I have been a customer of Pete' G's Chopper Design for many years. I had a 2001 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic that Pete serviced for me and upgraded. He did a great job and in 2011 traded it for my new Harley Davidson Street Glide. Pete G's shop treats you like a friend and offers complete service with quality concern and touch. The bike always runs better and is clean. Pete's team is very practical, professional and they understand my bike. They will teach you and train you during the process. Last week I had Pete upgrade my cams and added the Thunder Max Performance V-Twin Electronic Fuel Management Product. Wow, does my bike perform better and this was a fantastic engine upgrade. Much smoother ride, seems to ride cooler, fantastic torque and sounds fantastic. Even in six gear I can simply throttle back and fly pass cars on the interstate. I plan to take my Street Glide up to stage four and then customize the body knowing Pete G's will design a fantastic custom job for me. I have recommended Pete G to my friends. Pete took me for $500, very shoddy work. He made a 'fender' for me that was little more than a piece of backwards scrap metal with some off center, sloppy holes. He put a headlight on that was too big on my bike so he made an aluminum braket to make room for it. I bet people reading this know what happens when you try to use aluminum on a hardtail; thats right, it cracks. He did a decent job repairing a side mount plate that cracked from vibration and ordered $80 in parts that he never gave me. All this was two weeks and $500 folks. ...and forget about daily updates. In fact, if you call, be ready to be made to feel as if you asked him for help moving. Thanks for nothing Pete, I'm not rich and that money doesn't come easy. At least you wont have to deal with me wanting to know what is happening with my bike ever again. Believe me when I tell you, everyone I know will be hip to you too. In the end I paid a real shop to go behind Pete's hack job and fix it. They were incredulous when they heard what I paid this quack. Great service for 1/3 the cost of an HD store. Pete is a great guy to work with and has done nothing but provide top notch work & A+ customer service in the year I've been taking my '14 FLHTCU to him. A couple months ago I ran into an issue removing my oil filter when doing a simple oil change. Called Pete and he told me to ride it up to him where he painstakingly removed the bad filter, installed a brand new one, and REFUSED to take a dollar of my money! I've probably saved $2k between tires, brakes, and lube/filter as opposed to going to Orlando or Seminole Harley. 5 Stars! read more

Pete has worked on my bikes for years and I have never had anything but great service and excellent advice. Pete restored a 1958 Panhead for me that is now a show winner. Also Pete built a big wheel bagger for me that rides great and has never given me any trouble either mechanically or aesthetically. I have had 3 engines built by Pete and all run like a scalded dog and have never needed to be back in the shop. I have nothing but the highest regard for Pete and his team at the shop so I am surprised when I read the comments from the Gentlemen earlier this year.
