Our server was extremely polite and stayed on top of our drinks and brought everything out fresh and hot. Appetizer was the cheese curds.. they were delicious!! Served with marinara .. I love pepper jam w cheese curds but the marinara was so delicious. Husband ordered a 2 hotdog combo and he loved it. The fries were great and hotdogs were grilled or fried and that's the best way to have them. A little too much topping la but he scraped some off so it was fine. I had the fish and chips. It was a HUGE PORTION. I could only eat 1 small piece. Very tasty and again fries were great. No pic but we actually had dessert.. we did the peanut butter pie and it was a nice size. My husband and I were able to share it . I definitely recommend.

They have an extensive selection of various spirits displayed behind the bar. There were various tables including some cute uniquely shaped ones for larger parties and the TV's were playing live games. There's also seating outfitted which looked a bit more spacious than the indoor seating. We visitors on Monday night so just in time for Bingo! It was fun!! I enjoyed seeing all the families with little come out and have fun. There's also merch for purchase. Our server was attentive despite it being crowded. The food: the fried pickles were perfect. I had the patty melt and fries it was unflavirful but had all the fixings. My son had the chicken strips and fries; which he said were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy. The drinks were good and had just enough alcohol. Overall engage a great time and will be back to try different things in the menu. Definitely check this place out! Especially if you have young ones and want to have them participate in bingo! Its fun! It's conveniently located in the Public shopping center and I believe they have various activities on other nights. Don't quote me on that as I can only attest to bingo!

Having worked in the restaurant industry, a Sysco logo is a big red flag. They do food service for hospitals, colleges, senior living and assisted living homes, and basic restaurants. They're huge which means their food is in a lot of places so it all tastes the same. Essentially it's a lot of prepared foods that get reheated. Kind of a disappointment. I visit family in the area regularly and had a bit of a break so wanted a sandwich for lunch. I started to go to the new Greek place but didn't want to get caught in traffic so went to the Charleston Sports Pub instead. The menu had a selection of wings, burgers, nachos, salads, tacos, a few sandwiches and chicken fingers. There were some shrimp dishes but I know the shrimp is probably frozen from Sysco. I ordered a wedge salad and a chicken sandwich special to go. The sandwich came with fried, which I didn't eat. Everything tasted fine. Nothing special but it met the requirements of food. I was starving since I hadn't watered and it was late afternoon. Don't think I'd come back here again except maybe to have drinks. There are other restaurants in the area that probably have better food for the price.

If one were to wonder about off of W 2nd St and S Cedar St one might find an "England like" side…read morestreet of laid brick in a narrow claustrophobic corridor. Reminiscent of Victorian times in many European cities this side street happens to pass by a little cozy pub named O'lacy's. The outside is unassuming with the aqua blue painted brick façade with wood and green (for the Irish!) accents. Open up the doors and one is hit with decades of ground in beer smell, that's a good thing and elevates the authenticity in my book! Inside the worn wooden floor holds up a weathered bar that runs almost the entirety of the pub while the other side has most of the mismatched sofas, love seats and wooden chairs. The aqua walls have various pub staples like neon lights, beer mirrors and pictures. It's a very comfy atmosphere, laid back with notes of a partially underground pub in Ireland. Be warned now, the website said there would be live music and there wasn't and the bartender admitted no one was scheduled. Moreover, I read somewhere they had food and they do not. I'm just letting everyone know they should call first to ensure whatever website info is confirmed. The one time I stopped by, there was one bartender trying to support the regular patrons as well as an impromptu bachelorette party pop-in. She did the best she could but she was really behind, throw in the fact I had drunk ladies cutting in line for their shots irritated me but I digress. The drinks were a little slow as expected but they were priced fairly. I only stayed one round which was at roughly 7:30 and left to find some live music. I'm not sure why but besides one bar in Summerville, the nightlife is dead. That said O'lacys is a cool place to hang out and unwind after a long day. I'm not sure about the late, late night life as I left but when I was there it was ok. The prices are fair and the drinks are standard but don't expect a huge list of creative cocktails. I'm not sure if I'll be back as I have other priorities but don't let that stop you from stopping by, it's a slower vibe which many can appreciate.

The restaurant is roomy and decorated with both English staples and salutes to local first responders. Unlike its originator they cook their fish to order so there may be a slight wait, but it is very much worth it. When I go, I like to order the Tennet's lager which is smooth and crispy and full of flavor. Instead of chips we tried the Manchester Special which are their famous chips with gravy and cheese. The gravy was rich and savory with plenty of ooey gooey cheese. Perfect on a cold winter's day! We tried the Battered Sausage which had a large smokey sausage fried golden brown. It was ok but I wished the sausage was spicier but that's just me. I have never had a Doner Kebob, but I discovered that it is basically a gyro. Now I went with the standard lamb with onions, lettuce, and tomatoes with a feta spread and tzatziki sauce, but you could also order different sauces and toppings. All in all, a pretty decent gyro with lots of meat. Finally, you can't come here and not try the fish. Nicely battered and cooked to a perfect golden brown this filet really hit the spot. We may be losing Park Circle but at least Codfather lives on in the Nexton area!

Prices felt very reasonable for the amount of food we received, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back next time we're craving fish & chips.
