All aboard....Let's take a ride on the Chuck E. Cheese train The place was packed with children everywhere which is expected for a kids venue. I was there for a special child in my life birthday party. The party tables for the individual parties and benches are on top of each other. There is barely room to walk down to the benches. The space does not accommodate for adults. We are heading down the train tracks...I took lots of pictures and video but out of respect to the parents I will not post them. I have one food picture to post. I ordered the 6 piece boneless wings for a whopping $33.00!!! This is not a typo, so let me repeat for those on the back of the train. See picture of what we received for $33.00. We were glad to get off of this train 2 hours later and we are $99.00 lighter from ordering subpar food. If I could leave zero stars I would Let's start off by saying I paid a total of $80 I arrive with my autistic son /my autistic patient(whom doesn't even play just likes to look at the atmosphere) and my daughter. Please share !!!!!!! Please avoid the Chuck E. Cheese in Dearborn this afternoon. I took my son there for a day off from school, and the experience was absolutely unacceptable. First, he was told he was "too tall" to use the trampoline area -- an area he's always been allowed to play in before. We were only there about 15-20 minutes after spending total $80 Another parent whom had 4children approached me, complaining that my son was "jumping too much" and "acting like he was the only one in the area." I calmly explained that my son is autistic and apologized, but he responded by saying that was "no excuse" and that my child needed to "have his space." He continued ranting, yelling in my face, and recording me. Of course I defended myself and my child I'm always going to stand 10 toes behind my kids!! What made everything worse was the manager's response. Instead of addressing the man who was yelling at me and threatening me, she told me to leave and immediately refunded my money. He was allowed to stay. She never spoke to him at all. We were the only Black people in the building, and the entire situation felt discriminatory and humiliating. I was simply trying to give my children & my autistic patient a nice day out. It's already hard enough finding places where my autistic son feels comfortable and welcomed . I truly thought Chuck E. I came back yesterday with a family that was having a birthday party. I can say I was pleased and disappointed, now I can say the party mom was being rude and her attitude was not ok. However, our party host was just as bad I get that she was frustrated but if you're going to talk bad about someone do it away from them she did the exact opposite. I overheard her talking Trash about the party mom and that's just very unprofessional. The party host was Marina and she seemed sweet but boy were we wrong. Now moving on to why I was please the other party host were amazing they did theyre job amazingly, The managers were out standing and made sure everything was taken care of. The cashiers were amazing I had the opportunity to talk with the cashiers they were sweet. Kitchen put the icing on the cake for why I was pleased, the pizzas had the right amount of cheese, sauce, and they stuffed and regular crust was perfect. I hope Marina do better with other parties. read more

This is the best Chuck E. Cheese's I have ever been to.  I've attended  several children's parties at different Chuck E. Cheese's location and this one, by far, is the best.  It is neat and clean.  All the machines appeared to be working and were in good condition.  They were kept looking good too, so, the whole place is appealing. They had a wide selection of toys at the checkout counter.  Each one was well stocked and properly labelled.  The food here is fresh and well made.  The pizza is piping hot and delicious (let it cool down for the kiddies, of course). They are security conscious and watchful.  This is not to say you should ever let down your guard but in general this appears to be a trustworthy place. Most of the parking lot is in good condition though there is some construction going on next to the nearby hotels.  There is plenty of parking and it is easy in and easy out when you go there.  Have fun! The staff is bright and engaged which is very important for a place like Chuck E. Cheese's. read more

The staff at this particular Chuck E. Cheese are extremely rude. It's clear they don't want to be there. When my husband asked for help because the ticket counting machine gave 3 tickets for the 100 he put in the girl he went to gave him the worst attitude. She flat out said she's not helping him and to go to someone else. The machines are all out of wack. After winning a jackpot we treated like criminals after the machine did not release the tickets. As if we made it up or maybe that's how you treat people when you don't want to work. If I owned the establishment I'd get rid of all of the girls working in the front Update: I was contacted by a representative and they worked hard to accommodate me after my last experience. Clean establishment! Salad bar is great if you are not eating all that cake and ice cream. Games are fun for the kids and if you are five and under, this place is heaven. Staff is nice and guards the door during busy weekends. Great place for kids under five! Food is ok but not five stars. read more

They're really nice here and gave me free things. They aren't greedy and really are customer focus. They gave me my food right on time and well cooked. They gave the kids free candy and even cotton candy towards the end of our visit. read more

