We got the fruit platter, and it instantly reminded us of a similar experience we had on our trip to London. Such a sweet vibe from the moment you walk in, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely made the experience even better!
Super sweet place! They have literally anything chocolate you can think of. The Dubai chocolate trend is so in here too. Must try it when you're in Long Beach!
Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I was craving chocolate and strawberries and was at LBX so I decided it was time to try Chocolate Bash. I ordered the chocolate strawberry cup and was hoping it would be similar to the viral chocolate strawberry cup from Borough Market in London. Unfortunately at Chocolate Bash they use chocolate shell, not chocolate syrup, which wasn't clear when ordering. All that lovely chocolate hardened into a weird chocolate prison surrounding the strawberries in the cup. Unlike a chocolate covered strawberry, where you get a nice crispy thin layer of chocolate, this resulted in clumps of overly thick chocolate which completely separated from the strawberries. It was impossible to get a balanced bite. The strawberries themselves were nice and ripe, which was a plus, but overall this just didn't work as a dish.
Dubai Chocolate strawberry waffle cone was so good! Chocolate was rich and creamy, the strawberries were sweet and the pistachio cream was next level. 10/10 would come again!
I was randomly craving a late-night dessert and settled on Chocolate Bash. It was moderately busy upon arrival. I enjoyed their no-contact method of ordering, as you place your order on a kiosk. Their menu was extensive and offered a variety of chocolate-based desserts, from ice cream sundaes to chocolate-covered strawberries. The service was generally good and speedy. The shop is small, clean, and offers indoor seating. I ordered a chocolate brownie sundae, and it was ready just a few minutes after ordering. The sundae was good, but I wish there had been a better ice cream-to-brownie ratio as it primarily consisted of brownie chunks. Overall, Chocolate Bash was a valid one-and-done experience, and I'd recommend it if you're in the area looking for a chocolate-flavored dessert.
Sweet treat mode activated. Chocolate bash saved me by being open late. I ended up ordering their rolled crepes with Nutella and strawberries with Ferrero rocher. Straight fire. gasolina. My entire mouth was filled and stuck with Nutella. It was a dream tho. They gave me about 6 strawberries, 8 rolled crepes and each one had the Ferrero rocher piece inside of it. It was my dream of hazelnut and chocolate fantasy. I do not even want to know the calories and sugar count on this sweet treat but this is like a once in a blue moon for me. For the cream puffs, it was Dubai chocolate style and it did not taste like Dubai chocolate at all. It was lackluster, and I wish it had more pistachio flavor to it. Pricing is up there, but so is the entire chocolate industry. I can't say I see myself coming back, but it was a great treat to try! You order on a screen. Their restroom wasn't working at the time I visited. It's a nice sized spot with seating outside as well.
There are 2 self kiosk stations to order your desserts. There were so many options that it took us a bit to order. We got two shakes and a chocolate covered strawberry. Located in an outdoor plaza across from the Hangar, parking is a shared lot and there are a lot of spaces available. The interior looked like ice cream with the walls looking like chocolate fudge dripping down. Very cute. There are a few long tables that are great for groups and if you are just a party of two, there are some smaller tables outside or you share the larger tables with other people. The service was fast and nice. He gave me an extra strawberry for free, that was very nice of him. I tipped them before placing my order. Restroom requires a code and to show the numbers, you must press the finger scanner on the top. It was a single room that is wheelchair accessible.

