The insurance coordinator, front desk staff, and PTs and PTAs are absolutely wonderful. My child has also utilized the facility for their sports performance program to build stabilizing muscles and bulk muscle safely so that he will reduce his chances for injury as he grows. The facility inside is gorgeous and everything still looks new. The PTs keep everything clean, even wiping it down once more before you use it. We have also used 2 other PT organizations in the area and like 1 of the 2. However, NSMI does sponsor Loudoun Soccer and we were seeking sports-specific rehabilitation for soccer and kicking in football.

They received my referral from my doctor's office via fax and had access to my x ray scans from my emergency visit to the ER as well. My appointment was with Dr. Goodwin. When I arrived, the receptionist immediately acknowledged me and started having me fill out paperwork for my first time visit. Shortly after, I was taken back by a nice nurse. I was able to speak with Dr. Goodwin and he was so nice, professional, and really listened to my concerns. After my appointment I was advised to receive physical therapy. I sat down with a physical therapist who took the time to book me some appointments and really work with fitting me in given my strict work schedule. It was so refreshing to not feel rushed or blown off because the dates they had available and the hours I worked were opposite. The physical therapist was able to work around my schedule and get me a few starting sessions on file. Overall my first impression of this office was nothing but positive from beginning to end. The staff are welcoming, accommodating, and make you feel comfortable. The facility is clean, inviting, and upmost welcoming. I have my first physical therapy appointment next week and am looking forward to coming back here. Side note: with my insurance, most places that accept my insurance have physical therapists who do not accept my insurance (or if they do it's only 1 therapist who has no openings). Here, if they accept your insurance to see the Doctor, then they accept that same insurance for any physical therapist you see. That was a huge plus for me.

As part of my treatment, I received dry needling. While the physical therapist didn't even bother to tell his name or walk me through the process, he was quick to make me sign a piece of paper so they could charge me money for dry needling. Not only did they immediately charge an additional $55 for the dry needling--on top of the regular visit fee and my co‑pay--but the lack of sanitation and customer service was alarming. Shortly after the appointment, I developed a serious bacterial infection directly at the treatment site. This resulted in two emergency room visits at Reston Hospital, lots of tests (lab, ultrasound, x-ray, CT scan) and I was told I was at risk of losing my limb. No patient should ever have to go through something like this. The clinic's poor cleanliness, unsanitary practices, and unclean treatment tables are unacceptable. I'm sharing my experience so others are aware and can make informed decisions about their care. What happened to me was frightening, preventable, and should never occur in a healthcare setting. I am sharing this so everyone can be aware of the lack of carelessness and cleanliness of this clinic.

It's a much smaller center than Ashburn but much of the same equipment. Lots of PT demand clearly in the center. I was able to complete my back exercises but it was in a smaller area. Fortunately, we had a room normally used for evaluations so wasn't as congested. Easy parking and right behind the CVS. It's a longer ride but close to my nieces' house (for now) and so I used the drive to drop off some packing boxes. Jessica is a really good therapist specifically recommended by one of the best pain management Doctors so I would go again if that was the lonely appointment time available. The Ashburn center is much more convenient to Ashburn/Sterling folks.

I have worked with several PT's there so far as it's good to rotate as everyone has their own unique technique. I have gotten good results from my injured shoulder that was at first though I might have to have surgery. But now I can sleep without pain and it seems to be getting better. Tomorrow I'm having the dry needling and I'm confident in that experience as they are all very caring and I love visiting with them all during my appointment. Convenient and the staff is great. Recommend it to anyone that needs help. The office and PT area is nice and comfortable.
