Had this on my list for a minute, glad I finally got to check it out!!!!! From the outside it looks very unassuming.. it reminded me of the traditional Korean food stall in style/look . Im guessing thats intentional.. when I went in the interior was minimal in design but nice. I really liked it.. it seemed homey and inviting. I got the beef bullgogi bibimbap and the server recommended that I get it in the stone pot as it will keep it hotter and make the rice on the bottom crispy. Glad i listened. It was delicious! And the mix of crispy rice enhanced the experience. Id happily come back! To try all their other options esp since Korean food is in my top 3 favs!
Simply delicious - a Korean gem in miami. We tried: * Short rib soup * A chive pancake * A beef bibimbap Everything was very good. The service was fantastic, and the ambience, although very simple, was very warm and pleasant. I would definitely be back and highly recommend. Hard to find place, but also hard to forget.
I was craving tofu soup so we decided to stop by since it's been a while. The restaurant has expanded with a new indoor seating area , definitely a plus, especially with Florida's heat and humidity... Service was good and friendly. We ordered the kimchi tofu soup, Korean fried chicken, zucchini pancakes, and Korean cold noodles. Unfortunately, the tofu soup (the main reason I came), was quite disappointing. It tasted very bland, more like flavored water with a few tofu cubes, bits of kimchi, and some pork. It really lacked that deep, rich flavor you would expect from traditional Korean tofu soup. Everything else was fine but not particularly memorable. Too bad the main dish I came for missed the mark, but overall it was still an okay dining experience.
This place is the definition of a hidden gem. The food is super fresh and full of bold, authentic Korean flavors -- but fair warning... most dishes bring the heat . If you're not into spicy food, definitely ask before ordering. The space itself is very small, but that's part of the charm. It's always packed with locals, which tells you everything you need to know people come here for the food, not the fancy setup.

I've been here numerous times, great hole in the wall with good food and service. All my orders have been to go so I can't speak for dining in but I'm sure the experience dining in is good too.
A true hole in the wall and hidden gem. Hands down one of my favorite spots for korean food. This place is a small, cozy spot that may feel a bit crammed during busy hours, but well worth it. I order the same thing every time (spicy pork over rice) and it never disappoints. It's so flavorful and the serving size is enough for two meals. Service is good. They came in to check on how we're doing multiple times. Don't expect a luxury experience, it's definitely more of a mom and pop type of vibe. One thing to note: There's an automatic 18% gratuity on all checks.

Ok so I've been a k-drama fan for some years now & I've been interested in trying their food. Can you believe this little hole in the wall is near my neighborhood! My sister has been here & told me about it. We came for me to try it out! I knew it was going to be a little on the pricey side $65 for 3 plates & a bubble tea. They add the tip, which is fine. Food was delicious & our service was excellent! Would I come back 'YES'!

Filling dish & friendly service! The spicy pork was perfectly cooked and they made it extra spicy for me which was nice. Comes with kimchi on the side. Overall very well executed and balanced dish.
I wanted to love this place. The Boba had zero tea in the black milk tea. It was just non-dairy milk on top of stale Boba balls. I'm a Boba connoisseur and this is not where it's at. The dish was ok, but the protein portion was so insignificant... it's just not worth it for me. I would try other places.
Food was flavorful, though I would be hard pressed to bring other people back here. Going to be a takeout only place for me going forward. We sat outside on a rainy day because the AC was absolutely frigid indoors, but the patio (while dry and seats up to 4 groups) leaves a lot to be desired. Service was understandably slow - they have only two staff members running inside and out doing everything. Waters went unfilled. No napkins until you go inside to take some from other tables because once you receive your food, they will not be coming back to check on you. Couldn't flag down anyone to get a box or our check, so I ended up bothering their takeout window to ask. For a Korean restaurant serving largely traditional dishes, the one thing I've come to expect and look forward to is the banchan - and banchan there are not. With your entree, they bring out a small dish of chopped kimchi, but no option to even order any cucumber, sprouts, spinach, eggplant, that I've been searching for in Miami. I had assumed, with most entrees being $25-35 (and don't get me started on $20 pancakes), that the banchan was factored in. Won't be making that assumption again. I ordered the sundubu - my fave Korean comfort dish. I loved that it came with a side of rice and an egg to crack into my stew. Again, super flavorful, great amount of soft tofu, and hit most of the cravings I had when I walked in. I asked for it extra spicy, and I could see the chili oil they added for me. If I had room for dessert, I would've gotten the bingsu, because you don't see that often in Miami. But the search continues for a Korean restaurant as good as the one that closed in Doral, with a variety of lil veggie dishes to round out my meal!

