The baked goods I've tried are, unfortunately, underwhelming. I typically go for their gluten free options and have found them to have textures that are too grainy with flavors on the bland side. The cookies are fine, the gluten free scones are quite bad--flavorless, super dense and hard, not crumbly, kinda sticky. This was the only baked good I've ever tossed. I have yet to try their pies or cakes. Their regular cookies are pretty good but are a bit pricey for the size. Staff: The staff seem a little awkward and shy. I prefer a friendly customer experience. I've only had one visit here where the staff made an attempt at small talk. Usually they stay out of sight. Someone else might like this, it's just not for me. Final thoughts: I'm giving Amaya's 3 stars not because I think they've necessarily earned them, but bc I want them to succeed and I've only been here 4 or 5 times so I don't have a robust experience sample.
