I haven't seen a spa that can compete with the massage prices here -- no appointment was needed, I was able to just walk in on a Saturday -- most of the massage was really pleasant. I loved the hot rocks that they used and the leg and foot part of the massage was so nice, I could've fallen asleep during it -- the masseuse checked in two or three times to make sure I was alright with the pressure which I appreciated -- the room felt clean and private. Nice and warm, too -- I never felt over-exposed. The masseuse was great about keeping my body covered with a sheet when she wasn't actively massaging that spot. She also held the sheet up for me when I turned my body which added to the feeling of modesty/coverage What didn't work: -- this was my first massage so I didn't know what to expect. The masseuse didnt tell me how much to undress (I had to guess and hope it was okay) or ask any questions about areas that I'd like the massage focused on/areas that might be sensitive. Not a big deal but something that first timers should be aware of -- The masseuse was strong!! The pressure was intense and sometimes painful, but she reduced her pressure when I asked. I think someone who likes firm pressure or who has a lot of tension would really benefit! Overall, I had a positive experience and I'd go again now that I know what to expect. I think they may need to give a little more info or prep for first-timers but someone who knows what they want from a massage will have an awesome time here.
