We use to love coming here the food is great but yesterday they messed up our to go. we got stuff that was cheaper then we paid for it wasn't a big deal I called and they said they would give us the stuff we ordered the next day I came in today to pick it up and it was still no big deal. Ordered 2 Ramen through Uber Eats... a Beef and Chicken Ramen and a Pork and Chicken Ramen. They sent one Ramen that was Shrimp and other meats. When I called them to inform them of the issue, the only response they had was to call Uber and sort it out through them. No apologies for messing up the order. When I moved here from California, I thought my days of eating Pho were over- but then I found Chopsticks!!! They are a Korean owned sushi restaurant that also serves Pho!! Even though the Pho is expensive ($9/bowl) I am just happy that it exists. The broth of the Pho is excellent and it taste pretty authentic. However, my one gripe is there is probably less than one decent slice of beef in their and the meatballs are sliced so thin that its almost transparent. I use to like this place because sushi are large in size. However i would not reccomend dining here. My last visit a roach was eating away on my boyfriend's salad. This was brought to the attention of the owner...she then grabbed plate and said "oh i don't know wha tthat is"....she took the plate from teh table and acted as though she had stomped on teh roach...however I watched the roach jump off the plate and onto the table. This is a great pho restaurant. The beef pho has great flavor! The price isn't bad either. The beef, seafood, and chicken pho are all $6.99/each. Pho Saigon on Rancier has more Vietnamese food options but the taste isn't as good and they are a bit more expensive. This place used to be a Vietnamese restaurant last year. I guess the owner changed and now it's a Japanese/Korean/Vietnamese restaurant. Of the three with more emphasis on the japanese food b/c they are heavy on their sushi and their rolls. I tried their Pho today b/c I wanted something quick. Here is what i want to say. Their service is pretty awesome. They are fast and friendly b/c it seems family owned. Their pho??? well it's just simple beef or chicken. they don't go in to the separate types of Pho. They give you sprouts with the pho but... surprisingly no basil. Instead they give you cilantro. Different. BUt over all I think their price is reasonable and it's a place I would go again. read more

I used to love this place but haven't been in a few months. I ate there last night and sad to say I will never eat there again. My wife and I order two different rolls and covered in the same sauce. I order the calamari roll and had to search for calamari in it and only found three small over cooked pieces. My wife ordered the shrimp tempura roll with the same results. They were both stuffed full of imitation crab meat as well so they were basically the same rolls. How ever the tempura shrimp and fried dumplings we ordered as an appetizer were good, but I imagine they were just sitting in the freezer before hand. All in all go some where else. read more

Extremely expensive. However, the sushi comes out very pretty and you can tell they put detail in it. But if you are like me and need two rolls to get full, expect to pay $25+. Very expensive compared to their competitors. Also, they give you a can of soda as a drink with a cup of ice. AND THEY CHARGE FOR REFILLS. I was shocked. A new Chopsticks! Under new management with a new menu, chef, environment and making a bang! The place has traditional sushi with extra added modern rolls for the youth. The "piña colada roll" was something I never tasted but I enjoyed! I would recommend this restaurant to those that want to go out and for the night or have a small business meeting for brunch. I read a few of the bad reviews for this place and had to laugh. The complaints of the sushi being overpriced and the snobbery of, "I've been to world class places"..."...should have gone to Asian Buffet because their sushi is better." HA! Hahahaha! First of all, the Asian Buffet has disgusting sushi and someone would know that had they actually been to real "world class" sushi bars. Second, if you want great sushi, you're going to pay a good amount of money for it. Don't want to pay a lot for sushi, go to a gas station that provides it. You can't even make your own sushi with high quality ingredients for near to nothing. I brought my 4 year old, 1 year old, and friend with me to Chopstick for the first time today. I've been to a few places out here for sushi and have not been impressed. I ordered the Volcano roll, Rainbow roll, Dynamite roll, and one other roll. It came out to us beautifully and quick enough for my kids. My 4 year old daughter has been eating sushi for a few years and I'm starting to teach my son how to use chopsticks since she already knows how to (so we've been to quite a few places in 3 years). The sushi was by far the best I've had in a very very long time. I think it was pretty self explanatory as to what my kids thought of it too, while they devoured a few pieces from each roll but the Volcano roll. I couldn't get my daughter to hardly eat the sushi at Asian Buffet and my son would not eat the first piece of a roll at another sushi bar in Killeen. Honestly, I couldn't stomach the sushi at Asian Buffet. My daughter has been to some restaurants we enjoyed where she would eat a whole roll to herself like the rest of us because it was a place with great quality and nothing like the other places. The fish was cut perfect at Chopstick, the presentation was perfect, and the atmosphere was great for the family. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and would recommend this place to anyone who can appreciate real sushi. read more