This isn't the nicest place to look at. Parking is tight. Inside has low ceiling and has a bit of smell to it. Our server was very friendly. The food tasted amazingly good. I didn't have a good feel of the place but this rice bowl came out and basically cooked in front of my eyes it was so hot. The bowl is a cast iron metal which was extremely hot. I have to stir the rice so it wouldn't cook at the bottom of the bowl. I would have given a higher Stars if the interior and parking lot was nicer read more

There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice little quaint place. Service was awesome when I came on a Friday afternoon after work. Food was delicious. Will definitely visit this place more often. Price is a little high on the delivery apps, so definitely suggest visiting in-person. read more

Nice little place and i think it's easy to miss in the area. We came when it was pouring all day. They have outside seating, but we sat inside. I think though it's small, the decor is nice and clean. The food were great and fast. We ordered lunch portion beef bulgogi, tofu stew, and soy garlic chicken wing. They were perfect for rainy day. Definitely a great spot. read more

I can't recommend this restaurant. I had my hopes up for the only Korean restaurant in North Miami Beach until I actually went and ate there. At first glance, it appears to be somewhat authentic, but the menu was so small. I could barely even read it with my glasses. No authentic Korean restaurant would allow you to order $28 main dishes and not give you any Banchan or the little small plates of sample appetizers that are standard in any Korean restaurant. I ordered the bibimbop with chicken and a sunny side up egg with the hot stone bowl. The stone bowl was not hot enough to cook the egg so that was another failure. Usually the rice will crisp because the bowl is so hot on the bottom. In this case there was no crisping or sizzling The Bulgoggi was just OK probably was not marinated enough not the best I've had or even average. Incredibly enough, they served a thimble full of gochan sauce. Barely a teaspoon. It was in a little to go container with a top on it. They did serve a side of kimchi. The dish was so shallow and small. You could barely get a taste for it and certainly not enough as a side dish to mix or Company the Bulgogi or bibimbop. The pricing was out of line as well at $28 for a Bugatti with a very small portion of rice. One order of dumplings, one bulgoggi and o e chicken bibimbop was $60.38 tip included at 18%. Unfortunately, I will be taking the ride to Fort Lauderdale to a real Korean restaurant like Gabose which is better priced, more authentic doesn't nickel and dime you on sauce and actually offers real Korean dishes along with Korean barbecue. This is food truck food at best. I will not return. No Banchan. Unbelievably skimpy with Gochan and kimchi read more

I love Korean Food so had to try the Korean Kitchen Restaurant in North Miami Beach, an hour away from where I live. We were greated by the restaurant staff right away and took our orders. We ordered tbe beef bibimbap and the pork bulgogi bibimbap and we were not disappointed. The food were good and the service was awesome! It has a casual eatery type ambiance and the price is reasonable. read more
The food was delicious and fresh. Service was attentive and kind. I do like the fact that gratitude is included as I do not like deciding. Place has an indoor and outside area. My boyfriend and I ate outside. Did not check out the inside. But it's quaint, hole in the wall. 18% is included, and service isn't bad. Food is good. A little too hot in temperature (not flavor), so you're unable to enjoy the food right away. Food is slightly overcooked. Tempura is way too flakey and not enough shrimp. read more
I enjoyed Korean Kitchen's food at Smorgasberg. Excellent food. Tender and flavorful beef. Rice and japchae included. The guy told another customer that kimchi was $1 but on my bill it was $2. Kay. I've been here twice in the past two weeks, and I absolutely love it! The food is always perfect and I would highly recommend services is great. You can sit outside or inside. I scraped my bowl clean every time. Definitely a hidden gem. read more

Finally made it to Korean kitchen ! Very tiny spot, with limited indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the spicy soft tofu soup and beef bibimbap. Both were tasty and came with rice as a side dish. The soup was tasty, but says it's made with pork and shrimp, though it does not bring any for you to eat (I'm guessing just the broth takes in those ingredients). I was ok with it since I prefer to eat the tofu vs actual meat, but others might feel cheated if they read the description to find out there's no pork/shrimp in there. Would prob come back to check out other items. read more

No, no vegan options. And, most of their sauces, contain fish.
Is lunch portion available on weekends?
Monday ~ Friday till 3. Not available on Saturday.
Do they have black bean noodles?
No they don't. I hope they add it to the menu one day though!
Do they do Korean BBQ or just Korean dishes?
If you call them they will probably make arrangement ahead of time for Calvi. As i is not on the menu due to cost and not everyone appreciates it.…
