All the entrees came with soup (Hot & Sour Soup or Egg Drop Soup), an appetizer (Egg Roll or Crab Puffs), and rice (Fried Rice, White Rice, or Brown Rice). We all ordered the Hot and Sour soup and did not like it. The soup was too sweet and not spicy at all. The Egg Roll was alright and tasted like the egg rolls you get from the frozen aisle. The Crab Puffs tasted stale. All the entrees tasted good. They all had good flavors. We liked the Mongolian Beef the most out of the three dishes. We all ordered brown rice and it was alright. After I sat down and was already eating my food the restaurant asked me to move to another table which was a booth in the corner which was the darkest table in the restaurant. I like bright well lit tables because I read while I eat and I always dine alone. The reason why they asked me to move was because four very obese men couldn't fit in that darkest booth in the far corner of the restaurant, because there was no room in the booth for their bellies to fit. They had to sit in the independent chairs at the table where I was sitting and I was only one person eating at that table for four by myself. They could have waited till I was done eating. So I did move when they explained why and I saw the 4 men waiting there, but honestly I don't think this request that I move when I was ready eating at that table would have happened if this were not a Chinese restaurant, and I say that because I am Chinese. Let me start with the eggrolls, because these deserve their own paragraph, possibly their own zip code. These are not ordinary eggrolls. These are eggrolls that make other eggrolls question their life choices. Crispy. Perfectly browned. Packed with flavor. The kind of eggroll where you take one bite and immediately start calculating whether it would be socially acceptable to order six more and pretend they're for the table. I'm officially declaring them the best eggrolls in town. If there is a better one somewhere, I assume it is guarded by monks in a mountain temple and requires a three-day hike to obtain. Annette and I ordered the Mu Shu Chicken, which arrived looking like it had just graduated with honors from the University of Deliciousness. The flavors were bright, balanced, and so satisfying that I briefly considered applauding our server.
