I got some food from here recently and really loved it. The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned and fried to perfection. It has a good crisp to it. The classic sauce on top is this creamy sauce with onions that was interesting. The sauce was good. I personally really liked it with the honey mustard too. The star of the show for me was there truffle fries I usually don't really like the taste of truffle, but this was not so overwhelming or overly seasoned. I thought it was absolutely delicious and I would get the fries again.
The food here is good!! Basically the menu has chicken (wings and tenders) and fries and a nice selection of drinks and sauces. Patrons go up to a counter with touch screen system, pick out the items, pay, select a # and enter it onto thier order. The restaurant is tiny and seating is limited. Either the staff or the robot delivers the food. We sat at the high top table which wasn't that comfortable. We had a large group. Dining here was an experience. The atmosphere is kind of like a fast food restaurant, very casual. Plenty of parking.
Looks like they have a new, more concise menu with no prices printed on it. While you sit down at a table to be served by a server and/or robot, you have to go up to the iPads to place your order. They prices are pricey and while the flavor was still good, the chicken was not nearly as crispy and hot as the last time we came.
To me, the chicken is very underwhelming. I don't care to come back. I order the honey garlic chicken wings? It didn't have a fresh crunchy taste I was looking for. Tasted low quality. The fries were ok, nothing to brag about. The passion fruit lemonade didn't make me jump either. However, business was BOOMING! So, I would still suggest because there's a reason why so many love it ? Just truly not for me or my taste buds. Inside looks a little run down/old for being a new establishment. Lastly, there was a lovely lady at the front, I wish I knew her name. She's very knowledgeable about the menu, she's very kind and very patient. If you're hesitant or curious about any of the items listed, she's your girl!
All I can say is wowww!! Best breaded wings I've tried . These are the juiciest and full of such a robust flavor . When you walk in you order on screen and there are employees available to answer any questions you may have . They do have an allergy list on the wall to make it easier to navigate in new territory . The Garlic Soy and Garlic Spicy Chickens wings are delicious ! I would recommend ordering the fries and cucumber kimchi. A robot brings you all your food , along with chopsticks , and gloves so you can enjoy your food mess free. Do yourself a favor and check this place out !
I always want Korean fried chicken, this place will deliver you the goods. But the ROBOT WAITER is what really brought me in to try the place!! To everyone who was there when I went... I'm so sorry I came with my very picky mom (I'm picky too, let's be real), and unfortunately they were loudly complaining. At least it felt that way to me- sorry again to the staff and other customers! Now, yes, the menu is super limited; just chicken, fries, and a few sauce options. No prices listed, which threw us off at first. But like... it's a chicken spot? That's kind of the vibe. And honestly, it was cute. Very homey. Exactly what I expected walking in. Okay, confession: I was a little let down when I noticed the floors were dirty and there was a fly doing laps around my head the entire time. That was my one ehhhhh moment. BUT THEN THE FOOD CAME OUT- AND OH MY GOD. First of all, it's delivered by a ROBOT. A literal robot. I love that. But the food? The tenders? The fries?? I don't even know how to describe them besides: better than almost every restaurant I've ever been to. I only tried the plain tenders and fries (no sauce because my mom vetoed all of them), and I was still blown away. We ended up taking it to-go because my mom felt a little claustrophobic in the space, but I'm 100% going back. Also shoutout to the staff he was super nice So yeah, just check the menu online before you go, especially if you're going with picky eaters. But trust me: once that food hits the table mmmmm
the staff here were so nice! the lady kept calling me sweetie which made me feel special. she was very kind when i asked for more radish and the person at the cash register was also very nice. he let me try a sample of the cucumber kimchi because i asked how spicy it was. i got the soy garlic wings which were pretty good. i think it could've been made a bit crispier though. if you have a low spice tolerance like me, the soy garlic was still pretty spicy so i was drinking tons of water during this meal.
Tonight's birthday dinner gathering for my friend was a wonderful time for all 13 of us. The table set in the center of the restaurant was the perfect fit. We shared 6 plates of chicken along with rice for everyone. We ordered fries and radish too. It was all delicious! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the casual, comfortable ambiance made the evening even better.
Lets get into it. This place is unapologetic about its values, especially its signature claim to be the best korean chicken you have ever had. I tried the snow onion chicken, the parmesan truffle fries and the lychee lemonade. The lemonade was refreshing, tangy, sweet, and fruity, highly recommend you pair it with the drumsticks. The fries were crisp and fluffy! They dont hold back on the seasoning like other places so that was appreciated. Now let's get to the chicken. Great googly moogly, the chicken. They offer breaded and nonbreaded wings, tenders, whole chicken, drumsticks, I am definitely coming back to try them all. And i havent even had a chance to review the PLETHORA of flavors accessible. I had the Drumsticks, Snow Onion flavor, you can the onions and sauce on top or on the side, i recommend on top for the experience. The prove you with napkins, gloves, an extra serving plate, moist towelletes, it can get messy! Between the hot, cripsy chicken and the delicious, cool sauce, and the onions adding even more crunch, it is truly a unique dining experience. I am scared to try anything else because the snow onion chicken was that great! Once you walk in you order at a kiosk, very user friendly, at first the price point seemed obtuse but it was worth EVERY PENNY. You take a number, have a seat, and a robot beings your food to you! Even with how streamlined the service is, the workers were very attentive and proactive in regards to meeting my needs before i even got the chance to ask. Water, extra plate and napkins, by lemonade, all brought in a timely and friendly manner and even thought my experience was only about 40 minutes, it was far from rushed. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the music was good, tables and floor were clean. The was leftover food in the corners of the booth seats but it wasn't anything to be upset over and overall, I really didnt care about anything but the food while I was eating. It's clear they care about your comfort while you enjoy the food, definitely coming back! SHOUTOUT TO LEIDY!! So sweet and accommodating. Yall need to try this place out.
I really love the food here. The chicken is always juicy, the fries and other sides are tasty and flavors are wonderful. Most of their entrees is some combination of garlic and onion and that comes as wings, tenders, or sandwiches They service you with water and utensils just to start but the place is a fast casual experience so don't expect service. They are a Korean chain restaurant so expect lots of KPop to be blasting from their TVs and plastered over their walls so as a KPop fan it was nice and made my meal more fun. But If you're not it shouldn't be a bother most goers there are of many ethnicities regardless. Must have if you've never been!

