Kevin, my apologies to you and your staff because this update is long overdue! Let's be honest. My initial review was written shortly after they had opened and, as anyone knows who has taken on a new venture, sometimes it just takes some time to work out the kinks. Anyway, Kevin contacted me to tell me that they had made some improvements and invited me to come give them another shot. He even paid for our dinner. My second experience was totally different! The service was great and the food was cooked just how I like it, with nice fresh veggies. In fact, I enjoyed my meal so much that I even came back the next day for lunch! I've been back a few other times as well. Their menu is extensive, their prices are very reasonable (with excellent specials), their cabbage soup is super delicious, they will honor your special requests and they aim to please! If it's not to your liking they will do their best to make it right! With that type of committment to pleasing the customer, I highly recommend that you give Chopstix a try! Tell them that Lisa A. sent you :). read more

Chopstix - Chicken with vegetables made with Hunan sauce. Yum! - Chinese Near Me - Los Fresnos, Texas

New ower! It used to be mu h better. The quality and prices need adjusting. I ordered the garlic hunan beef bowl and I'm pretty sure I was over charged. I payed 28.99 for this bowl and a veggie spring roll that was mushy and barely had any filling. Also the beef was very chewy and tasted sour, the veggies had no sauce and lacked flavor. I took pic with my hand next to the bowl to show how small this plate was.I didn't even eat it, it was so bad. I should have gone to China Star in Harlingen by my work or the Konami grill on SPI near my house... much better quality & pricing read more

Chopstix - Garlic hunan beef with veggies. 23$ for veggies & rice and extra for the beef. 28.99 for this and a soggy veggies spring roll - Chinese Near Me - Los Fresnos, Texas

Price for soup $20!!! I thought we'd give it a chance and it was not $20 good. Maybe $5.00 meh so sad

The service was good, but unfortunately, the food was overpriced for the quality. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken, and it tasted nothing like what I expected. I've had Kung Pao chicken at several different restaurants, so I'm familiar with how it should taste, and this just wasn't it. The egg drop soup was good, but unfortunately, none of the meals in our group were particularly enjoyable. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the food. read more

Would be nice for them to be open until their posted closing time. Closes at 10pm on Friday Night, Stopped by at 9:20pm for dinner and the "Open" Sign was turned off, a "Sorry we're closed" sign was posted on their door. read more

Food was good and so was the service . We always pick up but this time we dined in. Nice atmosphere and very clean.

Our soup came out first, and it was congealed. They had to take back and reheat. Then our food came out and it was room temperature. Im like this is your business... your in the business of HOT food. Disappointing read more

Food I ordered was delicious. The service was good too, considering we went in 30 min before close(ooops). read more

Chopstix - chicken stick noodles - Chinese Near Me - Los Fresnos, Texas

Quick and easy Chinese food! You get a lot of bang for your buck! Compares a bit higher than mall Chinese food--my favorite!

If you have a craving for chinese that has to be fulfilled and don't want to drive to Harlingen or brownsville, then ok. I'm picky though. Generally I'm not enthusiastic about chinese in the valley. These guys compared to the others near by, aren't terrible. I'm just used to way better. Example; the general tso's sauce is overly sweet and greasy. same with the lobster sauce. read more

Went to have dinner with my wife and had the sweet n sour chicken plate. About an hour later I became violently ill. I had fever and stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea for two days. I decided to not complain but I will never go back again. I do not recommend this place! read more

The service here stinks. Think those old westerns where you walk in and everyone stops what they are doing, looks up at you, and then goes back to what they were doing. You find a seat and wait on waitstaff to bring you a menu. Meanwhile who I assume is the owner is at the register looking at/ for someone to help his patrons. Beverages are served in small glasses almost the size of a lowball. They serve tea with a teaspoon but no sugar at the tables. First Chinese place where I don't see not one bottle of soy sauce on the tables. If you need to cure a Chinese jones this is the place. The food isn't all that bad. But if yiu really want to impress someone keep driving somewhere out of the RGV. read more

Have ordered takeout twice and used their los Fresno's drive through! Ready quick, good food and excellent value!

This place probably has the best tasting Chinese in Los Fresnos. The place is always clean, the food prices are affordable/ reasonable, and the service is friendly. I'd recommend this place for vegetarian options as well! read more

This is my favorite Chinese food place in the area. Whenever I go there aren't very many people, so the wait time isn't bad. They changed the menu not too long ago and added some new things which, in my opinion, is a great thing. I recommend the rice stick noodles with shrimp. Yum! read more

Fast and friendly service. The food was good but the egg roll had a strange pre packaged flavor. I didn't eat it, but I enjoyed my Sweet and Sour chicken and cabbage soup. This is a great place to have a quick Sunday lunch. read more
