I can't even remember the last time I was at a Chuck E. Cheese and I must say this visit back was fun! I came here with my three year old and there was a fair amount of things for him to do, though I do think the arcade may be better suited for kids who are a couple years older. He still had a blast! We came around 11am on a Saturday and it was pretty chill, even with a birthday party going on. The parking lot is TINY so plan ahead. The facility was clean and all of the games were in operation. It wasn't over crowded, but it was overwhelming in the sense that it is LOUD. Music blaring constantly which definitely gives a party vibe, but on top of all the kid and arcade game noise, it's a a lot. It was very easy for us to get a table and put our stuff down while the kids played. I was not mad at the pizza! I liked the crispy thin crust and how it was seasoned. The fries were a total pass. Floppy and cold. I wasn't interested in the salad bar, but they did have one available. I would totally explore hosting a birthday party here in the future. It seems super affordable and they have a lot of coupons and specials if you look in the app. For some reason I thought Chuck E. Cheese had indoor play structures but maybe that is a thing of the past? At least this location didn't have one. But they DID have the old school animatronics! Honestly that was why we came. They were so fun to watch and perfectly quirky. My son couldn't have cared less, but I was highly amused! They didn't check our hand stamps on the way out which is concerning, since it's supposed to add another layer of security I think? The staff wasn't the friendliest, but that wasn't a big issue. It was nice that Chuck E. Cheese came out to take pictures with the other kids and not just the birthday party people! I'd come back for sure. Memberships actually seem super reasonable! I just wish my son liked pizza...
We drove about an hour to this "legacy" location so my young kids could see the animatronic show. The staff was very friendly, responsive, and patient, happily cueing up the "robots" for shows by request. When we found a game that didn't work, an employee immediately tinkered with it and got it back to working order. My kids were a few dozen tickets shy of their prize goal, so I was prepared to pay the penny per ticket fee, but the staff member refused to charge us. This was definitely worth the drive for my crazy kids who learned about the O.G. Chuck E's on YouTube. It's like they got to travel back in time to my childhood!
Chuck E. Cheese is so nostalgic I was glad that the school recommended we visit it for a fundraiser. The place was spotless for so many kids that were there Lol and ambiance of course it's loud and many children running around enjoying themselves it's Chuck E Cheese The pizza was so good I don't remember it being this tasty. And made to order which I really appreciated. The parking for it very limited at this location but Aside from the parking at this location I would say our experience was great.
Super FuN TiME! We were so excited to see the fully functional animatronics. Many employees were mediocre on our first visit. They did a better job on our second. We had told them we had come a super long distance just to see their location because they are one of the only ones in the entire country where the animatronics have a guaranteed permanent residency. Another family from Texas was there too. They had come all the was from Houston as their family had children that were also Chuck E Cheese "superfans." We stayed about 3 and 1/2 hours total. We were so disappointed that the animatronics did not seem to perform with any regularity at all. We had to walk up and prompt them/ask for the animatronic band to play each and every time. Also, the first three times they played, they played the same song about "Sparkles." This was so annoying that my little one finally asked management, "Can they play anything else, or is this the only song they can play?" Management assured us they could play other songs, & the last two times we heard them play, they did play "Together We've Got It" and "Perfect Day." Those were a refreshing change. The sound coming from the animatronic band performances was very muffled and much quieter than the other songs played on the televisions throughout the restaurant/throughout the day. I'm not sure why. Wish they could play the band's performances out the same speakers. There was a super kind and friendly gentleman who was working the tech room/maintaining all the video games. I wish I had gotten his name. He appeared to be of Asian decent. He was kind enough to let the children take a look at all the cool stuff he had back there in his tech room which, to the children, felt like an amazing behind the scenes tour. :-) Chuck E. Cheese, himself, came out very frequently ... more so than any other Chuck E. Cheese we had been to. Each time, he walked the full length of the restaurant so every patron was sure to see Chuck E. He also played a few games with the kids including, but not limited to, Full Tilt & Big Bass Wheel. Top notch 5 star Chuck E. experience, for sure. This Chuck E. was not rushed, and he made sure anyone who wanted a hug or a photo had an opportunity to feel satisfied, special, and fulfilled. They place was quite enjoyable though they had gotten rid of the C1 artwork, and apart from the animatronics being present and the amazing walk-around Chuck E. (who did far and away exceed our expectations), the store, itself, was really just like any other C2. I don't think the staff realizes what a big deal it is just to have made it to their location. If they did, I think the counter staff would try harder to make it feel special. I hate being disappointed in staff's lack of enthusiasm. The lady at the front was more interested in seller me a Summer Fun pass, when she already knew we held the monthly Gold Membership, than she