The service was good, and so was the pizza. Most importantly, the kids had fun. Staff went above and beyond.

No. Just no. This is the second party I've had here this year where the experience was awful. Our first party, back in April was a terrible experience. They didn't have enough seats for us, the food took forever, came out wrong, the service was slow, they were understaffed, machines were broken, I could go on...and I let that slide because the manager was apologetic and I totally get that every business has a bad day or two. Plus, it was a Sunday and I get how things can go crazy on a weekend. But this last experience? Sealed the deal for us. I won't even bring my kids back just for dinner/lunch and play time. We had a small party scheduled. There was ONE other small party. It was chaos from the get go. There was a new cashier. She entered our order wrong. The girl trying to help her? Not helpful. And it was her last night as an employee so she didn't really care much. The party started at 530. We did not get our play cards until 6pm. Thirty minutes of trying to keep the kids calm and explaining that they can go play "any minute" as soon as we get the cards. The food that we ordered at 530 didn't come out until after 630. Neither did the pizza which is supposed to be served about 20 minutes into the party. It is PIZZA. And wings and breadsticks. Not a baked Alaska. And it was not busy. WHY so long? The other party experienced the same issues. So, bonus, we made friends with the family of the other party as we commiserated over how terrible the experience was. The birthday celebrations were late, the cakes were late, and it was hard to find someone to talk to. When we did find the manager, she was nice. She apologized and tried to make up for the terrible experience. But it just continued to get worse. I went to pay the balance on our party. Stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone, anyone, to help. While I was there, another customer who just brought her kids in for family night was also waiting. She said they waited for 20 minutes to place their food order, and an hour later it still had not come out. Shortly after she and I spoke, her order came out wrong! Jeez if you're gonna take an hour to make pizza, at least make it right! So finally I get to pay waaaaay too much money for this complete and total letdown, and in the middle of the transaction, the manager who is ringing me up darts off because the girl who is quitting has destroyed the pizza oven, apparently. If you thought the wait for food was long before...just wait. So there I am, waiting for my receipt. And waiting. And waiting. And you get the idea. So finally I have just had enough and I storm off when the new girl finally asks if I need something. THEN she calls the manager to give me my receipt. By that time, we had been at Chuck E. Cheese for 4 hours and I was done. I didn't even let my kids get toys for their tickets because I was so frustrated. Here's the thing. This happened TWICE in one year. I can chalk the first one up as a fluke, but I have to say, if it happens twice, it's probably business as usual for them. In fact, I can only remember visiting this location once and having everything go smoothly. It was on a weekday during the school year. The manager on duty that night was very concerned and I don't want to call her out. She did the best she could. But it was obvious that she was in over her head and wasn't properly supported by her managers or the franchise owners. From all our experiences here, I bet this is probably the norm. If you are coming on a weekday, it will probably be an okay experience for you. If you are planning a party, I would probably pick a different location.... read more

Excellent service! Went there tonight and they had cheese-in-the -crust pizza. Staff went above and beyond great service, specifically Nathaniel, and I didn't catch the name of the other awesome, happy employee. Great visit! read more

The restaurant/play area was very clean. I have been to some chuck e cheese and this one was a step above. All the games seemed to work. We got pizza and wings, all tasted just great. The customer service from the manager and employees was exemplary. read more

Good grief this had to be the worst experience ever.. went for a birthday party and the kids had fun on the games well the few that weren't broken or out of service, went up front for a drink and the one cashier said she wasn't able to pour me a drink because she wasn't old enough, no problem I'm fine with that. Poor girl, when she came back her manager was with her and drilling into her about never leaving the front and how she needs to do better, honestly cmon now not professional at all and her supervisor couldn't be much older and breathing down her neck the whole time and not helping whatsoever. Anyway 15 minutes later someone came up to get my drink and they were out of what I asked for, at this point I didn't care so I got something else, said thank you and went on my way. Then 20 min later my food was ready, a whopping 10 fries that were cold what really set the mood for me was when I went it the bathroom and saw two workers in the handicapped stall talking smack about how much they hate there job and vaping... I get working here can't be easy but good grief, put a smile on and cry in your car after you clock out like the rest of us. I really wanna rate it higher because the kids had fun but as an adult brace yourself cause this place is just a total let down. read more

This is definitely the worst Chuck E Cheese I have ever been to. First off it's filthy! I get it's hard to keep this type of place clean but this one is awful! I saw the manager walk past trash laying on the floor 3 times and never picked it up but he did stop to take a picture in the photo booth. All of the tables were dirty, the restroom was terrible. The rest of the family had other things to do so it was just me and my little boy. He and I needed some time together so I took him to Chuck E. This location is a little bit smaller than others I have seen, but still worked just fine in what we were looking for. Not sure when it changed but it used to be buy so many tokens to play. Now it's time based. So for 20 bucks we got a pizza and drinks and a play card for 90 minutes. The pizza was actually pretty good for Chuck E. Cheese pizza. My son and I played the beegezus out of all the games and had a blast. He said it was the best day ever. haha. We'll be back. read more

