Great character and reputation. Using for my handy projects! Local, licensed, reliable and friendly.

An estimate was requested, he gave one and we hired. He repaired the garage and primed the wood - waiting for rain to stop so it can be painted. read more

Fast, accurate estimates, on time, on budget, precise work done right the first time. Also, hands on leader who works to make sure the subcontractors have everything they need to complete the work. When finished he was also there making sure to leave the job site spotless upon completion. read more

Chris did an excellent job on my home project recently. He collaborated with the structural engineer and made the necessary reinforcements as specified. He called me back right away, came as promised and was very friendly. He got the job done in a timely fashion. His prices were reasonable and he cleaned up afterwards. Also, in this Covid pandemic period, he abided by all the recommended precautions. I highly recommend. read more

After reading his good reviews, I decided to attempt to contact Chris for some projects around the house. After three separate phone calls over a week and an email later, still no response. Too bad. ***Update with upgrade to 3 stars- Chris did reach out to me after **** **Will update again later if I move forward *** read more

I found Chris through Yelp and selected him by the simple fact that he is one of the few contracters out here that had actually posted pictures of doing the french drains. My choice proved very quickly to be the correct one. During our first phonecall he recommended find a floor refinishing firm by myself to avoid his percentage which he puts on top of items which he normally don't deal with. He was very honest and upfront with how he works and why. In the end we chose to have him deal with the floor refinishing guys. It's less of an hassel and he takes care of any and all issues that might arrise. On the subsequent meet up at our new home, he walked me through all the items that needed to be done and how he suggested doing it as well as indicating things we might consider fixing. Once we were in contract he was very cool with the fact that we couldn't afford going over budget and only brought up items if he thought it was worth considering. They worked very quickly and efficiently and did the work within the shorter time of 3-5 weeks. It also came out to be slightly cheaper even though we did make some extra changes which were not in contract. All in all, you can't go wrong with this guy. Very nice and kept us in the loop at all times. I will definitly use him again and recommend him to my friends. read more

I've used Chris now for several projects around my home. He's moved walls, added outlets, fixed wood and termite rot and replaced siding and sheet rock. What I love about Chris is he has great ideas and knows exactly what he's doing. All jobs have been done in a timely fashion and I've not had to call him back once for any issues with his work. If quality work and expertise are what you are looking for, Chris Turturici is your man. read more

I have used Chris several times on construction projects at my restaurants. He is extremely talented and versatile on many different areas on construction. He has helped me on plumbing, electrical and carpentry work. For each project he show up on time, gives an estimate, and stays with the job until it is completed to his very high level of satisfaction. This is not a quick fix type of guy. He will do the job right the first time; which is very refreshing given the large amount of contractors that will low bid a job and let you deal with the mess later on. I will use Chris on other projects, both at my home and my stores. He a very decent guy. read more

I have used Chris several times for construction projects from minor "fix it" to major bathroom remodel. Chris was very helpful with choosing products and fixtures his product knowledge is invaluable. Chris' work is impeccable, he does not compromise on quality for time or cost. That being said, he is on time, clean and keeps you informed on progress throughout the job. It is quite refreshing to work with such a professional who takes pride in his work and is as passionate about his job as he is about the satisfaction of his customers. We will definitely use Chris for any and every project in our home. read more

Chris recently renovated our back patio including major electrical, structural, and concrete upgrades. His attention to detail throughout the 3-month process ensured a safe and smooth project. Prior to breaking ground, he bird-dogged the details to finalize permits and structural designs during COVID restrictions. Chris was on site everyday to oversee sub-contractor projects. All his sub-contractors were friendly and responsible, working smoothly as a team; always a good sign. He also had a good relationship with the city inspector to ensure everything was completed to code. We now have an upgraded electrical sub-panel, channel drain, reinforced garage foundation, security, and a gorgeous back patio with pergola, planter, and stamped, tinted concrete patio. The ironwood and frosted glass privacy fence has super cool, dimmable LED lights. Construction materials and tools were tidied up on a daily basis and the job site attracted positive comments from neighbors. He is easy to work with and wants the job done right. Yes, construction in the Bay Area is expensive, but you want it done right. read more

This guy is *extremely* expensive. For example, he quoted 30k for a tiny bathroom remodeling while many others gave a quote for 5k-8k. Don't fall into the trap of "you get what you pay for". Do a lot of research and get the cheap and best. read more

Chris and crew demolished and rebuilt our back patio and I couldn't be happier with the work done. They were friendly, quick working, non-intrusive and very polite. I plan on getting them back for more work and I highly recommend going with them for your construction needs. read more

We recently used Chris for some foundation work on our home, and to replace our water heater. He worked with my husband and the structural engineer to find the right solution to shore up our house, and was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. Once the work began, Chris and his crew were here every day and completed the work in a timely fashion. Everything passed permit inspections with no problems. I would highly recommend Chris for all your construction needs. read more

I called Chris after seeing him in Yelp. He came out quickly without charging me any consult fee as mentioned in a previous less than glowing review. He carefully listened to my description of my job which is to demo a 70s balcony due to dry rot/termites and replace siding along the back of my house which was recommended by termite company. While the termite company quoted me construction work on the house, I wanted to consult a contractor. He provided a quote in a timely manner which matched the ballpark figure I asked him for initially. We are closing up a sliding glass door and replacing with a window approximately the same width. I asked him to provide a window allowance, as I might want a different window. When I emailed him for a picture of the window he specified, he sent me a direct link to the product which included pricing. I was on the fence as to demolishing the deck or keeping, and he advised me a ballpark mentioning drawings, permits, etc. I'm very happy that he didn't advise against permits as many do (wink, wink). I'm still in the process of interviewing contractors because that's what I do on a big job, but he is on my short list. So, I have to say impressive first meeting. read more