was in making the visit magical for the children. Big mistake - HUGE! It should ALWAYS be about the MAGIC and pleasing the children, without exception, because without the magic, it's really just another "pizza place," right? Floor is unusually sticky by sodas and In restroom. I would think that could be easily addressed though. I noticed other patrons mentioned this issue in prior reviews too. We would definitely go back. Parking is a little difficult for an oversized vehicle so be forewarned you may need to find street parking a few blocks from the restaurant. Editing to add a couple of bits from a second visit we made within the same week. On our second visit, it was a Sunday so we were able to utilize the bank's parking lot (for our oversized vehicle) because they were closed on Sunday. Also, the employees seemed much nicer and happier today than the ones they had working just a few days ago. There was one gal (who had been on that first day we were there) who remembered us. That was impressive and encouraging. This weekend day was far busier than when we visited mid-week, and the animatronics played more regularly this time, without our having to be a bit in the side of management. That was nice to see, as well.
Do I like Chuck. E Cheese? Yes, Did I rate it five stars just because of my love for Chuck. E Cheese? Well, not exactly. You see, I picked Northridge specifically because of the animatronics but we'll get to that later. First, the games. Now, the game amount is JUST right. I mean, two rooms of games is more than enough! And, they picked the best games as well so shoutout to whoever thought of buying the games specifically. Oh, and we can't forget the main part of this review: The animatronics. Yes, this store does indeed have animatronics. It's so cool :). At the 2.0 stores the playground and trampoline take up all of the space and it's good to finally see the animatronics after all this time. Also, food was done pretty quick so that's another shout out. So yeah, overall best Chuck. E Cheese EVER! Recommend going here, ignore the bad reviews.
This review is for the re-grand opening event on 11/10/23. As a child of the 80s, I have fond memories of Chuck E. Cheese, having had many birthday parties there. (Chicagoland area) The pizza, the games, Chuck E. and of course, the animatronic band. When my wife and I heard that the Northridge location was getting a remodel and Nolan Bushnell was going to be there we were curious to see the new remodel and hopefully met a social icon. Despite the hour wait in line, the staff was nice by handing out chocolate and vanilla cake, posters, and a commemorative pin to all the guests waiting. We took our 4yr old to the grand reopening, this location was said to be like a Chuck E Cheese time capsule from the 80's, before the remodel. We were excited to see it. When we finally got inside we were seated front and center of the animatronic band, best seats in the house. A life-sized Chuck E. Cheese also made appearances throughout the event dancing and playing with the kids, and creating a memorable experience for our daughter. We spent about $60 on a large pepperoni pizza and two adult beverages. The pizza was good, and was big enough for three. The pizza did take about 45min, because of the size of event. They have a selection of four beers on tap for $9.99 each, plus alcohol tax. (I think the prices of beer differ per location) Most of the guests were eating pizza. Also, the salad bar seemed popular with the adults. The remodel marks the end of animatronic bands at the other locations. The re-opening party featured appearances from Chuck E. Cheese founder Nolan Bushnell and current CEO David McKillips. Unfortunately, Nolan Bushnell left early before we could get a photo with him. This re-grand opening event was from 6-8pm on 11/10/23 they offered free cake, a special performance by the band, and a free collector's poster, and pin. The first 25 families also received one free hour of All You Can Play time at the arcade. The nostalgia as I remember of Chuck E. Cheese lives on in this revamped and modernized location. Fun times!
Came for a birthday party. My daughter is 7 so for her age range this was perfect. She can pretty much play on her own, which is nice. There are 3 sections of games/fun - one small section for toddler ages, and 2 sections for kids a little older. The party host did the unlimited card option which was great because it kept the kids entertained the entire time and my daughter had more than enough tickets to trade in for little toys and candy at the end. The host ordered pizza for the group. My daughter enjoyed the cheese pizza and I enjoyed the vegetarian. The pizza was really good - nice crust with a garlic flavor, perfect amount of cheese and veggies. There was also a veggie platter with tomato, celery, carrots and broccoli and the veggies all looked fresh. Chucky came out for the birthday fun and danced with the kids. It's located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking. The restaurant and play areas looked nice and clean. This is a good party option if you want to have entertainment and not have to cook and clean.
First time in a long time. Brought my son a few years ago and he was too little to really enjoy anything. Now he is able to enjoy the "play all you can play" like other unlimited play arcades. He really enjoys Royce's arcades and Retro arcades so he definitely enjoyed the new changes here. Now that I know about their "play all you can play," my family and I will be back a lot. I recommend loading the card with 30-60 mins of play. I loaded 2 cards for both of my kids where you could have just used one. You can also pause 1x to eat or take a break. Playing games for tickets to exchange at the end is a nice feature as well compared to the other unlimited arcades I mentioned on top. Definitely recommend for families with young kids. read more

