So many choices
Susan M.

If you ever see this type of chocolate dipped delight, do treat yo' self! So amazing sweet, creamy, smooth, silky chocolate treat. So many choices to dip. I tend to go traditional with a milk chocolate dip, but the fleur de sel was fantastic as well. On my first trip to Quebec I discovered this and treated myself again. Wish i would have found day one. Cannot find anything near this quality where i live in the States. It's high quality dipped cone...dairy queen dipped cone is a joke in comparison.

S'mores hot chocolate is a must!!!

A pure S'mores hot chocolate? This I had to try! Aside from the line being out the door, with the weather being 10 degrees Fahrenheit, I needed a serious pick-me-up. Having been raised in California, hot chocolate to me is the best cure for winter blues! Chocolats Favoris certainly lives up to its reputation for quality chocolate. The S'mores hot chocolate is unbelievably amazing! The top layer with whipped cream, marshmellow, and graham cracker is amazing! Whether as a sauce, dipped ice cream flavors, or as hot chocolate, there is something for all chocolate lovers at this shop. Levis is a quick ferry from Quebec City and a quaint town that is well worth visiting...especially if you make THIS shop one of your must-visit chocolateries.

My husband ordered the ice cream with maple and pecan chocolate. He was in love but after the third bite it was too heavy and sweet for him to finish. I guess I would recommend ppl to get the baby size especially for those that don't have a big sweet tooth.

Dulce de leche and dark chocolate with orange - both petite sizes!

After a three day stay in Quebec city I finally found a good ice cream shop, on the last day! There was a little line up outside this shop as we approached. The smell of chocolate hits you immediately as you walk through the door. There were an incredible amount of options. Not only ice cream but chocolates and other sweet treats. Me and my husband had already decided we wanted to cool down on this hot day so we went for the dulce de leche and orange with dark chocolate ice creams. Even though we opted for the petite size, once we got the sweets in our hands we were amazed by how big they actually were. Nonetheless we started eating our ice creams and were immediately sold. It tasted so good we felt like kids again. This must be the best soft serve ice cream I've had in Canada! If you're in Quebec just go find yourself a Chocolats Favoris and indulge!

Love this place! Great for tourists. Love the ice cream with dipped in chocolate dip. I had the one with salt caramel dip and it wasn't that much sweet because of the salt. Perfect! I even bought a pack to make it at home. I would definitely go back.

Where they turn a simple ice cream cone into a fantastic treat!

I eat out everyday. This place is a must for dippped cones (thick). And you can buy the dips in a can for home use.

Visiting Quebec City. We found Le Lapin on Yelp!…read more We ordered the to-share plate. Wow! The plate was filled with delicious goodness including duck, rabbit, hummus, vegetables etc... I also had a great Seatea Kombucha made from Nordic sea buckhorn. Great lunch experience. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

You feel like you're in a rabbit burrow. The decor is carefully thought out and charming. The pulled rabbit poutine was great with a mustard sauce instead of the brown gravy you usually get with poutine. The small appetizer poutine was already the perfect size to share along with our smoked duck winter salad and onion soup. Onion soup was made with ale and was covered in cheese. The only thing was that I wished the soup had more broth than cheese. But the onions were tender and cooked down thoroughly. The cheese pull you get is foot long! The broth had a depth of flavor that is not replicated elsewhere. I had the honey pie years ago and remembered that it was sweet, but very good. We didn't have room for dessert, but the maple amaretto creme brulee sounded amazing. All in all, a great meal everytime.

We sampled a bunch of different menu items. The classic beef tartare, one of the listed favourites,…read morecan be divisive and not for everyone. Personally, it was a treat for me trying out something different, but I do not think everyone would appreciate its almost raw meat and liver-like texture. The Tartare comes with fries, a salad, and crouton to round up the order. We upgraded the side of fries that came with the Tartare into their Tout Cochon poutine. I was happy with that option that way I was able to sample their house poutine without needing to dedicate a full meal order for it. I can say this was among the best poutines I have had. The gravy was rich and flavourful. The poutine was also loaded with a variety of different proteins like the Gaspor farm ham and the bacon-wrapped sausage. The perron cheese curds also perfectly topped off the whole dish. Our last order was the Quebec pork chop marinated and grilled with maple and tamari. It was served with apple chutney, sweet potato mash, and seasonal vegetables. It is exactly as you would expect with the ingredient details of the dish's name. You get a lot of different flavour profiles and textures with the meal order. Some saltiness with the pork chop then some sweetness with the apple chutney. Meaty tenderness with the pork chop, mushiness with the potato mash, and then some slightly crunchiness with the seasonal vegetables. We dined on Sunday lunchtime the day before Family Day. There were people waiting to be seated by the time we arrived, but fortunately our group of only 2 people has a table spot available so did not need to wait. We were led down flights of stairs to the lower floor which was level with the street below. The whole place with its classic walls and decor exudes with classic charm.

They have limited patio seating outside (beware of mosquitoes) and more indoor seating inside but beware of (1) heat (it's hot and stuffy inside) and (2) no cellular network (yes, put down your phone). Their service is okay, not the greatest and speed is on the slower side. When I went (July 2015) they had the following specials: $7 Onion soup $7 Escargots $14 Poutine $18 Nachos with 2 Beers (12oz) $18 Appetizers - 4 Wings, 4 Chicken strips, 4 poppers and fries $8 Sangria glass $14 Sangria half-litre $24 Sangria pitcher Their house wines ($7.50/ glass or $15/ half-litre) weren't bad. If you see a "TH" price that basically means making it a combo so you get the entree at that price plus a choice of either appetizer OR soup (your choice but only the ones they list as "inclus". Also, you will get your choice of dessert AND tea. I had the following: Appetizer: smoked salmon salad and escargots - Good Entree: ham hock (about fist size in portion), mussels and frites, fillet mignon and frites, fettuccine carabona - Good Tea: Green tea, English breakfast, pear and ginger - Good Dessert: Creme brulee, cheese cake and chocolate cake - Good Overall the food is good but isn't amazing. Service was okay but not over the top. Speed was a bit on the slow side. Decor is nice inside but hot and stuffy with no network. They take every form of payment but do not take American Express.
