Good times at 52. Friendly Staff, Great food, Reasonable pricing. Great crowd to meet someone new.

I've been coming here a year now. Great Bar. Food is great. Clean kitchen very professional. Staff is Wonderful. Bar Tenders are beautiful, and Generous. Owners will ensure everyone is Happy, and having a good time. They always have somekind of Special or Deal of the Day. Only place I know of to get a decent late night meal.

Bartenders are friendly but the crowd can be intimidating. Beer was cold and wings was good. Would do a take out next time.

Having worked in the restaurant industry, a Sysco logo is a big red flag. They do food service for hospitals, colleges, senior living and assisted living homes, and basic restaurants. They're huge which means their food is in a lot of places so it all tastes the same. Essentially it's a lot of prepared foods that get reheated. Kind of a disappointment. I visit family in the area regularly and had a bit of a break so wanted a sandwich for lunch. I started to go to the new Greek place but didn't want to get caught in traffic so went to the Charleston Sports Pub instead. The menu had a selection of wings, burgers, nachos, salads, tacos, a few sandwiches and chicken fingers. There were some shrimp dishes but I know the shrimp is probably frozen from Sysco. I ordered a wedge salad and a chicken sandwich special to go. The sandwich came with fried, which I didn't eat. Everything tasted fine. Nothing special but it met the requirements of food. I was starving since I hadn't watered and it was late afternoon. Don't think I'd come back here again except maybe to have drinks. There are other restaurants in the area that probably have better food for the price.

Just by looking at them they were cooked very well, crispy on the outside and flavorful but glistening with moisture on the inside. Nothing on the menu appealed to me personally, so I stuck with my drink. Our bartender was so sweet though. I wish I knew her name. She provided us with plenty of recommendations for things to do in the area and checked on us multiple times. Just overall good demeanor I'd come back here for a beer and a game.

Walking up it doesn't seem that big but once you go in, it has a lot more space than I anticipated. Moreover, its very clean with a well-stocked bar and enough wait staff to maintain quick turnarounds for food and drinks. That said my waitress was a bit slow and odd but she was nice. As for the food the burger was pretty good. I noticed it wasn't overcooked while a little under seasoned. The toppings of lettuce and tomato were fresh and the fries.... they were fries, nothing special. I absolutely loved the pretzel as it was moist and chewy with nice chunks of salt clinging to dear life on the pretzel. I'm not sure about the sauces as the only sauce I like is a beer cheese sauce. I guess the objective is to buy a beer to enjoy with the pretzel? Regardless the queso and honey mustard sauces where average. I'd tweak this, but that's just me. As for the beverages, they were fine. My bourbon and lime was good and the chilled Tito's shots were perfect while being none to costly. As for the ambiance, there are literally tvs of all sizes everywhere. I don't believe there's a seat in the house that doesn't have a good view and sports were on everywhere. Also the people were very nice and my table made friends with the table next to us, giving it that home town feel. Overall I didn't try much on the menu, but the food I did try was decent, but not great. Then again, this is a pub so focus on the drinks and friends while watching sports and everything will be alright. I'll be back one day as I think this is a decent place to stop by for some suds after a hard day's work.

I normally dislike 1/2 lb burgers, they are too much and taste like boring slabs of tasteless meat but this one was pretty decent. The bacon was great but it needed more than the two strips I got. I liked the fries a ton and I am picky about fries. The thing keeping this out of five stars is the pricing. A $17 burger in Summerville is absurd. They want $13 for a pretzel with cheese. This is just way too much money. I have had better burgers for much less in Summerville, and these are King Street prices. If they drop a few bucks off this meal, it's a great place to go. J.Ja

