    2023 advent calendar: sugar free
    Chris D.

This is a sugar free / Keto friendly candy company located in Fullerton, CA. They don't have a physical store but you can order off their website or find their products at different stores. I stick with their website since it's free shipping if you spend $35. They ship it in a cooler with ice packs so you don't have to worry if it's a hot day. This is seriously the best sugar free candy on the market. They use monk fruit to sweeten instead of artificial sweeteners and they load up the candy with fiber to cancel out any carbs. If you're diabetic or on a keto diet they are pretty much net zero carbs thanks to the fiber. Thanks to the monk fruit you won't get sick from it like you would from sorbitol and other sweeteners most sugar free products use. Unlike most sugar free products the prices for their products are pretty much the same as regular candy. They constantly add to their product line and the owner is very picky. If she doesn't like something herself she'll remove it. They had some sugar free pancake syrup she ended up hating so she refunded customers money without even asking. It wasn't that bad honestly! Their "Rhea" bar is their flagship item which is a full sized candy bar full of roasted peanuts, nougat, caramel and chocolate covered. If you handed me this and I ate it without knowing any better I would have no clue I was eating a sugar free candy bar with 28 grams of fiber! They also have AMAZING chocolate toffee covered almonds, tons of different barks, marshmallows, syrups for drinks, baking items such as chocolate chips, and much much more. My wife and I have pretty much eaten everything they sell and it's all good except their cookies. That's the only thing I've had where I'm like "hmm... something isn't right here". Was more about the texture of it than the taste. My wife didn't care for their chocolate peanut butter cups but I enjoyed them. If you're diabetic, wanting to reduce your sugar, on a keto diet, or just curious you really need to give this brand a try. I honestly can't imagine going back to regular candy. Just keep in mind though it's still candy. It's high in saturated fat so you still want to enjoy it sparingly.

ate marshmallows at 5 am and by 5:30 glucose was 181

I truly enjoy the freeze-dried marshmallows, but.....My blood glucose was 95 and I ate about 5 handfuls of these and it spiked to 181 within 30 minutes! While these are very tasty, they are not good for Diabetics. I had hoped that the high Fiber would offset the high Carb load, but it does not at all. This was on an empty stomach to honestly test them. Depressing news to me as I really like them and wanted something tasty to snack on :-(

Peanut butter cups! In milk, White and Dark Chocolate!

Simply amazing! I've been buying from this company online since early 2017 and everything they produce is top notch. Team that with speedy shipping and excellent customer service it's an easy 5 stars. They specialize in Sugar free items sweetened with Monkfruit. Chocolate, Syrups and spread with new products being released regularly even if your diet doesn't require Sugar free these are some of the products! So much better than any of the regular stuff I have found in the store. The syrups are thick and perfect for pancakes, baking, hot drinks ect and their Chocolate barks are so delicious! I'm impressed with everything this company has to offer!

    Love the maple syrup!

The chocolates are beautiful and really are eye catching, with different colors and shapes and great flavor profiles. For example, the earl grey chocolate has the essence of tea but is not overpowering with floral notes and certainly a great treat. I was able to sample several pieces with my kid although we primarily visited this shop to pick up the viral dubai chocolare (at least during the time when dubai chocolate flavor was getting hyped up). The service from the associates have always been great, as I've visited randomly since this location is close to Jamboree Rd and in the same plaza as a self car wash spot. It may be a bit pricey but it certainly is a unique chocolate boutique shop with lots to offer. It may sound very corporate, but I feel like this is the type of chocolate you would want to order to gift a bunch of office team members or to distribute as client gifts during the holidays. All in all, great shop with great chocolate!

Asian chocolates, on the other hand, tend to be lighter, less sweet, more delicate and subtle on the palate. Frenchian chocolates felt like they sat comfortably between both worlds. They were pleasant to eat, not as heavy or intensely rich as traditional Belgian chocolates, yet not bland or lacking in flavor either. The sweetness was well balanced, and the flavors were enjoyable without being overpowering. I probably would not go out of my way to purchase them again, but for those who prefer chocolates that are not too sweet or too bold in flavor, these would suit their palate well. Overall, I had a good time tasting them. Happy Valentine's Day!

Everything in its place boxes and boxes of delectable chocolates abound this chocolatier. What I love most about it is the free samples, of course, it is like Costco, but in chocolate for me. I did get a small block of the dark chocolate with hazelnut and tried about three more of their beautifully handcrafted chocolate bites, they do not skimp. Jessica was patient while I asked questions which she happily answered and tried one of the usual w/ ganache that was OK so I chose some that had some nuts in it. All in all this was a very delightful experience and would joyfully return but with small hesitation because it's just devilishly good & sinful! The chocolates were placed in a glass case the same way precious stones & gems are displayed. Simply fabulous. Had a wonderful time here. Topnotch!

I remember when I was a kid, my mom would bring home numerous boxes of See's candies from work as she was gifted them from various families of patients she took care of and of course the dark chocolate almond was the favorite pick then. I'm happy to report the product tastes the exact same from when I was a kid to now which is rare. I feel like a lot of products have changed over time but not See's. I forget that there's a See's in my neighborhood and recently was eating lunch across the street and decided to stop in to see if they sold just dark chocolate almond candies and they did! They were in one of those rotating display stands by the register and it was 1 pound for $16! The line kind of moved slow and I was in a rush and getting annoyed so once I got to the front I was just in a go-go-go mode. Patti O. rang me up and asked me how I was doing, but the way she asked it felt genuine. I haphazardly asked her how she was doing and she said she couldn't complain, she's selling chocolate all day so she's pretty happy. Something about that interaction instantly put me in a good mood and made me slow down. I smiled and then she looked at my purchase and told me good choice and then proceeded to put some samples into a separate bag and told me she put some milk and dark chocolate truffles in there for me. It was like my grandma sneaking me chocolates for later! I literally was not expecting to get anything from this store except those dark chocolate almonds but it made me feel like I was a kid again. Thank you Patti O!
