If you like sichuan cuisine, that mouth numbing feel of the peppercorns - run!! Very authentic restaurant with fantastic food.

Will return for the food, which is 4, everything else is 3 or lower. A few black and white photos are interesting. The restaurant changed hand about a year ago. The neighborhood is dingy. Parking in rare too. The name is bit interesting: Sichuan is a landlocked province. It's a great choice in a damp day, especially after the Miami Open when there was a rain delay; then Pegula lost in straight sets. Food is authentic: - Beef with cilantro: wonderful - Tiger pepper: great but (too spice for me) - Spicy flavored boiled Fish: super The house pickled cabbage is good too. All are food is delicious. My lips are numb with medium hot selection. When we got there at 6:30, there's one table; when we left a little over an hour later, three more groups came. All are Chinese. Hong Kong pop songs plays in the background. When I called to reserve a table (thinking it's Saturday night...), the woman who answered has a strong accent. So I spoke to her in Mandarin. She insisted in English. Three servers are doing the minimum: never changed our plates - the boiled fish has a lots of discards. The fish is fresh but it isn't scaled clean - this is big with me. The white rice in the bowl is shiny - very yummy. Should have asked them what kind of rice it is.

I was pretty OBSESSED when Sichuan opened since the previous owners left (CY Chinese). I was coming pretty often, almost once a week! The shrimp hot pot was my fav, along side the tasty cucumber salad. Food has been pretty consistent but the service lacks attention. You literally need to flag them down, and this happens every single time. It's a chill spot, no frills. Good tasting Chinese options and you definitely need to be open to trying new things on the menu , otherwise you'll get stuck always eating the same things. Plenty of parking - some in the front and back.

They offer a wide variety of pots, and I've tried them all, but they all have their own unique appeal. They're also very accommodating, allowing me to swap out ingredients and make adjustments to my meals. The rice on the side is a great addition, and I've tried a variety of dishes, including Takoyaki balls, vegetable rolls, fries, and calamari. Each one was delicious and satisfying. The servers are friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive. I also love their milk tea and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The space is spacious and inviting, and the bathroom is particularly cute and well-designed. Since I live in Miami, I definitely make it a point to visit this place at least once a month.

I had such an amazing experience at Hi-Pot easily a 5-star spot for hot pot lovers!…read more I went with a friend because we were craving something nice and warm, and this spot was absolutely perfect for that kind of cozy meal. From the moment we sat down, everything felt super inviting and well thought out. I love that each person gets their own individual pot, so you can fully customize your meal exactly how you like it. I got the Korean Kimchi Hot Pot. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh. As you can see from my pot I loaded mine up with shrimp, thinly sliced meat, mushrooms, noodles, cabbage, and fish cake (the cute swirl one!) everything cooked perfectly and soaked up all that broth. Every bite was comforting and delicious. The portions were generous, the presentation was great, and the whole experience felt fun and interactive. It's such a perfect spot whether you're going on a casual date, catching up with friends, or just craving something warm and satisfying. I'll definitely be coming back to Hi-Pot highly recommend it.

First time at this beautiful, high end, classy restaurant this past weekend…read more The decor is very beautiful. The front staff was friendly and prompt to seat us. Our waiter provided excellent service and recommended delicious options. The food was especially delicious, my husband who is very picky, loved everything he tried. The service was incredibly slow, and our waiter Juan Pablo was unfriendly and completely inattentive throughout the meal. He made Mother's Day brunch at Hakkasan a bad experience. The restaurant wasn't even half full, yet it took forever just to place our order, have dishes cleared, and get drink refills. On top of the poor service, the brunch menu has become extremely limited. They no longer offer the dim sum platters as pictured in the advertisement and many of our favorite dishes including the venison and pumpkin puffs are no longer on the menu. We loved bringing our parents here for dim sum and to celebrate special occasions, but after today, this will definitely be our last visit. What should have been a special Mother's Day celebration ended up being a huge disappointment.