We brought Chris in to help in our home renovations. This included moving windows, re-wiring electricity, and wall construction. His quality of work was excellent and made the task at hand much less stressful. His prices were fair. Chris was always prompt and completed the job in the time he estimated (a rarity in this field from other experiences). I would HIGHLY recommend his services for your home construction needs. read more

Just called several contractors and described exactly what I wanted to get done - vapor lock, earthquake braces and general advice. Chris was the only one who quoted me three hundred minimum fee just to come out and advise me on what could be done. No report, just verbal advice. And no, it's not adjustable against any future work. He must be really good, and in demand, to charge that much money without any tangible deliverable. Make sure you have the stomach for someone that expensive. read more

Chris is wonderful! He came over to give us an estimate on our bathroom tile floor, and he noticed that the shower we had just put in was not installed correctly or up to code. He was kind enough to stay at our house while the shower people came to inspect our shower which gave me so much comfort. He was very nice, experienced and honest. We are getting our shower completely redone thanks to him. We owe him a lot of thanks and will definitely use his expertise in the future. read more

Chris was super helpful. I gave him a call and he was able to immediately come over to my house as I requested. I asked him to listen to a few of my ideas for remodeling and he gave a straightforward ballpark estimate and told me that the renovations probably wouldn't be recouped by the increase in property value. Instead of trying to push me in to giving him my business, he was honest, even if it meant that it didn't result in any money for him. He also didn't request any payment for the advice. Nice guy and if I need construction help in the future, I know who I'm going to! read more

We hired Chris for our master bath remodel and he was awesome! I am all about hiring local and Chris grew up in San Carlos. From the first time I met him he was on-time, even early for every meeting. What contractor does that? He is very personal, professional and well connected in the business. He had great recommendations for granite, marble, fixtures, cabinets, etc. He worked with our budget and provided timely updates as to where we were with the project/budget. The project came in at budget and within the timeline discussed. My biggest concern was having someone in my house for several weeks, but Chris almost became part of the family. Additionally all his subs were fantastic. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. We love our bathroom!! read more

I understand people need to make a living. What I don't understand is how someone can quote a ridiculously outrageous price without having even set foot in the actual property. Needless to say Chris was not the right choice for us. Asking first about how much money you got not very professional either in my opinion. read more

I needed 4 windows (not retro-fit) installed in my house since I currently had aluminum sliders that were letting moisture and a draft in. Since there are so many construction companies these days struggling to find work, I had a wide selection to choose from. I received 5 different bids for this project and Chris clearly had the most knowledge and offered a very competitive price. All the other candidates for the job were looking to go the cheap route and supply retrofit windows, but Chris was aware there could and probably will be problems down the road with the windows not sealing correctly. Needless to say, Chris got it done in 1 1/2 days...showed up on time and was very easy to deal with. I will be using him again for some smaller and larger projects in the future read more

Wow Chris and his crew did an awsome job! The basement of my father's house in Daly City had a problem with water coming in through the wall and foundation. Over the years this had gotten progressively worse with big pools of water forming on the floor and running out the garage door. Chris came out, looked over the job and took the time to explain everything that would have to be done to resolve the issue. We realized the job had to be done right the first time. Chris and his crew ended up installing a french drain system and new patio. My father was very impressed with Chris and his crew. Chris and crew were able to start right away and were on time and on budget. According to my dad Chris and his crew are real good guys. If we ever need a contractor again Chris will be the one we would call. read more

We had never done a major remodel before so we interviewed a number of contractors before deciding to go with Chris. He explained everything to us along the way and offered suggestions and guidance on how to make our master bath and bedroom remodel be successful. There were only a couple of change orders needed and Chris remained very mindful of our budget. He or his crews showed up on time in the morning and put in a full days work. They cleaned up after themselves and kept disruptions in the house to a minimum. Chris did a good job in scheduling and monitoring electricians, plumbers, dry wallers, tile workers, painters, closet workers and glass installers. He would regularly update us as to the progress of the remodel and his work hit the mark on the estimated 6-8 weeks to complete the job. read more

I would highly recommend Chris for home repairs. He helped us with a shower glass replacement and a bathroom sink repair. In both instances he was responsive to our needs. He worked with our work schedule and that was very helpful for getting the jobs completed timely. We will definitely contact Chris again for future home repairs. read more

I would highly recommend Chris Turturici for any home remodeling project you may have. We have done many projects in our home and this was by far the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. Chris is first and foremost about customer service and that is what you will get. He kept within budget and the project was finished on time. For our future home projects we will call Chris Turturici first. read more

Chris recently completed a rather large dry rot repair job on our house. He also replaced a 6 ft by 5 ft window in our dining room that was leaking. He did a beautiful job on everything. But, what I was most impressed with was the framing on the inside of the house for the window. I didn't realize what an awful job the installers had done until he redid it. I love the work. Very professional and kept us informed at all times as to when he would be over and what was happening. Thanks Chris. I'll be sure to call anytime we need something done. Diane Phillips read more

Chris recently did a complete reno of my bathroom. Not an easy feat as its a condo bathroom, which brings a lot of rules and red tape with it. However, Chris was awesome! His estimate was competitive, and he was very honest and professional ...I've heard a lot of horror stories from other people about hiring contractors, but I trusted Chris from the start, and with good reason. Chris takes pride in his work, and it shows. He pays close attention to detail making sure everything is done the best it can be...I even overheard the inspector paying him big compliments on the quality of his work. Throughout the process we were in frequent contact, and he constantly kept me informed of what to expect with the following steps. The bathroom was finished well within the time estimate, and within my budget. The bathroom looks fantastic! I would absolutely use him again. If you are looking to have some work done, CALL CHRIS.....he does excellent work...you won't be disappointed! read more