We visited on 12/17/2019 my son's fifth birthday. We didn't have a party just took him because it was his special day but I can not express the level of disappointment we experienced. The entire staff was sitting at a table close to ours and we listened to them openly mock another employee, they decided to call him Elliot from Open Season and when the guy got visibly upset the manager tried to justify the entire thing by saying it's because, "you're slow" to say the least the staff is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Now for the food. We got a salad bar and a large pizza, the pizza was horrible it was somehow doughy and overcooked. The salad was definitely old and had a bad taste to it. When we arrived home we were all sick at our stomachs for the next 2 days. They did a couple things that were almost redeeming but not quite. The cashier put on the Chucke costume since it was his birthday and she let him pick a toy about 20 tickets more than he had, they also gave him about 30 tickets. Very unfriendly staff. Overpriced food. A lot of the games seemed repetitive and you may get one ticket or you're suppose to get a ticket but none came out. Don't bother telling the manager if a machine is broken because he was rude and didn't do anything about it. read more

This place has way too expensive!! I spent 23 dollars on 5 drinks and 30 coins!! What!? Then the salad bar has a sign that says 5.99 went to go pay that and she said it was 8 plus tax. What that is crazy not good service at all to not even offer the 5.99 after I pointed it out to the manager! I will never come back to this place ever and I hope that they will lower the prices some to make it more affordable for families! read more

This is the worst chuck e cheese. Ordered salad and they started taking the salad bar down over an hour before closing time after paying $8 for a salad. Then when they announced chuck e was coming out he didn't and they let the kids just stand there waiting. This place doesn't close until 9 but obviously every employee checked out before 8. Extremely disappointed. Salad bar. Food was old. Broccoli bottom s had black on them Probably mold. Lettuce was Browning and wilted. The older guy is extremely rude. He even made sure to walk into.me obviously on purpose. No excuse me nothing. He was rude to customers there. He does not belong working around kids. Never again. Extremely disappointed in this Chuck E. Cheese. We just moved to Sherman from Dallas and our 3 year old begged us for weeks to come here. Well, we did yesterday. First, they did not open on time. There was a family outside waiting (while us in our car ) in the cold for 5 min after they were suppose to be open until they finally unlocked the doors. Second, the staff was very unfriendly. Nobody looked happy whatsoever. Not one staff member smiled to ANYONE during the time we were there. There was a rude older man (I think was the manager) who followed and watched my family the entire time we were there. Third, you would think after just opening, their food would be fresh. The pizza buffet looked disgusting, like it was sitting there for hours (maybe since he night before, who knows). We were there maybe 15 minutes, at most, before we left. We will not return to this location unless drastic changes are made. I'd much rather drive all the way to the Rockwall or Firewheel location in the future. read more

We came here on a weeknight last month for a immediate family low key birthday celebration. We found the environment to be on the smaller side but clean with laid back, kid-friendly young staff members. We got both regular thin crust and GF pizzas. You know- I wanted to hate it. I'm a bit of a food snob and I was fully ready to gripe and whine about how gross it was... But it was actually really great and I wanted more! There were some problems with some of the games but they had a guy out there trying to fix them and offered free tickets to compensate for the inconvenience. I usually hate kid friendly environments and other peoples kids and everything but it wasn't crowded and the "music videos" we're tolerable, current music. We had a really great time and would recommend it to others! read more

My 4 year old was so excited when we told him we were going to play at Chuck e Cheese today. We live in Oklahoma, so Norman is the only other location we had been to. The lady taking our order was friendly, but the place itself was lacking. Several machines were broken, in a small place to start with,and at least 3 we put tokens in didn't work. The pizza was incredibly greasy, but I had always heard you don't go to one of these for the food anyways, so that's not what im basing my review on. There was a grumpy looking older man working there that just walked around staring at everyone. You could tell he definitely didn't want to be there. We asked where the parmesan cheese was, he said "over there", then shook his head and rolled his eyes at my mom as she walked off.When I was standing in line to cash out my son's tickets, he walked past me to get behind the counter actually pushing me forward! No excuse me at all. Took the ticket paper put of my hand, said ,"you have 300". I told him what we wanted, he put it on the counter and walked off.Really?! It's so hard to teach my kid manners when we come into contact with people like this... in a kids restaurant! We will definitely try somewhere else next time we are going to Sherman to shop. Went on a Monday afternoon, it was not busy at all. Staff was friendly, place was pretty clean... but we got our parmesan breadsticks and they were hard as a rock, had no flavor and the parmesan cheese was burned. I asked to upgrade to the cheesy bread, which they did at no additional cost (that was nice!), and was told to give them 10 minutes to have them out. 25 minutes later the cheesy bread came out with burnt edges, was hard and lukewarm like it sat under the warmer for 15 minutes. During the time waiting for our cheesy bread I played a game with my kiddo and hit the 100 ticket jackpot and got 2 tickets. She went to tell a worker at the front who said they would fix it, and I waited 18 minutes for someone to show up at the machine. I could see the staff at a table having a meeting, made eye contact a few times with most of them, but no one got up. Finally a man got up, walked into the game area...and went to another machine. So I kept patiently waiting. Another patron had to tell him I was waiting for him. He finally came over and I told him the situation, and he questioned me a few times. I'm not waiting 18 minutes to lie to you!! We got the tickets, ate our hard, lukewarm, burnt breadsticks and went on our not so merry way. For the amount of staff here on a slow Monday, this was unacceptable. read more
