I started going to Dr. Hankel for 6 sessions before leaving for Army Basic Training. I came in with a knee injury from hiking, injured hips, and allergies. Dr. Hankel is so magical and so impressive that she literally fixed ALL of my issues. Just wait until you read this truly incredible list of ailments she alone cured for me with her chiropractic care: 1. I've been on allergy medication since I was a year old - and for the first time in 30 years I was able to stop taking allergy medication on a daily basis! 2. She fixed my digestive track! I had celiac that was triggered after getting sick overseas in Argentina, and I hadn't eaten gluten in nearly 3 years until getting cured by her. I actually didn't even know she fixed me until I had to eat gluten while at Basic Training; and suffered no issues at all from doing it. I also attribute her chiropractic care to what made the training so easy while not being on any supplements. 3. She aligned my hips and fixed my knees to also help me successfully complete basic training. 4. The Joint seemed decent for mild adjustments, but the fast food health care style made me wonder if you were truly getting the best since different people could be seeing you, but you had the convenience factor of multiple locations. I would like to reiterate CONVENIENCE factor - is a huge draw to the business model - hence fast food health care. I've had a pain in my back for a few days and thought - I'm going to go take advantage of my pre-established relationship with The Joint for a quick adjustment. I walked in and a gentlemen was in right before me. He was a new patient and the lady behind the desk was explaining some stuff to him about the mountain of paperwork she was giving him. She said something about some people not being able to see well, I don't know if she was referring to the iPad option, but I sort of cringed - like why say that to someone - let them tell you if they are having a hard time seeing well. Boy was I in for a surprise myself after he abandoned his paperwork and left. I had my membership card still on my keys and so I scanned it, assuming that maybe I'd need to update some information. My address has changed, I am paying cash, and my health information hasn't changed much.
