The wait staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is what I would expect from a Sonoran dog and taco place. Nothing fancy but clean and cute with mouth-wateringly delicious food. What more do you need? We both ordered a regular Sonoran dog and a carne asada taco. I also ordered horchata which was ice cold and wonderful. They have a great selection of toppings for tacos, so I opted for onion and cilantro, pico de gallo, hot sauce and a sprinkling of cotija. Sorry I didn't get a pic but I did wolf it down because it was so good. The Sonoran dog was equally delicious! We'll definitely return to BK's! Delicious food that doesn't break the bank. I definitely want to try some of their mixed drinks next time!

We were sat promptly. The server was really nice and took my Michelada order. I got it with Tecate since they were out of Modelo. The michilada was perfect and refreshing! It's a must. They have a salsa bar. I thought it would have been for chips and salsa but no chips were offered. We ordered the original hot dog and a carne asada one. The hot dog was good but needed all the fixings. The carne asada one had hard chewy meat. May have been overcooked meat. It was hard to eat as it kept falling apart after the first bite.

Ahh what fun, a hot-dog stand teamed up with a Raspado stand. Great combo. First you can get a…read morehot-dog and coke, then get some desert. Little did I know it was buy one get one free day, so I ordered a dog and coke and ended up getting two. Perfect, because after the first one I definitely wanted more. The stand is two carts framed around the tables, makes a nice wind block. Though staring at the raspado menu is what ultimately led to me getting desert. Hot-dogs were fresh, bacon was flavorful. The buns were toasted (new favorite preference). They offered a topping bar with cheese, salsa, guacamole, and it all made for a great messy dog. Polish that off with a Macedonia. If you are not used to Mexican ice cream options you should definitely give it a try. Macedonia (at this location) is a mixture of fruit and ice cream. There was so much fruit in that cup I was constantly surprised at each layer I hit. The menu selection is all over the place, from nachos to Elote, to fruit salads. If you need a reason to try the south side, come down just to check out the menu........

The egg roll was actually decent. (I have high standards for egg rolls. They all compete with my Mom's, which can't be beat.) The noodles were alright. The fried rice is fried in the beef sop on the grill, so that's good Barely bumped up to the fourth star because it took so stinking long to get our orders. It took a good 20 minutes. By the time we got our food, we had to go back to work. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

This is one my favorite food trucks as well ! Veggie tofu with broccoli, carrots, onions, lettuce, peppers stir fried with tofu. The simple dish with astounding flavors and texture ! The tofu snags the first prize among its fellow mates in terms of having the crispy crunchy outer coating and softer inside. I'm a very happy person when I see a lot of tofu ! If there was a stir fry with only tofu, I would eat it everyday. So bottom line, tofu and tofu.( sounds like a cool name for a restaurant?!). Anyways, I'm yet to try their variety of other options which sound equally tempting. There is a bit of downtime involved because they are making the hot piping stir fry right when you order. You can always drop them a message with the time of pick up to save some time !

This is one of the more interesting Sonoran dog stands I've found so far, in that they don't just…read moregive you the same thing you could get anywhere else. Los Gordos gives you three options, of which I tried two: First, there's the "Ungaro," which is a standard Sonoran dog with a yellow chili and cheese in it. The added ingredients don't distract from the standard Sonoran dog flavor: they just kick it up a notch. For fans of the genre, this is definitely worth trying. Second is the "California," which replaces the standard bacon-wrapped hot dog with a flavorful (smoked?) beef sausage, topped with all the standard Sonoran dog toppings. For someone who's eaten as many Sonoran dogs as I have, biting into this thing can only be described as shocking. I'm not completely sure that I think the Sonoran dog toppings really go with the beef sausage, but it's not really possible for something like this to actually taste BAD -- it was just odd. The sausage itself was also really good, so that helped. Again, I'd say this is worth trying, though perhaps more for the novelty than because I think it's really an improvement on the standard. I didn't write down the name of the third hot dog on offer, but I think it was called a Percheron. In any case, the guy said he didn't have all the ingredients to make me one, so tough luck (though it's not like I was going to eat three hot dogs). If I happen by the stand again, I'll try to get the scoop. But overall, this was a pretty fun Sonoran dog experience -- if you're in the area, I'd definitely say to check these guys out.
