Salad munchers, dieters and despairing general eaters of Baker Street/Bond Street area... REJOICE!
There is a flipping chop'd inside selfridges food court!!! This has mainly delighted me due to trying several local salad chains to my office and missing my daily chop'd.
Anyone wondering what this elusive chop'd is of which I speak? It's in essence a salad fast food chain which serves up salads made to order as you go along choosing the delights you want in your salad. Today I had lettuce, pasta, red onion, tomato, sweetcorn and ham, with a fat free dressing called sesame soy. It was delicious, as I knew it would be, because Chop'd is consistently good quality ingredients. They aren't stingy on the contents either, mine was fully loaded with all the good stuff.
This chop'd branch is smaller than most, but the queue was comparitvely small (the one in spitalfields used to be about 50 deep sometimes). They have most ingredients that the big stores have, and the staff are nice.
Thank god. Salad harassment via Yelp over now I've found my BFF Chop'd again. read more
