Decided to check out this place after my friend furnished most of her apartment here. It's a regular big box mart, kind of messy looking. No Christmas trees, but I did find a value pack of Kleenex for $3.99. All the boxes were labeled in Thai and had Winnie the Pooh on them! How rad is that? Also picked up some bath and body stuff on the cheap, their selection is great. Didn't buy anything from their Godiva display though I wanted to. And this is totally not useful to most people, but the generic hair bleach they sell there is waaay better (and cheaper) than the Jolen I've been using. Score! Just avoid this place if you have a headache, yelling and crying kids galore. read more

I definetly love this store, mostly for their seasonal decorations at great prices. Also great for glassware/plates/placemats, spices, etc. I have a tendency to stay away from the furniture. Bought a coffee table from them once a couple of years back. Didn't last a year and the legs cracked. They recently added makeup and toiletries. I think that's a big mistake on their part. I don't think the prices are that much lower than say CVS or Walgreens, and they DON'T TAKE COUPONS!!! If you're going to carry toiletries, take the coupons!!! read more

We were the youngest people in here by about 30 years. If you're looking for lots of things, I think Christmas Tree Shop should always be your first stop because you never know what you're going to find and it will probably be the cheapest here. This store did not disapoint. read more

The prices are amazing. But the checkout is the worst! They literally have 16 registers and no matter what time I go in there is only 2 cashiers and 1 person at the service desk for Returns Only. I shop here very often but I have to allow an extra 15 minutes just for checkout time. read more

I was charged twice for one order. Paypal said I needed to call them to get one of the charges cancelled. I was on hold with the customer service number given to me by Paypal for the company for 1 hr and 23 min. When I tried the 'contact us' form on their site, even though I did choose a topic and resubmitted the form twice, I kept getting the error message "Please select a topic'. I finally called another customer service number that was listed on their website and was told they would address the charge, and it would be reveresed in 3-5 days (even though it was still only a pending transaction). I am not at all happy.Charged twice, horrible customer service, both on the phone and through the website...not okay. read more

If you're looking for the perfect little tchotchke, it's probably here. I found a little nautical box perfect for storing Q-tips in my semi-nautical-themed bathroom. And they have the best, THE BEST cheap curtain rods in the business. Seriously. You might want to use your own screws with them, but we put them up in our bedroom and living room and you wouldn't believe me if I said they were from there. Basically, if you want some seasonal kitsch, this is the place to go. Also, cinnamon brooms, always, at the entrance. Smells like love. read more

I go here for picture frames and to mix with the New Englandah mommies who run this place and call me "hun" when I chat with them at check-out. Just about everything is low quality, although I did get a handmade Polish Butter Dish that was pricey at 8$. The low prices give you consumer euphoria. Don't go crazy though, you can spend 80$ and not know wtf you just bought when you could of had an I-pod. read more

You have to come here. I didn't realize it wasn't just Christmas decorations. From the name-I assumed it was just holiday gifts and decorations. Then I went in-and realized I could buy great home decorations (non-seasonal and seasonal), cosmetics, & all kinds of home/personal care items. I stock up on their shampoo, conditioners, body washes, and their makeup aisle is great for the discount diva. My apartment is filled with items from their decorative aisles-check out their art and rugs-they have great stuff at an incredibly low cost. I always come here to buy my tide. They always have the tide fabreeze scented which I LOVE on sale for $5.99. I come here for all my last minute quick needs. Whether it's tooth paste, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. They are life savers (aka wallet savers). On the downside their lines are always long; and lights are always off on certain aisles with people at cashiers saying their "done for the day" LOL read more

It's the holiday season and I have been able to get my hands on wrapping paper, ribbons and such at very reasonable prices which I love. I was in the hunt for a dinner table for my mother-in-law and I found it here too. There was no one around the furniture section so I walked to the front of the store and approached the nearest employee and this woman had such a nasty attitude. Walked up to her, said hi, and she turned the other way and started walking away from me. I really needed that table and had no time to go to another store so I got in front of her, made sure she looked at me in the face and asked her to find someone to assist me with a table. She quickly grab the nearest employee, which it was a young girl and clearly wasn't going to be able to help me with the table, but thankfully the girl saw a male employee and he came by to help me. He was super nice and informed us of the process and everything. Even the cashier and the guys at the loading dock were way nicer than this woman which shouldn't be allowed near the public. I have never experience a rude employee in a business before so I don't know if I want to come back. read more

To my surprise this shop was not like any Christmas Ive ever seen. I must say I was more than excited to hit this one up considering I just moved into my new house this week. I thought I was going to walk out, list checked and pockets lighter. Instead I walked out hands free and nothing accomplished except for some laughs. Apparently I wasn't the only one. My roommate (with the same expectations) grabbed a basket with high hopes. Half way through the trip I turn around to see she had ditched it somewhere and resorted to the ultimate search for knockoff watermelon swedish fish.....with all this being said there's only one one success story from this highly anticipated trip. My sister fell in love with a new 2 for $1 decoration for her room that may end up taking up each window in the house. (which is pretty amazing) The sparkle in her eye convinced me this trip was somewhat successful forcing myself to add another star to the good ol Christmas tree shop. read more

I ordered Christmas decorations from them and all back orders were cancel without sending an email, leaving my tree half decorated until I called them and their excused was " but we didn't charge you" . I will never buy from them again. Poor service, To think they send me a broken angel initially and I over look it. I wish I can take away the one star...... read more

Pretty good. We went in for a pictures frame (solid black, $2.99, best picture frame deal ever), Christmas lights (out of season so they didn't have them and metal hangers (didn't have them). So we may not have found a couple of things we went in for but we did find some stuff we had been searching for in other places. Finally, finally we were able to cross off "lamp shade" from our list after looking in every store with a home department for months (its a tricky, small size). I picked up raspberry jam after forgetting to grab some about 10 grocery shopping trips in a row and we picked up shampoo for super cheap in their vast beauty department. Did it have everything I wanted? No, but it had one of the things and great deals on a couple of others I needed but hadn't expected to find. We went on a rainy Saturday, which I wouldn't recommend, but otherwise I would definitely go back for some more bargains. read more

Great bargains! I like to pick up greeting cards, gift bags, candles, and baskets. I always buy garden stuff, too - bulbs and seeds and really cute plant pots. We've bought curtains, floor mats, and cleaning supplies. They have a little bit of everything. I've found a few fun things in the food section too - cool varieties of popcorn, baking supplies, basic spices, and staples like salad dressing and marinara sauce. The checkout lines are often quite long but it's usually worth the wait because of the nice savings and treasure finds! read more

Awesome for odd and ends that are cheap! I always get comments on my huge bamboo tiki bar from there for $299 when the same one other places was $800-$1000 .
