10/10/2020 Here again for a grandchild birthday party....they have taken serious the restricting the number of people-which is good. Most are kids accompanied by adults...the adults did have on mask! They do temperature checks at entrance. It seemed several of the games were not working but the kids are brutal on them! My daughter bought passes for the kids to play games for 2 hours($30 a kid) not sure if that included the pizzas but truthfully...the pizza are good! The kids get fruit punch/lemonade-adults can get beer of wine at $6.50 each but you may need it...lol!

Monday is fun day part 2 of my grandson 5th birthday bash. We celebrated yesterday at Dave and busters. More crowded than normal. Acchool is still out. This is a fabulous place for younger kids. I didn't see the big ginormous dancing mouse today. There were screaming kids and pizza for food. Plenty of pizza. I love pizza! For a schedule event or an impromptutu party fly to Chuck E Cheese. It is right around the corner from Main Event. Happy birthday Nolo!

Not going to lie- I was pretty excited when I got invited to my Friends' 4 year olds birthday party. Ready to play some games and clear out claw machines- I made my way in to the house of the mouse. I was greeted by some not so friendly cashiers who seemed rather bothered to be at work...I went on to purchase my play card and order a pizza. I was pleasantly surprised to see a gluten free veggie pizza on the menu, but I'll get to that in a minute. Half the games were out of order. The claw machines had less than 5 items in each. But hey we were here to celebrate little man's bday. He didn't want much - just to run around and see "the mouse" and have some bday cake... Well pizza comes out and I have a pile of slop on some type of crust- that appeared cut but was not . I could not for the life of me cut into the pizza. I brought it back to the counter and was told they only have plastic knives in the back...they were extremely confused and said they wouldn't be able to cut the pizza. As the employees ran around trying to figure out who was in charge-my pizza sat on the front counter. It sat and sat. At this point I decided it wasn't worth it and asked to just be refunded...but no one knew how to do a refund... After the sad pizza party - it was time for cake! Yet there was not a lighter in sight. Now yes we should have brought one, but you would think at a kids bday place they would have these types of things available, and forget about a cake knife... Well at least there is the Mouse right!? Chuck E Cheese himself would surely come out and dance with the kids and do the whole mouse thing, right? We were there for about three hours... You guessed it...NO MOUSE

This is a great game room for the kids. It is clean, safe and the staff is friendly and helpful. All the flashy kid friendly games are in good working order and Chuck E makes an appearance to sing and shake your dancing bones every hour! He makes it rain with free tickets and who doesn't like that! The pepperoni pizza and the salad bar are really good so eat while you are there!

    Def not for kids.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. No? What's that? Not a good way to start a review you say? Perhaps. If you have ever been to one of these places you know, it isn't about you. It's for the churlen! So plan on a super noisey, overpriced frozen pizza eating, over sugared and expensive time that your baybay will love. I was a little let down that this location didn't have any animatronics to compliment the ambiance but they do have BEER. Yeah, beer. Awesome right? So all in all- suck it up and and take your kid out to have some fun. The only thing negative I have to say here is that the games are really centered around and designed for older kids and that nothing really held the interest of my 2.5 year old. Still- for a rainy Saturday diversion where the park isn't available....... think about checking them out .

This is probably the coolest place to take your child and to take your INNER child to eat, play and have a great time! All of the games have been upgraded and are so much fun to play. They've moved away from the traditional Chuck E tokens that used to weigh down your pockets like rocks and now they give you a card with digital tokens. Just tap the card on the card reader of the game you want to play and you're all set! The food taste much better than I remember too. The pizza is made to order, hot, cheesy and never burnt. They added some some very tasty sandwiches to the menu too and the salad bar is pretty good. If I'm not mistaken, you can order food to-go. The staff are usually pretty busy with running the place, but if you make eye contact with one of them, they will politely assist you. I know this because a few of the games have malfunctioned and I have had to let them know. Even if they can't get the game back operable and you've already paid, they'll reimburse you. Like the old tv commercial said, "A place where a kid can be a kid". So true!

I knew yesterday as soon as I saw the advertisement for the new specials I had to get Layla's Chicken Cutlet Sandwich. My daughter couldn't decide on a calzone or the Mac Attack Pizza and after some deliberation, she landed on the Mac Attack Pizza. We got there just after opening and they already had a few customers in the door, but we didn't have to wait long at all. Our food was ready within 15 minutes and brought out. The chicken cutlet sandwich was everything I had hoped it would be. Tangy, savory, and the cutlets were the perfect thickness. Full of great flavor and fresh mozzarella made this the perfect lunch today. The bread wasn't too soft, nor was it too hard. Baked PERFECT. I would eat this every single day if could. Amara loved her pizza and is excited to have some left over for later when she's playing her video games. I like mac n cheese, but generally I'm not a mac and cheese on pizza kind of gal, so I did not try any as of yet. Maybe she'll let me have a slice later? I was too stuffed from the sandwich for anything else. 10 out of 10 recommend and hubby is a little jealous we went without him.

The entrance felt unclean--glass doors, floor, and mats were all gross--and seeing rodent traps by the front door during the day was a major turnoff. It gave the impression that cleanliness has been overlooked. We enjoy the food, but until this improves, we won't be back.

She was patient and very helpful as well. I ordered a bacon and mushroom pizza. My go to pizza. The places is simple: ovens, slice station, and the prep counter. Exactly what's needed for a pizza place. The mural on the wall listed the 5 boroughs and had the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as the Statue of Liberty. I mean, New York is there. The pizza came out fast and I got back. Here's the thing: Florida is notorious for having lackluster pizza. There's no ways around it. The pizza was cooked perfectly, thin, and a thicker crust. Perfect for folding. The sauce: not too loose and not too thin. Good amount for pizza, regardless of location. Flavor wise, not bad. Cheese and toppings had the right amount so it could incorporate into every bite. Now going back to my statement on Florida pizza. It's better than other Floridian pizzas I've had. It scratched the itch and I definitely enjoyed it. They'll get my business when I come back to Jacksonville!

The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants. There are only four stools here next to a bar, if you want to eat in. The bathroom was pretty good. I probably wouldn't come here again, but if I were in the area I might try some of their other pastries or sweet treats.

Julia at the counter must be used to first-timers She was so helpful and didn't seem put-out by all the questions. So many choices. See photos which are self-explanatory. While the fruit options are what they're known for, I thought them pricey, but ok for the optics, and a good flavor. All are made of the same stuff with the contents fruit-appropriate. I couldn't decide on just one, but with my only requirement being "not too sweet", I took the advice of a regular customer and got the lemon which was not too tart or sour and just creamy enough as to be likened to a creamsicle and also the recommendation by Julia who only asked: do you like coffee? To which I replied only with cream and sugar and I got that luscious lovely sl oblong confection. $24 for two pieces of delectable gorgeousness? I wouldn't do this often but it was a very satisfying bit of indulgence. Btw, they can't give you a cup of water, but you can buy a bottle of it. Or sit out back next to the pond with your own water bottle from the car.
