My only complaint would be that some of the games weren't in working order and having issues but still take your game plays and don't give them back unless your gonna bother an employee every time. (It happened to us about 7 times, so more then normal) but there was still other working games that we had so much fun with. One of the women workers was pretty unenthusiastic and rude but the other men who worked there were genuinely so sweet and I appreciated how helpful and kind they were! The staff when you enter are fine. They look tired prob overstimulated lol. They aren't so happy but they aren't horrible. I got swindled when I first came and now I have a monthly membership because it was cheaper than paying for a day I guess. I have the lowest level bronze. Got it fo my son to bring him here occasionally and since now I'm paying $7.99/ month I guess I should come once a month at least lol. With the bronze tier (lowest) you get 20% off meals etc. we've had the pizza and of course it's not a gourmet place but it's actually not that bad. And we got one souvenir cup-mind as well bring it each time for the free unlimited drink refill. With the card-we get 40 "coins" can that be used daily (obvi I cannot be here daily) but that still provides lots of game playing since most require 1 token so honestly it's worth it. Between my son and two neices we still had leftovers. The points do not rollover with this membership so prizes must be claimed that day. Still a nice lil treat for my son and you also have 64 cards to share (just don't lose it or you have to pay for a replacement) Most of the games work but few don't. Honestly for me, it's a bit overstimulating and too loud. Especially since I've only gone after I'm off work-which other parents seem to have the same idea. Kids are out from school and it's a little zoo in there. I get it, I see parents decompressing and on their phones while they're kids are running wild (because at least it's secure so they can't leave without being hand checked with an adult and by passing two doors). We had purchased a summer fun pass two summers ago. For the summer pass we could play unlimited games once a week for an hour every week, we could get a discount when we purchased food, and we got a lanyard. It was well worth it! We were able to visit every single Chuck E. Cheese in San Diego. My family liked this location the best. Staff were always nice, the area is well maintained and most of the games were working. Prizes may not be as good as other business but the games are a decent price. We purchased the Fun Pass recently. It's much more pricer than the summer pass but we could go everyday. Due to school we made sure to go at least once a week. I posted a picture for more information about the pass. There are good amount of seating area booths and tables. I'm here to say it but I don't mind Chuck E Cheese Pizza. In fact I like it. I also like their unlimited salad bar which they do great at refilling and keeping clean. We upgraded our cups to the refillable and it's good for a lifetime. My kids probably don't want to tell their friends but they like Chuck E. Cheese. It's affordable, safe, has decent food, and the staff are nice. As a parent I'm thankful they still willing to go. When we go to D & B we spend 3 times as much for one visit. At D & B I have to keep a good eye on my kids since they can go in out without us, at Chuck E Cheese it's well lit and my kids can only leave with another adult who has the same stamp as they do. Absolutely obsessed with my experience here. The staff was so incredibly sweet, kind, & given they were understaffed I was impressed with how quickly they were able to help us. Came here about 11:30/45 for the first time in 20+ years to experience the magic of Chuck E. Cheese with my kids. Pizza is still as good as I remember it being! Got to see Chuck E. Cheese come out and interact with the kids. Sticky floors but it's to be expected . Cups are smaller than displayed but whatever, it's unlimited! I wanted to say that Adrian helped me with check in today and I want to comment on his friendly and calm demeanor. He was very patient as I figured out what I was trying to purchase and offered suggestions. I also wanted to shout out another employee that I just met- Seane. He worked monitoring the Adventure playground. He was friendly and attentive. Checked in with kids that might have bumped or tripped. Ensured that the kids were following the playground rules to keep play fun, safe and fair. He was kind enough to explain how play points worked which was helpful. I always have a good time at this location. I normally come right at opening when its empty or much where people are barely trickling in(I get overwhelmed by large groups and my son be like sonic the hedgehog once we get through check in) but today we came right at busy hour, and though it felt a bit overstimulating. My 7-year-old son was able to walk out of the building completely unnoticed--no one was monitoring the exit as they are supposed to. I found him standing outside the facility by himself. When I reported this to the cashier (Serena), she was careless, dismissive, and even questioned why my son left instead of acknowledging their failure to secure the exit. I spoke with the manager (Jason), who seemed more receptive, but I'm still shaken. This location clearly does not prioritize safety or accountability. If something had happened to my child, who would take responsibility? Parents--do not assume your kids are safe just because they stamp your hand. I'm here now with my granddaughters. This place is really going downhill since last time, 6 months ago. Helicopter ride didn't work. Paddles on air hockey are so sticky they have trouble sliding. Some of the little kids' games either didn't work or only go for 15 seconds. The balls were missing from basketball game. The balls in the Buzzy Buzzy game didn't fly high enough for the basket to catch them. Skee Ball max's out at 16000, the lowest reward level possible. The teenage workers couldn't find the 20-something manager for 5 or 10 minutes so we couldn't buy trampoline passes. So many arcade games were busted. Expensive and unreasonable in pricing. Salad bar remained unfilled and poorly maintained till it was addressed. Cleaning products left un attended for long periods of time on the tables with children running around and endangering them if they picked it up and started playing with the spray bottles full of cleaning products. My niece slipped dangerously at the soda station multiple times and was addressed to staff. no one did anything about it. There was literal puddle of liquids on the floors. Bathrooms were horribly maintained and reeked of heavy urine even before entering. I left our leftover pizza slices on a separate plate so that if an employee stopped by to clean our table, they would only take our trash and empty pizza dish. But after we came back from playing games, our plate of food was gone also. I intentionally left our backpack at our table so that they knew we were coming back. My mom had ordered two pizzas and was only given one, and when she brought it up to the worker's attention he wasn't listening to what she was saying. This is your typical place to bring your little ones for a debriefing and to ensure they can run around and not escape lol. They serve beer and wine here for the parents and have quite a bit of good deals for food packages if you're able to find online coupons those help out a lot. I love their pizzas, wings, and salad buffet here. For some reason it's sooo good to me. On peak nights, there can be quite a bit of a wait to get your food but hey the kids are playing so they're not complaining.