The place was so empty it was kinda sad. But it didn't bother me cause I don't like children. I ordered a salad bar plate for myself and hot wings for my mom. I don't know what they put in that potato salad but it was so good, I'm just gonna come back and fill a cup with it or something. The vegetables were pretty fresh and the salad station was very clean. They even swapped out another clean plate so I could grab more salad. From what I was told, the wings were crunchy and had a nice taste, but they weren't spicy. Usually when you order wings you'd want more "heat" to them. We also got fries but they were okay. I wouldn't really order fries again from a place that specializes in pizza. Would definitely come back. read more

We had a great experience at At At Chuck & Cheese. The food was 7/10 the reason why Is the crust was way to hard to bite. Customer service was 9/10. Everyone seem 5 stars the chucke showing off his dance moves read more

This was my first time throwing my son a birthday at chuck e cheese. We started planning about a month in advance , Karina was absolutely helpful. Finally, the big day arrived. We were instantly given the play passes and filled in about when chucky would come out, etc. They took our cake and put in the fridge. Helped with the gifts and balloons. Kathy was absolutely amazing. She was on it! She filled our pitchers and brought our pizza fast. My guest were really happy. My son loved the ticket blaster! He had so much fun in there. He also loved all the attention chucky gave him. They put him on the stage and he was living for it. When it was time to sing happy birthday we places the candles on his cake. Kathy ended up burning her finger really bad, and we felt horrible! She was ok when we checked up on her but still, felt super bad. Kathy was able to help us relax, we were running around prior to the party that it felt good to be able to sit and enjoy the party. We still have so many tickets left and play passes. Overall my guests and the birthday boy had a blast. I had a lot of fun as well seeing everyone enjoy themselves. I will probably throw him another party here if he wants. read more

My opinion of this Chuckie E Cheese has changed. Recently I had my son's 4th birthday party at this location. The reason I chose this location over others is the set up. The party area is away from the games. The location is very spacious. Planning my party with them was ok it wasn't the best but it my experience would make me return again. Let's just start with parking. On weekends parking is crazy. The parking lot is very small so you have to wait for parking. They do have valet free of charge but I wouldn't recommend it. The reason why I am giving this review a 4 instead of 5 is because of their Valet. Mike is very disrespectful and really needs to learn how to talk to his customers. When I arrived they had my table ready I had to just setup real quick. My party host was Kathy and she was wonderful. She was attentive and on top of everything. When I come here I know the food is ok. You really come for your kids because you remember when you were a kid. I ordered a Xtra Large Cheese Pizza because my son likes Cheese, A Large Stuffed crust Pepperoni and a Large regular Pepperoni. The pizza was good nice and fresh. The cheese had a nice garlic taste. It was better then I remembered. The best part of this whole experience was how Chuckie interacts with the birthdays guests. How he dances with the kids and makes their time special. While lighting the cake I bought a special sparkling candle. It was a 4 that was supposed to sparkle. Kathy did the honors of lightning the candles but while lighting the 4 it went off and burned her hand. I felt awful because she got hurt because of the candle. I apologized and she said was ok but you can tell she got burned bad. She took one for the team. My guests had a wonderful time. My overall experience was wonderful I do recommend throwing a birthday party here. Just beware of valet parking. In the future with be throwing another party here. read more

Amazing service, we threw out sons 6th birthday party here hosted by DANIEL ... It was nothing short of amazing, as parents we usually have to mingle with the adults and make sure everyone has everything they need or offer them drinks and food. But thanks to our host we didn't need to lift a finger, he was attentive to everyone's needs. My kids and their friends loved every single minute of the party, it was hard to pry them away from the pizza drinks and games .. Cristian's Costume Birthday Party shut the place down .... I'd recommend Northridge Chuck E. Cheese to anyone that is looking for an amazing carefree birthday party for your young kids read more

This one isn't bad. It's not great by any means, but it's not bad. They just seem so limited in the amount of games to play, especially if you compare it to other locations such as the one in Burbank. It's also located in a tiny strip mall, so they don't have much to work with. Also, the pizza is just ok. I wasn't expecting world class food here, but it really does feel like it was cheaply made. read more

Chuck E Cheese has come a long way! Service, food, and the cleanliness is always improving. The games seem to get changed out often so there's always something new for the little ones to play. The salad bar is a great option for the healthy conscious and it's great to see Chuck E Cheese come out of his mouse hole to do a little dance and give out free tickets during the "ticket splash". The General Manager Elva is always in a good mood and willing to go out of her way to make your visit more pleasant. read more

This Chuck-E-Cheese was the first location I've been going to since I was a baby and all through the 80s early 90s. The best time was the pizza time theatre era. You have the king in 1981 then you had Dolly dimples and then you had the beagles and finally the beach Bowser's and then just the main Show cast. As far as the show they had guest stars such as Harmony Howlette, Madame oink and finally Helen Henny. I hear they're getting rid of the animatronics within the next few weeks or months so if they're adding more TVs I hope they can bring back some of the older acts that no longer exist such as the beagles the king Harmony but put them in animation or puppets on the television read more

The entrance greeter welcome us with a genuine smile. Elva the Manager was very kind and willing to answer questions I had about the play card; Johnny has this natural energy to host guest and he does a great job to pump up the environment. Ricardo the other manager was also very helpful. We enjoyed how the staff had the restaurant running; This speaks volumes of the upper management on how they choose their team members and how they work well with the challenges that the rush hours brings. keep up the great work Elva, Ricardo, and Johnny. read more