Once that's done, you can sit anywhere there's an opening. When your food is ready, a robot delivers it to your table, which I thought was super cute. The chicken here is incredibly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. However, you don't interact much with the staff unless you need something specific, as most of the process is automated.

This fun K-pop infused restaurant brings big flavor in a small space. Offering a variety of wings, tenders, fries, and sauces, there's something for everyone. We ordered the garlic spicy chicken with fries, and every bite was delicious. The spice level was perfect -- just enough to keep things tasty and interesting without overpowering the flavor. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the only downside was that the delivery robot was out of service! With many different selections to chose from, this place brings South Korean fried chicken to south Florida. Chicken is breaded to perfection and made to order. With three big screen tvs pumping out K-pop or euro chill music, this place was busy when we went (always a good sign). Ample parking around since it's located in an office plaza. In addition to the chicken, you can order specific dipping sauces. Try the lemon spring onion tenders: juicy, spicy, the ginger packs a punch!! My favorite fried chicken place! I have tried most of their flavors but the spicy soy garlic bc I'm scared that it'll be too spicy for me. I love their fries!! They're like the right amount of crispy and they're so addicting! Tip is to get their lunch specials during the weekdays before like 2 pm? You get like 3 pieces of chicken tenders with fries for like $13 or something like that. My favorite flavor depends on how spicy I want my chicken. I usually get the normal soy garlic or the honey one. Sometimes I'll get the curry but not too often. The curry flavor is interesting because the curry has a sweet taste to it instead of the usual like saltiness. We had their strawberry mochi and it was pretty good but too small for the price so not worth it. We also had one of their drinks, the dalgona drink but we didn't really like it that much. read more

4.5 stars! One of the best fried chicken spot in broward -- and you can @ me! I am sooo happy I finally have this place a shot -- there's been nothing but good reviews for a reason. Healthy , seasoned fried chicken!! And it's just please some gizzards (which after trying the chicken I'm excited to try) We went with the safe options and got the so garlic sauce fried wings -- the sauce was great and a tab bit spicy so could imagine how their spicy sauces are. We also got the dirty fries which was friend nicely and seasoned Tried they sac sac drink for the first time and it was yummy grape juice and I wish the can was bigger lol I will be back ! read more
Another amazing meal at choong man! Their electric robot server is currently down but they have a very attentive staff who come by and check on what you need frequently. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu The spice level does get pretty high here so be wary when choosing your flavor! My criteria: 5: absolutely love, will come back, can't wait to try more things and bring people here 4: pretty good, some quality issues, would return again 3: simple stuff, nothing crazy here, location could not be clean or employees not friendly 2: I may give this place a chance to improve at least one more time 1: will not be returning here read more
I've wanted to go check them out since they opened but never found myself in the area. Was picking up my nephews and decided.. its about time we checked it out. Easy to find located off griffin on university. Everything is contactless, so we had a seat, scanned the qr code looked over the menu and put in the order. Serving sizes are large so we got tenders, drumsticks, waffles fries and it was more than enough for us all. The resto features a robot waiter that brings out your food and my nephews got a kick out of that. Now on to the food; tasted awesome.. Korean fried so it was extra crispy, flavorful, with light heat. Everyone loved it. I'm definitely bringing friends here in the future. read more

We ordered a half chicken and 10 wings. Good: excellent flavor, actually a bit spicy without any sauce Bad: when you think KFC , you think crunchy. Unfortunately because of the packaging the chicken gets soggy. If there is a next time I will dine in or just pass all together. read more