I wish I could give this place a zero. The only reason we ate here twice was because I was craving pho and I honestly forgot how bad it was when we ate there on thanksgiving. We were given greasy plastic forks. Pretty sure they are washing and reusing the disposable utensils. Thank god we eat with chopsticks. The spring rolls were horrible but the peanut sauce was honestly the most disgusting thing I have ever been served in my life. Both were completely inedible, sent back twice, AND they refused to even remove the plate from my table after I told the waiter repeatedly I didn't want it- and I was still charged!! Unbelievable. The pho was pretty bad- like dishwater. My husband had the worst excuse for teriyaki beef - overcooked and rubber crap. I was appalled that I was even expected to pay for anything. I'm so sad. This used to be my favorite sushi place. What the heck happened here? I saw the sign "Under New Management" and disregarded it, because I seemed to have recalled seeing that sign there before, and the sushi was still great. But man, when my husband went to pick up our takeout order, he came home with sushi that I had NEVER seen before. It was just that different. To start off, the portion was QUITE a bit smaller. To scale, the old Spider roll and Dragon roll were like, The Hulk; what arrived to me, this new version of the Spider roll and Dragon roll, was Bruce Banner. I was not pleased. It tasted different too. I don't know if it was a new sushi chef, or what, but my husband's order (chicken teriyaki) was abysmal. OH! And here is the kicker. When I got opened up my takeout box, my sushi was COVERED in soy sauce. Like someone just decided to pour an entire bottle. I don't know what the hell happened there, but that was just... awful. I am very disappointed with the service my coworker and I received today at Chopsticks. My coworker's California crunch roll had no flavor. We each tasted it and it tasted like chewing air. She tried to return it and they SUDDENLY have a no return policy if you took a bite. WHAT?!?? She was told she had to pay for the roll, not even offered an exchange. The manager/owner refused to come talk to us. Then the waitress got rude with us when we asked for this written policy. We paid and left we will no longer bring our out of town clients here. The rolls here are pretty good, I can't complain about that. My problem is that they try to pass the broth for their pho as real pho broth. The broth taste like it came from powder, oppose to real pho. Real pho broths are made from bone, grilled veggies, and herbs boiled for hours. If you want real pho, take the drive to Austin to N. Lamar, where the Asian Plaza is located. You'll find an awesome pho restuarant there. They don't skimp on the meat either. While you're there, stop in at the MT Supermarket to get your self the neccessary items to make Pho. Its not that hard. read more

Well not as great as a few other places around killeen but I must say it's not bad either had the beef pho which wasn't as flavorful as the ones @ pho Saigon yet it wasn't to bad, along with a spider roll which was pretty good, I'll say it's a good place unlike some of the other Asian cuisine places in that u can get a different variety of Asian foods do wish they sold pha Thai tho :-(. The Bulgogi roll has avocado in it. Be careful because it isn't listed on the menu. A member of our party ate it and immediately threw up because of allergies. The pho isn't nearly as good as what you get on lamar street or guadalupe street in Austin. After that, you'll find better pho on Rancier in the shopping center across from olympic barbers. There's another place for pho that's better in the omart shopping center of killeen. Sushi is better both in Harker heights and at Namis. Parking is not plentiful because the starbucks nextdoor is so busy. read more