Came for the Dubai strawberry cup. It looked amazing and with this variation being a hit on social media, it was an easy choice to check out Chocolate Bash. The kiosk is convenient to order but I wasn't sure the cup was going to come out exactly as I had in mind-it was easier to order at the counter. We were with friends and grabbed a seat to enjoy our goodies. I must admit, I was mostly underwhelmed. The strawberries were frozen and weren't sweet at all. For $17.99 I definitely expected better. Maybe the strawberries weren't in season and I may have to give it another go with something else on the menu. If I'm in the area again, I might make an attempt to try something else.
To my surprise, I really liked the Dubai strawberry cup. I thought it would be overly sweet. Since my sister is getting one, we shared a medium cup. The strawberries were sweet and the chocolate over it made it melt in my mouth. So yummy!! Wished they put more kanef over the dessert. Would I get it again for $15?... Yes! Located in the LBX, right next to Panini Grill. We skipped dessert after our meal and head over to Chocolate Bash!
Worst experience ever walked in waited for about five minutes. No one helped us. There is a tablet where you could order, but I'm old-school. I actually wanted to order in person since there was only one customer already eating and a few people in the back that never came out to help us. I will never be back anyways we walked to handles a few stores back. We received great service. LOL.
We got the crème puff selection! Oh my heavens. Talk about a treat! These mini puffs are perfect bite size to be able to taste each dipping sauce. Personal favorite is the pistachio. Staff is super friendly and I get a cavity every time I visit the shop. This place is like a mini piece of heaven!
I recently visited Chocolate Bash at the Long Beach Exchange (LBX) with a couple of friends, curious to try the trending Dubai chocolate everyone's talking about. The shop is located in a busy shopping plaza with plenty of parking, and it was clearly a popular spot. The store was packed when we arrived. The inside felt a bit chaotic and it wasn't immediately clear who was taking orders. It seems like a family run business, which I appreciate, but the ordering process could use a little more structure. Thankfully, I used the self service tablet which made things much smoother. It helped they had photos too. My order was prepared quickly. I went with the strawberries dipped in Dubai chocolate and they were delicious. I definitely would order them again. My friends got ice cream and really enjoyed theirs as well. We also picked up a Dubai chocolate bar and it was super tasty. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the layout inside the store, even though there's outdoor seating the inside feels a bit cramped and could be more inviting, since it's in a trendy area, upgrading the space to make it more inviting, especially with updated walls and ceiling decor would definitely elevate experience. I'd come back!

I googled to check where is the nearest store i can buy and try the DUBAI chocolate bar ( made of pistachios) that's been trending. I called this place Chocolate Bash if they have that's pistachios and they do sell them, after work I stop by and bought couple, bars its $10 each. It's good!! Not too sweet which i like the most but its so thin, a little pricey, add more pistachios please!!!must stay in refrigerator. Service is fast, location by LBX read more

If you are in the mood for a sweat treat, this is the place to go. The crepes are delicious and they can be made with multiple flavors. I tried the Nutella and cookie butter crepe. And don't forget the vanilla ice cream on the side. The warmth of crepe paired so good with the coldness of the ice cream. The reason for four stars is because the presentation could have been better. We saw pictures online of the crepes with intricate designs and ours didn't look like that. read more

My husband and I wanted a after dinner treat and found this spot on Yelp. They are located at LBX and a prime place near restaurants and establishments. Fun ambiance, casual yet unique, friendly staff, many options for dessert, easy to order at the monitors in front or at the counter. We got the strawberries dipped in chocolate (they gave us an extra one on the house) and a banana with dark chocolate skewer. Really really good desserts and very fresh. I had to take off two stars. The Bathrooms need monitoring and maintenance. Almost no toilet paper, no paper towels. Previous customer didn't flush the toilet and it smelled like cigarette or vaping. It was a pleasant experience until I visited their restrooms. read more