This place is a must if you love chicken! Everything is customizable: you choose the type of chicken you want, the sauce, and any toppings (cheese, onion, etc.) so there's really something for everyone. The menu is also very clear and easy to read in terms of options and spice levels, to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. You order on a tablet and your food is brought out on a robot, which is so fun, and there are a ton of fun drink options. We got the garlic soy tenders and mango soda with curly fries. The chicken was very flavorful and tender. You could really taste the garlic and soy, and it was just the right amount of sauce. We went around 3pm which I feel like is an off time, and it was still super crowded so just a heads up. read more

I started with 5 garlic soy tenders and expected them to be bigger - still delicious though! I ordered a batch of CM fried chicken wings with curry sauce. These were also delicious and crispy. So my friend and I went for lunch today, the place was clean and tables constantly being clean when customers left. She was busy and she took our order and explained lunch specials so I ordered wings with curry, spiced up just right and friend ordered with garlic, also good, but our server was the best I posted a picture, it was a robot, kinda cool having it delivered right the the table. read more
On the recommendation of a friend, we headed to try out the popular fried chicken , who knew chicken at this place had so many versions of fried chicken. For starters I went back & forth with the spicy chicken & honey garlic chicken. I chose the spicy & sweet 1/2 chicken, parmesan fries. My friend picked the honey soy chicken. You place your order on screen & take your table number. Soon a robot rolls to your table with your order. My spicy chicken is crunchy & has lots of flavor shortly after you feel some heat but it is yummy hot. The fries are ok maybe needed some salt, for nearly 10 bucks I expected wow, in-any case you do get decent portions. We both took leftovers. My friend shared a Korean beer which was good too , for nearly 10 bucks! However, It is a larger than usual bottle so theres that:) Overall I enjoyed the food & am curious to try another fried chicken version soon. read more

If you like great chicken and amazing flavors, Choong Man Chicken is the place to be! I've been here a couple times now and the food has always been consistent which is very good because if there's anything that frustrates me is going to a restaurant one day having great food then coming back again to be served bad food. There are kiosks to easily order food, everything is user friendly so it was easy to order. Service wise they have those robots delivering to your table which was convenient. It doesn't take long either to get the food. We went for dinner so it was fairly busy so it might be a little difficult to find a table and eat there. I recommend eating there so that the chicken is still crispy and warm instead of being soggy if youre taking it home. read more

Small cute spot for crispy Korean fried chicken. To a star away because everything even the plain chicken is spicy so my daughter didn't really eat. But she loved the robot that delivered our food and I liked being able to sit and just order and pay from our phones. I haven't been here in so long that I decided to come back for lunch with my dad. It look a little different from the last time I came in. You can now order at the multiple kiosk, the counter or from the barcode at the table. We came in for lunch and there wasn't a lot of people sitting eating but the pick ups where in and out. We ordered 2 fried chicken combos which brings 3 legs with fries. ($12.99) the chicken was steaming hot and crispy. Not only the batter but the actual chicken had flavor and had a faint hint of spicy. The fries were also fresh and crispy. I also order the garlic soy gizzards $14.99 . They were a bit spicy and it was a big order which was perfect to share and take some home. To drink we had a lychee lemonade and a passion fruit lemonade. There were both absolutely delicious. $3.99 Overall I enjoyed this cute little spot and the service was pretty good as well. read more
You're not going to find sticky floors or tables here. Everything is clean, there's K pop playing in the background. They have Korean drinks, beers and sodas aside from the obvious Korean fried chicken. We shot our first episode here and I've return numerous times. Last time I came here i was blown away but this most recent time I wasnt as impressed. It was good but certainly not the amazing experience I remember. First off: the speed of the food coming out was terrible... i was one of 3 people in the restaurant and it took 30 minutes from when i ordered to receive my food. Second: the onion rings were fine, but i want to say they were like $7.99 , which for maybe 8 frozen fried onion rings is INSANE. Third: i feel like the first time I went the Honey Mustard was home made, or atleast it wasnt just peppermill packets. I've been wanting to try this place for so long and I finally had the chance! There are no many places with Korean Fried Chicken so I was hoping this would be the spot for me. You cannot expect much for service because it's more of a self service restaurant. You order on a kiosk and seat yourself and wait for your food to arrive. The restaurant is pretty small so you'll need to get there at an off time to get a table. We shared Original, Garlic Soy, and Garlic Spicy. They were all delicious! The original was very crunchy, especially compared to the others because no sauce. I think next time I will get original and the sauce on the side to dip just because the crunch texture was amazing. The garlic soy and garlic spicy were both great. The garlic spicy was a nice combination of sweet and spicy. I enjoy spicy so I need to try the red hot pepper next time. All the chicken was very juicy also. A fun experience is using gloves when eating these so there's no mess involved! read more
Must be eaten fresh! The wing sizes are very big and it's so crispy when eating it fresh. You can order at the front or there are 2 easy to use self service kiosk. I didn't know what to order so I found the kiosk very helpful. I ended up ordering wings, tenders and gizzards with a mix of flavors and toppings. I enjoyed everything and the pickled radish is a must to cleanse your pallet and it's addicting to snack on. Very bright and welcoming inside. Can seat roughly 20 people inside but there are large benches outside that can prob fit an additional 30. Parking lot is big no problem finding a spot. read more
