Where to begin......beef on a stick and chicken on a stick apps....both overcooked so bad that I can only assume the chef went outside for a smoke break while they were submerged in old cooking oil. 1 bite of each and into the trash. Kung Pao Chicken - I asked for white meat and just peanuts and scallions. I was told "no" because that would require "too much chicken" in the dish if he couldn't load it up with other veggies. We settled on just onions. It was like eating chicken in soy sauce water. No flavor, chicken was chewy and gross. Into the trash. The pan fried dumplings - store bought dumplings that were cheap and had no flavor. At least these were edible, but I could only manage 3 before they too went into the garbage. Bad enough so far? Here's the worst part. Hot and Sour Soup - was so thick and coagulated you could literally cut it with a knife. And it was hot, making it even more disgusting. My son tried it and immediately got up to spit it out and go brush his teeth. I literally spooned some out and it sat in my bowl like it was a flan. I've never seen anything like it. Straight to the trash. And finally, you can't mess up fried rice, right? WRONG. We opened the container and the rice had a grey color I've never seen in food before. See attached picture. I studied it up close because I was so curious how another human would "cook" that and send it out the door with a customer. I refused to even try a bite it was so nasty. How this place remains open is a mystery. This was top 3 worst dining experiences ever. Shame shame China Chef.

And they didn't put any soy sauce, sweet-and-sour, hot mustard, duck sauce in the bag to help with the flavoring at all, and now that I think about it, no Fortune cookies! We won't be going back!!

Outstanding meal last night (Sunday)…read more Started with a cup of Tom yum soup with veggies. The broth (medium heat) was very flavorful and the soup had lots of good, well cooked (not mushy and not too hard) veggies. I had a special seasonal item - Heavenly Salad - billed as addictive and delicious. When it was served, it looked like a simple fruit salad. But it was truly delicious. The sweetness of the fruit combined with spiciness added to the juice, the cherry tomatoes. Everything blended together. The server said this is something served in her home town in Thailand. Really good. Light (mostly fruit), but very filling. Also includes nuts. My partner had the drunken noodles (medium spice) with pork. Very successful dish. Delicious. Huge portion. We also got a side of broccoli. I thought the broccoli was undercooked and was kind of "meh". My partner thought it was good. The service was very good and the place is bright and comfortable.

The server didn't know about specials that are offered on line. Cocktails were good, appetizers were hits and misses as well as entrees. It was the entrees where I have a problem; I orders the scallops ( had them last time and they were fabulous), this time over cooked and rubbery. There was a chicken dish thats pretty common , which was so dry but the cinnamon chicken was more tender. ( I believe one dish had breast the other was thighs, that explains the dryness). The restaurant is decorated nicely and maybe I'll be giving it another try...just not sure.

This place is a ramen heaven, a pearl diamond located in Rohoboth Beach, Delaware! First, the…read morerestaurant's atmosphere is cozy and wonderfully decorated. It has the look and feeling that you are in Japan and not in a cheap, tourist way. The location is really neat, clean, and sanitary. Additionally, they went the next step as we were seated in a table with chairs but the chairs all had soft, pillow cushions, providing extra comfort while dining. I love that you can see the kitchen while they cook as the aromas of the delicious ramen are being prepared. If you see the bathroom there, do not be alarmed to see that their toilet has a bidet set-up. They also have toilet paper if you have never used a bidet before. Now to the best part, the food! There are two dishes I highly recommend: Bulgogi Ramen and the chicken Katsu with the bulgogi rice bowl a good follow-up. The ramen is delicious with the meat being tender, flavorful and the sweet bulgogi taste seeps into the broth, adding extra flavor. The noodles taste fresh and hand-made as well! The kimchi provides a nice counterbalance to the sweetness of the meat and broth. The bulgogi rice bowl is good too for you do not want ramen for the day. However, the chicken katsu is delicious!!!! The chicken is so crispy that you can hear the crunch sound as you bite into it. It is cooked to perfect, thin, and uniform throughout. The rice is piping hot, cooked to perfection, and a lot is provided. The cabbage provided is a nice, refreshing counterbalance to the richness of the katsu and rice. Lastly, get a boba tea drink. The flavors are delicious like the lychee and the boba is not chewy that you will have to bite and bite. One bite and it dissolves in your mouth and is in your stomach. Lastly, the service. Gabriel was phenomenal! He was attentive, gave great recommendations, and made my family and I feel welcomed like we were eating at his house. He was funny, interactive, and accommodating. Overall, great server. Kevin (the host ) was phenomenal as well. He was so humble to come by and serve us our food. He never left us unattended. Last but not least, John (the owner) is hands down one of the best owners of a restaurant I have seen. He is kind, funny, compassionate, and took his time to interact with and talk to all the patrons. He made you feel like family, asking my family and I our names and making great small talk. He was open to talking about himself and his inspiration about his restaurant even when the place was about to close. Owners who stay late near closing time on a Sunday evening, not many do that. Living in Virginia, I will miss this place. Their food is one of the best that I have had and I will be counting down the days I can come back to Rohoboth Beach to bathe in their ramen and chomp into the katsu once again!

We were captivated by the magnitude of terrific reviews Miyagi got, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was unassuming, located in a small plaza next-door to the Safeway grocery store. When we walk through the door, we were immediately greeted into an authentically Asian atmosphere. The restaurant was long and narrow with the kitchen visible to guests. We were seated at a cozy booth. We started with an order of the purple, sweet potato fries, and they were delicious--hot and fresh, tempura style. Each of us ordered a different Ramen bowl. The portions were healthy. The bowls were like a picture in a magazine, so colorful and varied. Unable to finish our entire bowls, we asked for takeout containers. When the server returned, he clearly directed us to separate the noodles and the broth. His attention and concern was impressive. Miyagi is a must in Rehoboth Beach. Once you're tired of eating crabs, stop by for a remarkable bowl of soup!