During my college days in the Columbus, Ohio area, when a buddy and I found out that our friend, Jen, was from Cincinnati, Ohio, somehow or another, my buddy brought up the Chuck E. Cheese in Cincinnati, and how his family used to drive from Dayton, Ohio just to go to it. I told about how my family drove from West Central Ohio to meet with my aunt and cousins from Northern Kentucky at that same Chuck E. Cheese. When I mentioned how that Chuck E. Cheese had an employee who wore the Chuck E. Cheese costume who loved to dance in the suit and teach children how to dance, my friend, Jen, and my buddy burst out laughing, because they remembered the same guy in the Chuck E. Cheese suit. It turned out that the three of us might have been in the same Chuck E. Cheese location at the same time when we compared dates. Back in the day when Chuck E. Cheese was first getting started, Chuck E. Cheese used to be cool. It had some of the latest name brand video games. It had the main stage and side stages with other characters as cabaret shows. People used to travel for miles just to go to Chuck E. Cheese. Sadly, I really don't see that happening with this location. I went to this place over the week end to attend a child's birthday party. First off, while driving up to the place, if they hadn't put up banners in the parking lot, I would have missed the place, because the location is undergoing a remodel and the outside signage is missing. The place also lacks the distinctive exterior look of some of its sister restaurant locations. Going into the place, the interior no longer has the pictures of the characters on the walls. It has some of the interior separation areas removed and carpet duck taped to cover those areas. All in all, it has more of the look of a generic banquet hall to it with a children's game arcade on one side and an animatronic stage on one end. This location lacks that special quality which made families want to drive from other states and other cities that Chuck E. Cheese used to have. The Chuck E. Cheese branding is weak inside. The food was good. The pizza was a thin Sicilian style crust pizza. Some places manage to get such pizzas either too crisp, ie burnt, or too underdone. This pizza had the crust just right. The salad bar was lacking in proteins for vegetarians who do not eat eggs. Their only protein option was sunflower seeds. They might want to add some beans to the salad bar for the vegetarians to have more protein options. As for the entertainment, it is almost like Chuck E. Cheese is giving up. They had a flat panel, large screen TV set up on the stage playing cartoons of the animatronic characters, cartoon commercials and music videos. I'm not sure why they had this TV on stage in the first place, because the location has two flat panel TV monitors hanging from the ceiling just in front of the stage which could be used without taking up space on the stage. This stage TV was set up on the wrong end of the stage, because it was set up in a position which prevents the curtains from being closed around the Chuck E. Cheese animatronic character like it used to back in the day when an employee was going to be on the floor in the Chuck E. Cheese costume. This means that children could see Chuck E. Cheese on stage and on the floor at the same time which destroys the old illusion that Chuck E. Cheese had left the stage and went out on the floor which you used to get in the old days. The costume worn by the employee on the floor used to match the animatronic on stage perfectly to contribute to the illusion. This place has the old Chuck E. Cheese on stage and the redesigned Chuck E.Cheese costume on the employee. The illusion is no more. The magic experience for the children is diminished. This location really needs to have their animatronics updated and refreshed. It needs for there to be a consistent Chuck E. Cheese branding throughout. And it needs to look back to the history of Chuck E. Cheese to get some of that retro cool which the children would love without even knowing that it was retro cool. If I were rating this location based upon nostalgia, I would have given it a perfect 5 stars, because Chuck E. Cheese used to be the coolest children's restaurant and entertainment experience. If I were rating this location based upon where it is in terms of its present remodel, I would give it 1 star, because the experience is just lacking. I am giving this place 3 stars, because I am going to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The employees clearly enthusiastically love to entertain children. They are still putting out good food. They are still going all out to make a children's birthday party a special event. And they are still smiling genuinely while doing it. This location really needs to be updated , this location really doesn't have a lot , like the other locations,the games are sort of out dated , most of the ride on games were out of service as well as the ticket munchers and the picture booths, it's also kind of tight in this place. I'm really surprised this location is still open. read more

Worst service ever. I showed my kids' report cards to get 15 tokens and the cashier said you had to buy something with it. So I bought a salad. If that wasn't bad enough they said we weren't allowed to share even though it was all you can eat and I couldnt finish two plates by my self. Normally my kids and I would share one salad. It also seemed that the workers were spying on us to make sure we didn't share. Then I noticed that at least three of the games were completely broken. It also seems that the tickets they give are less than they used to by about half and the token price is getting more expensive. YOU CAN FIND BETTER SERVICE AT A 1 STAR RESTAURANT! I am completely do not recommend this to anyone read more

I brought my son here and he totally loved it. I find Chuck E. Cheese's is a great place to take the kids to have fun. The food is pretty good, and watching my sons face light up when he saw Chucky was the best thing about this establishment. I defiantly will be bringing my son here again for his 6th birthday. read more
