The owner, Gary, came out later that afternoon and after diagnosing the problem, made me aware that the motor on the condensing unit was shot and needed to be replaced. It was late in the afternoon and Gary said he would make some calls in the morning to see if he could locate a motor. The next day around 10:00am, Gary called and said he had located one and would be out later that day to replace the motor. True to his word, he showed up a few hours later and replaced the motor. Considering that the next day the temp went up to 92, I can't help think how fortunate I was to take my friend's recommendation to call GWB. I called Rostron and was advised a technician would be there between 9 and 10 that morning. But, at 8:10 Evan called and said he would there in 10 minutes. He arrived and proceeded to diagnose the problem with our older system. He spent some time working all aspects of the unit and discovered the problem was in the part of the system removing water from the humidifier.