My favorite sushi place in Killeen. The service is so nice, the food is so good. You seat yourself when you come in so you get to pick where you sit. If it's your first time & are unsure what to get, they give you AMAZING recommendations on what to order. The price is a little high so I'd definitely not suggest this as an everyday place, but the food is so worth it. It taste amazing & fills you up. This is a very inviting small restaurant. The hostess is always polite and the food has always been spot on for the area. To me the only thing that would elevate the place is the service. The food has always been good that's what keeps me going through there door. The service is simply hit or miss. I have been here and had great service and I have had bad service as well. Upon walking into this joint, I immediately felt out of sorts. This little place feels more like a bar or club than it does an eatery. The music was a touch too loud, and even a little inappropriate (very aggressive, profane rap music). The atmosphere is dark, and the lighting is dramatic and flashy (although very interesting and quite entertaining). Despite this, we were greeted promptly and with some of the friendliest service I've ever experienced. Seats were readily available at all angles of the room, so we were asked where we would like to sit. Drinks were brought quickly, and we were given appetizer options, of which we chose the gyoza (potstickers). Cooked to perfection; crunchy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, the gyoza were very enjoyable. If I remember correctly, you get about five pieces, and a little side of tempura dipping sauce. Highly recommend this appetizer! We also received a small bowl of miso soup to go along with our gyoza. I, for one, was not impressed with the soup. It didn't have enough salt, soy sauce, or miso paste in the soup, and it tasted very watery and bland. Definitely a big no no in my book. After that, I ordered my standard fare; a California Roll. The dinner orders all arrived at the same time, and very promptly. However, upon first observation, I was actually pretty wary. There are two types of sushi construction I've seen done with crab; the chunks of meat, or the grated/ground mix. Every time I have received rolls with the creamy, ground mixture, it has always tasted cheap, plastic-y, and overall very bad. Many buffets and lower-class sushi restaurants otp to use this style of crab. So when I saw this version on my plate, it immediately brought up a red flag. I had already ordered it, though, so I had to at least try it. When I did, it put my mind at ease. The crab mixture wasn't too creamy, it didn't have any extra ingredients in it, and it wasn't oddly spicy, like many cheap, mystery sushi rolls of this style tend to be. The rolls were balanced nicely, with the crab taking up a little more than half of the roll, and the avocado and cucumber taking up the remaining half. The rice was a surprisingly good consistency, and the rolls held together exceedingly well, even after having been dipped in soy sauce. Eight rolls later, and I was content. I should have ordered more, but didn't know if I could eat another 8 rolls! The price range is fair for your standard sushi fare, and even a little cheaper than what I expected. However, the one thing that bothered me about this place? There weren't any soy sauce dispensers on the table! What kind of Asian restaurant DOESN'T affix their tables with soy sauce?! This is less a complaint as it is a silly observation, as the floor always had at least one waitress on the floor. If I really needed more sauce, it would have been easy to ask for it. Overall, great experience. Will come back here again for a second dinner session. 4/5 stars. read more

I ordered take out a month ago or so and got the baked lobster roll and a shrimp tempura roll. Both were great and so was the service. Last night I ordered take out and got the spider roll with no masago and the baked lobster roll. I also asked for no wasabi or ginger. When I got home Aprox 7 mins later I saw that the spider roll had masago. The baked lobster roll was also ICE cold. Not just room temp.....freezer cold. There was also wasabi and ginger but wasn't a huge deal since it was separated. I called and complained the manager said I could come back tomorrow (today) and they would remake both rolls. I went today to do that. Still had wasabi and ginger, but not a huge deal once again. The rolls were just ok compared to the first time I went there. I probably won't be back. read more
