pizza twice and when I told them it was wrong they said the cashier rung it up incorrectly. The manager sent an employee to talk to me and never attempted to apologize or rectify the situation. The play area smells of urine and dirt. The cashier helping us at the prize counter was very nice and helpful, but again the line was ridiculously long. This isn't the first time I've experienced these issues at this location.
