Which put a bit of a interesting twist on the night. The DJ facilitating the karaoke was quite entertaining and the people attempting to do their best singer impersonation was, well, let's just say you will never catch me up on a stage. The bar was a bit of hit or miss. I asked for what I thought they had and was told to hold up a minute. They came back and told me they were out of it and awaiting a delivery. I went with a Level Up IPA that I ended up sipping on for a majority of the night. Let me get into the place a bit. It looks a bit odd when you first arrive. It appears that at one point the main entrance was facing the street. Evident by the door that is behind the bar. The entrance now is on the side where the parking lot is. It is a bit deceptive if you only look at it from the outside. Not having stepped foot in here prior to that night I did not know how far back the actual space goes. If you were not to venture far from the bar you would think that the bar was the only thing about this place. But this space is so much more vast than one would think. Off of the bar is a billiard room, and then there is some table seating. Only reason I know this is that the restrooms are down past there. It looks as if they purchased a restaurant business that was next door and connected them. Just so we are aware, I have no idea if there is truth in there, I am only saying this because when you go off the bar, you go down an incline. All in all, this was a great place to unwind after an extremely busy day. It was loud and then quiet, dark and light, fun and boring all at the same time. I am told that their food isn't all that bad and it appeared they had specials throughout the week. I know one day they are not open, but I cannot remember what day that is.

My best friend and I are on a boys and extended weekend mini-vacation, and after shooting guns…read moreyesterday (see my review), decided another fun thing to do would be to throw some axes around. Pocono Axe Works was a big hit even with our sore shoulders. After checking in and verifying that we signed our waivers, we were led to our lane with two targets. Our helpful staffer gave a quick rundown of safety procedures and also a short tutorial of how to throw. We watched and learned and it was our turn. Both my friend and I have done this before but it was quite some time ago. It took a while to get the hang of getting the right rotations on the axes, and with the different weights of them, I found that I preferred one over the others. But we played multiple games using the scoring of the World Axe Throwing League. 10 rounds, one throw a round. In the end, we were at five games each as winners. One game we only used our less dominant hand to throw which was funny. We inquired about a different game and was told about "Around the World" where you have to score from one to the bullseye and then back to one and lastly a kill shot. I got to the bullseye and finally hit it while my friend got to the five-point before we decided our shoulders were just giving out. You can bring food and beer/drinks in, and we each had two Yuengling Hershey's Chocolate Porters as we did our thing. We had some great conversation and laughs. Others were coming in consistently as we were there on this Saturday, and they also have leagues you can sign up for. If you're in a large group, you may want to try and rent multiple lanes as the time it takes for your turn could be long and you are quick to throw. Kinda like bowling. I'd recommend coming with one friend for the practice and then doing the whole group thing. The single staffer was attentive with everyone and friendly. The facility also has a "gift shop" selling clothing and pillows and other stuff. My friend and I had a great time overall. $112 for a two-person two-hour rental including tax.

How hard was it to give the refund so we could return to enjoy the movie on a night that wasn't a monsoon ? OR if you are that tight , could you not write us a voucher to come back for ONLY that movie ?‍ It's not hard to make an unsatisfied customer happy ,but you failed miserably .The one thing you did succeed at , was losing three customers who will not return