A good place to satisfy your sweet tooth! Desserts are a little pricey but they also use really good quality chocolate and the portions are shareable. Although I tend to not share especially when I'm craving sweets hehe. My go-to order is a crepe topped with banana, strawberry, and Nutella. But today I tried the banana roll, wrapped in a crepe and topped with Nutella. For $10, I thought this was a pretty good deal. Definitely rich so you could probably order it with slightly less chocolate since they make everything to order. It's a cute place to eat after a dinner date or catch up with friends. I was at the Hanger and this place caught my eye with just their name was enough for me to want to check it out , I walked in and was greeted right away with a smile , they have two self order & pay stations so you can also look at the menu as as you choose what to order . After I placed my order they quickly started making our shakes and ice cream cup. And now this is my new favorite place for shakes! And you're also able to choose dairy, oat milk or almond milk for those that like alternative to dairy products! I ordered a Butter Cookie shake with Oat milk and it was amazing delicious! It's now my favorite type of shake and usually I'm a Chocolate lover but that's how good it was. I did try the chocolate Oreo shake with milk ( traditional milkshake style) and it too was super delicious! I would definitely drive back out this way just for there shakes. They make crepes which looked and smelled great when they were making for another customer, so I will definitely try next time. Tried this place today for the first time with my daughter. Love that they are open later. Things tend to close a little sooner at the shopping center so I appreciate the longer hours. We got prompt service. The shop is really cute with a wide variety of chocolate options from drinks to food, I would recommend sharing some thing I am a sweets lover but it was even a lot for me! It was so yummy though I got a brownie ice cream. My daughter got a shake and we took three Oreos to go. The servers were polite. The prices seem decent. Only two things I would recommend changing. I was sitting in there with my seven-year-old daughter, and there was music playing with a ton of F words. Also, the spoon I was given, for my ice cream wasn't sturdy and kept bending, almost breaking while I was eating. [3.5 ] Food: The bash roll was huge and dense, but could have been fluffier inside. Lava cake was standard but still a tasty treat. Chocolate marshmallow was too sweet for me - I prefer mine in Rice Krispies or hot cocoa. Loved the vanilla bean ice cream! We enjoyed our desserts in the truck bed with our dog. Service: Customers order at the counter and wait for their food to be called. Ambiance: The inside is small, but there's space to sit and eat. read more
Great place, great dessert. There's some indoor seating but probably just enough for 20-25 people? Which isn't bad but I could see this place getting really busy - we happened to be there on a day it rained. Aside from the delicious dessert you'll be served, You're gonna need something to drink haha the chocolate is very rich and perfectly melted. The crepes are perfectly cooked and you really do get a lot for what your paying. My friends and I each got our own thing but we should have shared. It was a very sweet treat. The self prefer kiosks were very helpful but the staff was attentive as well. I look forward to trying more of their creations! I'll just make sure to have it with milk! read more

Brand new dessert location at the LBX next to Panini grill cafe. Soft opening today, 11/25/22. Husband and wife owned. Very friendly and great service. They gave us a chocolate covered strawberry on a stick and the Belgium Chocolate on the strawberry was delicious. We also ordered the sampler plate which includes waffles, mini pancakes, and crepe. You pick your toppings! Yum!!! Will definitely be back to try their coffees and boba drinks. read more

Disappointed in the presentation and quality. Ordered chocolate covered strawberries for $55 through UberEats for Valentines Day and they arrived all loose in the box and looked a mess. Very sloppily made. Also the photo they show online shows nine strawberries, there were only 8. The leaves on the strawberries are moldy!! Next year I'll get chocolate covered strawberries from Costco instead. read more

The crepes here are delicious! Service was excellent, quick and efficient! They custom made my crepe to order. Location is located at the LBX hangar so its order, pay, and go find an open table to sit and eat at. Ambiance is open and fun. Highly recommend this place for delectable sweets! read more

Lots of spread out parking shared with several eateries and businesses. Perfect place for chocolate lovers. Nice plus to find this dessert place open through the evening. We tried the mini pancakes, waffle, crepe. Made to order, they were fresh, warm, all had a good texture, smothered with chocolate the way we love it! You can order on the iPad and choose several types of toppings. Other desserts displayed were chocolate strawberries and chocolate dipped s'mores to name a few. Honestly this was disappointing, it was super basic and the ice cream was not good. The viral Dubai chocolate strawberry cup was not good at all and it was almost $20! The chocolate bar it's self also not good. Not worth the hype for $80! I would not return for something so over priced that's not even worth it. read more
