Walk up stand for beaver tails. They also have ice cream and poutine. What is a beaver tails? Essentially a fry bread style donut. They add toppings. We did the mEHple - maple syrup, maple Crunchies, and dark chocolate syrup It was so good. The tail came out quickly. It was hot and fresh. So so so good. It was super messy to eat but I think that's to be expected. There's only a few benches so it's more of a grab and go place but it was worth it.

We recalled eating beaver tails during our previous visit to Canada, so wanted to have it again in Quebec. Found this little shop in the lower city of Quebec and popped in for a classic beaver tail with cinnamon. There is not much seating, and we had to squeeze by another group to sit. They mainly feature sweet and savory beaver tails but also have coffee and ice cream. No fancy coffee drinks though, to the consternation of some other visitors. I wanted to tell them, hey this isn't Starbucks. Go somewhere else if you want fancy coffees. Anyway, got our fix and it was relatively inexpensive for mid-day snack.

If you are in Canada and you love donut then you must try beavertails. It's a fried bread shaped like a beaver tail. Plenty of toppings to choose. This place also sells poutine.

Oh yes! Beaver tails! No silly, these are not the actual tails of beavers, they are long pieces of fried dough shaped in what looks like the tail of a beaver. Then you get your pick of toppings of what to put on it. It is that simple, and tastes great because of it. The price is great too! I got mine with strawberries, bananas, and a hazelnut spread and loved eating it. This is a great dessert or midday snack. If not for expanding waistlines I would have had one each day I was in Quebec City, but a one time deal is good enough for someone in his early 30's. There are not many places to sit inside, so be prepared to eat one on the go. No matter, it will still taste great.

Delicious treat after a night of cocktails! This place was very busy, so that's a good sign. Hot spot for desserts, such as beaver tails and ice cream. I got beaver tail bites with maple and bacon. Soooooooo good!!!!! Excellent and fast service.

The fry doe was large and hot got ice cream to go with it for a warm / cold combo that made both better. Service was nice and quick. Store was small on the inside. No parking

Beaver tails for after dinner or anytime of the day! It is so good that we went back for second before leaving Quebec City. Nice cosy shop and staff prepare the warm crispy crust with your pick of toppings from maple syrup to peanut butter with smarties! A must try when in Quebec City.

Most delicious thing I had in Quebec City! I'm not a guy that goes for overly sweet things, but I will recommend the beaver tails! I was quite skeptical about this place as I entered the store, but the bread base they used was a chewy/crispy pizza crust consistency topped with whatever you want. I got the Bananarama, which was a Nutella and sliced bananas on the flat bread. They were extremely generous with the Nutella that I could only take a few bites and was happy the share the rest with my sister and mom. But overall, I was amazed by the flatbread and how the bread and Nutella/banana complemented each other. I couldn't stop thinking about getting another beaver tail. Next beaver tail will be the La Classique!

I was told that beaver tails were a must-try dessert in Quebec! It is fried donut dough shaped into a large oval shape (like a beaver tail!). I ordered the Bananarama, topped with chocolate hazelnut spread and banana slices. It was delicious, and the combo of the spread and banana slices was just the right amount of sweetness.

Bomb fried dessert. I got the Nutella beaver tail and it was delectable. Pretty consistent line out of the building all night. Try it out if you're in Quebec!

Beavertails are so good. If you're from America, it's much like an elephant ear but better!

We tried the India which was a butter chicken sauce with chicken and mushrooms. It was a fun dish with good flavor gravy. Odd choice to me to put mushrooms in it since I've never had butter chicken with mushrooms. The Chicken was thin sliced, I was expecting more like chunks. Regardless this was a solid 4 in my book. We also tried the Hat Trick which is basically a three meat poutine with bacon, ground beef and hot dogs. This was also solid, not as unique, but good. Probably a 3.75. we ordered the mega sized for both, which made the 2 dishes enough food for 3-4 people depending how hungry you are. We wanted the leftovers. The down side to this experience was the service. The place was nearly empty. The server passed us with a pitcher of water in have and didn't even fill the glasses. When we ordered a diet Pepsi instead of getting a fountain drink we got it in a can (both options were in the menu, fountain was cheaper), why not ask us if not sure what we want? At the end we waited a while to see the server and instead just ended up asking the hostess for our to-go containers. Nothing horrible, just meh. The takeaway, pretty good poutine with not so hot service.

The hand‑cut fries were hearty, the gravy was generous without being overwhelming, and the curds had that satisfying squeak. A great choice when you want something cozy and indulgent after braving the cold.

Have these people never had a burger before? There's nothing wrong with the burgers here, but there's also nothing right about them. They're burgers. Meat, bread, lettuce, sauces..yep. It's a burger. I forgot I even went here by the next day and was only reminded by pictures I took. It's basically the Quebecois version of whatever one step up from an Applebee's would be, but with a premium price tag and hype. Any other burger in town would probably be just as good if not better. Side was pretty bad. Basically burnt tofu. Service was lacking, but there. I was tended to in the most basic 'there's another table to get through' way possible. Check took a long time to get to me and I ended up just walking up to the counter. Not sure why. There weren't a lot of people there.
