Due to Seminole Harley refusing to wok on my 1998 fxdwg beacuse it is over 10 years old lead me to discover Southen Cycles. WOW! What a great find. I spoke with Nate on the phone explained my issues and was assured they could fix the issue. When I visited the shop found it to be clean and neat. Nates knowledge is unbelievable he went through my questions and made some recomendations, but was never pushy. I delivered the bike as requested and work began. SC's rates were super reasonable and anytime a question came up Nate was on the phone and together decisions were made on how to proceed. I will tell you this I followed his advice and glad I did. The one thing that sticks in my mind is that Nate and Josh promised me the bike at closing time but both of them stayed afer hours to get it completed as promissed. Now that is customer service and commient to the fullest. Something Seminole Harley would not have done. After getting the bike back what a difference it as never ran this good. I also have 2006 Honda Trike and will be taking it to Nate and Josh for all service needs. I happened to come across Nick's review felt compelled to respond. Tragically, slander is becoming the norm these days. I have been a customer of Southern Cycles since they opened for business. They have serviced several bikes for me over the years. Additionally, I've referred countless family and friends who have been more than happy with their service. I have one friend who drives all the way from Lakeland to take his bike to Southern. Most recently, I tried to reason with Suzuki to have the recall work for my master cylinder performed by Southern, simply because I don't trust anyone else when it comes to the safety of my bike. They have saved me thousands over the years, speaking openly and honestly with me about services I didn't need and even took the time to help research and purchase my GSX-R this year. Tell me one shop in the area that does this? Nick, I sincerely hope you give give Nate or Josh a call as I have the utmost confidence they will work with you to reconcile any differences you might have. I had been waiting for months to go to Daytona Bike Week to get my tires replaced with Michelin Commander II tires, but I decided I could not wait any longer to get the new tires. Their condition was just too poor to trust to a 100-mile ride. So I went to a local shop that my buddy, Gallegher, recommended: Southern Cycles, LLC. Boy, am I glad I did! After I got back from Daytona, I knew what I paid and what I would have paid had I waited. Southern Cycles - $390 J&P Cycles Destination Daytona Superstore with "Fix Cycles" installing - $480 Southern Cycles wins big time! And I win big time! Plus, now I know where the best deal in town can be found. And I love supporting local businesses, especially when the loyal relationship will benefit me in the long run. ;-) P.S. I'm not sure if this space is enough for all of the wonderful things that can be said about Nate and Josh. I am a lady rider and these awesome guys make me feel just as important as every man that comes into the shop. Women are usually taken advantage of and have no clue of what to expect. With Nate and Josh, they provide honesty, education and will take the time to answer any and all questions you may have. My brother introduced me to Southern Cycles and it has been the most pleasurable team to have on my side, I think Nate and Josh should provide customer service workshops to the Harley Davidson stores...they can learn what true professionalism stands for. Three years back I moved from Brooklyn/NY to Apopka/FL with 1700 miles on my Suzuki Intruder 1500.I came across Southern Cycles,after having a throttle issue,and frantically trying to find a nearby motorcycle repair shop.Josh fixed the problem right away and didnot charge me a dime.Since then,with 30K on my bike,I had no issues what-so-ever,thanks to Southern Cycles. In fact,if you look closely on one of their main photos,you would see my cruiser getting a tire replacement. I have had the privilege of having these guys work on several of my bikes, my wife's bike,my sister's bike, my son in law and my daughter's bike too. they have always been up front, fair and professional! A few months ago my wife and I were traveling out of state and found we needed a tire for my bike. I found a dealer, not Harley , offering the Michelin tire. so I called and spoke with someone at the shop at Southern Cyckes who assured me I was getting a good tire at a price that they thought was fair. I'm a new rider as of this year, having inherited a 2005 Kawasaki Concours from my Dad. A few months after I started riding, I bought another Concours (1997) from a private seller, and have made it my primary transportation. I had this 1997 Concours in for service last week with Southern Cycles, after some informative conversations with Josh, and I am very pleased with the result. It's like riding a new motorcycle! His team has help me out of more bike trouble than I can count (really) and I can't imagine going to anyone else. Which for the people who know me, I am the hardest person to make happy due to my unbelievable standards; Southern Cycle hands down were one of the best shops I have visited in Orlando. These guys are great. I have been riding for over 50 years and never had to take my bikes into a shop but the last bike I bought was giving me a fit so I asked a friend for a recommendation and on his advice I called Nathan and Josh. I believe they could have fixed my bike on the telephone. I took it in and later that same day they had most of the work done except for a couple of oddball parts they had to order. Nathan and Josh at Southern Cycles in Apopka are some of the most honest guys I have ever met. I got a GREAT deal on a set of Avon tires for my C109r. Just had my bike serviced. They didnt try to push unnecessary repairs. They didnt have the right spark plugs in stock for my bike. Offering to order plugs and to remove and replace plugs at no charge.That is what I call customer service. I TRUST these guys. You cant say that about the Dealers around Town. I recommend this place to everyone. They are fast, thorough, polite, and not intimidating to new riders. I brought my '08 Suzuki S40 Boulevard to them for a diagnostic and they pointed out that it needed a new rear tire. They found a tire for ~$99 and put it on the next day, fixed two other things off about the battery and a missing bolt, I picked up the bike and it ran better than when I first got it a few months prior. read more

What a great place!!! first off the two Owners bend over backwards to make you happy-- They are not only honest, but they charge a fair price, and from what I have seen their pricing is where it should be, not like the major dealer/shops around central florida. It may be a drive, but well worth it. They might even let you watch a video if you are waiting for an extended time. read more