Although I have been to waffle House, which I'm sure I reviewed prior. I came in around supper time, 6:00 p.m. or so, and it was probably at 75% capacity. I sat at the bar, after being welcomed by a local fully equipped with his own Skynyrd beer koozie!! Hahaha! They have karaoke, and they karaoke DJ spinning all the good country hits, literally emulating exactly what I play at home. Anyhow, the local that pulled my chair out essentially, told me that the "bartender sucked" But in good ole down home local fashion, she clapped right back, and obviously he was joking cuz she is phenomenal. Despite having a completely full bar, and waiting tables, she acknowledged me almost immediately. Even sat down in the bar stool next to me to take my order and chit chat and go over the menu with me. I think her name was Alicia, but regardless she was outstanding! I ordered hot wings and lemon pepper wings. They came out really fast, really hot, and really good. I kind of wish I had room to order another entree, but it filled me up. As I waited for my food, I was suddenly engulfed by an entire group of locals. Now this place, is the mature crowd, and they were so nice they sort of took me under their wing! This is the epitome of down south hospitality. I've been holding out on coming to this place for a few years now, and looking back, I wish I would have came a lot sooner. I hate using the term "vibe", But this is totally my vibe. Great food, great service, great locals, laid back atmosphere with music playing and karaoke? You just can't beat it. I have responsibilities, so I had to leave really early, but rest assured, I will definitely be back. I mean who else is going to sing Jason Aldean on the karaoke machine? Thank you skynyrd's, thank you Alicia (I hope I remembered your name right), such a great experience and I'm sorry I had to cut it short! I was immediately met outside by a child advocate, apparently, trying to raise money for poor children with backpacks and toys and whatnot. She was actually really nice, but probably not the best place to set up shop, and try to take advantage of people who have over consumed on their way out. Sort of surprised that the owner/management let that happen right out front their doors. So after buying a $74 backpack for a needy child, apparently, I made my way in through the double doors. There was a younger hostess and I asked her if I could sit at the bar. She was super soft-spoken and hard to understand, but I could understand her gestures when she nodded "yes". Made my way to the bar, and had a seat. All they were playing was some lame a** soccer, and I think tennis? I asked my bartender if this is what they normally play, and she told me it's a sports bar, and they always play all sports. Well, I don't watch sports, it's too woke, but in that sense if there's no contact, it's not a sport. So essentially I was watching two different versions of sissy ball. I told her, or rather asked about their viewing schedule, and I noticed horse racing on a TV across the restaurant, and she was nice enough to put it on one of the TVs behind the bar, so once again after a brief period, I was able to reacquire remasculation. Pfff "sports".. Anyways, her name was Taylor. And she's one tough chick. Super down to earth, good with banter, quick witted, and she can dish some ish out if she needs to. Everything that makes a strong bartender. While on that note, the other two bartenders that helped me in between were Nadyne and Kaitlyn. I only browsed through a few of these reviews, But I'm telling you, they are on their A game. They all function cohesively as a unit, constantly pay attention, and constantly check on their clientele. Sort of a lost art these days. The locals there are pretty cool also. But after all this is the south, what do you really expect? That's why I stay in this area! So let's get to the food. If you follow my reviews you know I'm on a no-carb kick again, so I ordered the "28 day aged Ribeye".... If you know me, and you know how and what I cook, grill and smoke, you would know that I'm on top of my game. Before I go any further I had two different bartenders ask me if I wanted A1 steak sauce or anything, and my reply was "Well, I sure as hell hope not". If you're buying a ribeye, aged or not, you shouldn't need anything extra as far as seasoning and flavor goes. Is it 28 days aged? I want to say I doubt it. Did it need more seasoning, and should I have taken the advice of two different bartenders of getting steak sauce? Probably so. But I have a solemn oath to beef, that I will not desecrate it in any type of sauce, no matter how it's seasoned. That being said, it wasn't seasoned the best. I actually glanced around the bar for salt and pepper but didn't see any, but I just ate it. For a ribeye, it wasn't super tender, so I tried cutting it long wise to make it more tender which actually helped a bit. But this is a sports bar, not a steakhouse, so what do you really expect? It wasn't horrible, but I can't wait to have a real ribeye or prime rib from an actual steakhouse. It came with mushrooms, and it was supposed to come with potatoes, but like I said, carbs. But Taylor offered me options for different sides, so I went with the Caesar salad and broccoli. I kept the menu in case I wanted to order some wings to go, and I didn't, and damn it I wish I did. Because I'm already hungry, so trust your gut and get some food to go! Place was pretty clean, nice setup, all the staff were top notch, even the bathroom was nice. I would definitely absolutely go there again the next time I'm here, but I would probably order wings instead of the steak. It did have nice grill marks though! All in all, great experience, I left satisfied, and the staff here really does make sure your experience is exactly what you want. Solid four stars for this place. Hope to see y'all again! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. On the way we saw the sign for BJs and thought "why not", let's check it out. A little off the beaten path but we found it. The building had an open sign so we popped in, not realizing we opened the door to a small general store. When we asked the nice lady behind the counter about the lounge, she said "give me just a moment and come on over to the door next over." Well heck, it was early on a hot weekday but we were not disappointed. Shirley greeted us at her and her husband's lounge with cold drinks, snacks, and friendly conversation. What a treat! It reminded me of why I love South Carolina. Their lounge has a wonderful old jukebox, sports memorabilia, and an assortment of things to drink, of course. It was a pleasant surprise and we were so glad to have found the place. Me and my nephew won't forget the warm-hearted conversation with Shirley and I guarantee we'll be back.
