I've made the massage appointment. But when we went there, my appointment was only made for Dr. Visit. Dr. Has asked a bunch of questions and no treatment. I paid $110 for that. If I needed this worthless visit, I could have made an appointment for the in-network place. Also, while waiting in the small room, I could hear patients in the next rooms since they didn't have private rooms. This assistant guy was so loud. I had to cover my ears. Couldn't stand it. The music they play is not relaxing. It's like clubbing music. I'm Never going to this horrible place again. I've already made an appointment somewhere else for a massage. The best! I recommend OM Center to everyone. I'm very active and an avid cyclist. If you've ever seen a cyclist on a bike, you know that posture is awful... The doctors at OM have been wonderful. They have an extensive diagnostic review that made me feel confident they determined the correct issue for me. I have been with Dr. Misra for over 10 years now and I have never found a more knowledgeable and caring chiropractor. I currently live in NJ and I STILL drive down to see him every few months. He takes the time to asses what's going on and also properly educates you on how to keep yourself as pain free as possible, which I find most chiropractors don't do; usually it's a quick crack of the neck and "ok see you in a week!" Seeing his health clinic grow has truly been a pleasure to see because everyone who works there deserves it. They staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful as well. Having seen Dr. Hervey as well in the past few years has also been a pleasure; incredibly kind and knowledgeable as well. So happy to see him included. It is also wonderful and I think incredibly beneficial that they pair manual therapy (Savannah is the best!!), yoga (Julianne is also incredible working one on one with), hypnotherapy and other various practices with the chiropractic work. I had sinusitis when I went for my adjustment at The OM Center. I shared with Dr. Mann my concerns and painful areas in my body, including my face, neck and throbbing headache. Dr. Mann not only adjusted me but she addressed my sinusitis and applied pressure in the necessary spots on my face and neck which provided relief to my congestion and headache. The icing on the cake, since my adjustment and excellent chiropractic services, my sinuses started to drain and the pressure in my head and face was released. Dr. Hervey was so kind to call me directly, calm me down and squeeze me in his calendar the next day - which I've never had any other doctor do before, so that speaks volume to me. I knew I made the right choice to go to The OM Center for my PT after I fractured my elbow. Receiving treatments from Dr. Misra in the past few months has been very effective and successful. I received different treatment methods including heat and laser therapy, deep tissue message, dry needling, adjustments, etc. My progress and healing were noticeable as I was able to extend my elbow from 85% to 99%. I've been a patient here since August 2016 when I was not healing from a Spring injury under the care I had been receiving. There are numerous reasons why I love this practice and I will do my best to explain them here. 1. Dr. Misra is exceptionally intuitive. In your first appointment, he takes an hour to really listen to your symptoms and complaints and asks really great questions to pinpoint what's going on. He then scans the body itself and finds more questions to ask. In my case, my main complaint was that I had a crippling foot and leg pain that was not getting better. I was hobbled and having trouble walking and was stiff. Not cool for someone who spends their outdoor free-time doing long mile walks and hikes. :-( He ended up ordering an x-ray, as it appeared to be a hairline fracture, based on the amount of pain when touched. As he is also specialized in rehabilitation, he got me doing PT exercises, etc. to work on the foot. He also realized that my lower back pain was due to a sprain (mainly job-related) and he had me start manual therapy on my hips, legs and feet, which is NOT a spa massage by any means. It is deep tissue massage that breaks up adhesions and scar tissue. I've had every one of the massage therapists work on me and they are all VERY good. I was also set up with his wife, a yoga rehabilitation expert, who worked with me twice to create a personal at- home 15-minute routine to open the hips, strengthen the lower back, be more flexible. and through this routine of PT, manual therapy, yoga, and chiropractic adjustment (plus seeing my old podiatrist-see that post for more), I'm no longer hobbled getting out of bed and can actually walk and hike again. 2. I started getting chiropractic at age 13, so I'm really familiar with the different techniques. I am a hard patient because I have a hyper mobile neck and it will often go back out as a doctor is working on me OR it won't budge and I'm in more pain for a day or two after I leave. I also pull shoulder muscles fairly often (who knows why-well, okay, I DO, I carry too many bags, etc at a time and I have yet to learn. Plus, I spend a lot of the day working on a computer and not in ergonomically-friendly positions). The only doctors that seem to be able to get this to really adjust have had to have me do warm heat and stim beforehand or massage/stretch the area or both. Dr. Misra has what I would like to call, "magic hands." He finds ways to contort my body in order to really get things to move and most of the time, with very little soreness. We decided to try and do the adjustments, yoga, and manual therapy for the upper back too. The adhesions have really broken up there as well, but that one dang shoulder refuses to comply. Not surprisingly, but the muscles keep pulling out the neck vertebrae and so the vicious pain cycle continues and prevents me from lifting weights which, once I can do again, will strengthen EVERYTHING and I will need less intensive care and more maintenance care. So I decided to try dry needling; it's different than acupuncture (old pro at that as well) and I've only done 2 of 4 sessions, and I won't tell you I feel amazing for the first 48 hours, but I CAN see and feel a difference. 3. And this is the big one. He accepts insurance, which isn't that surprising or novel, but depending on your insurance and diagnosis, the manual therapy, the yoga with Julianne are COVERED. Yes, you read that right. COVERED. Why? Because of his certificates and specialties. I can't tell you how many great massage therapists I saw in the last twelve months (ror lifetime) where even if I was paying discounted rate because of multiple sessions purchased, they were extremely helpful, but the money adds up. I saved so much money just making the switch. It's the whole amazing bang-for-your-buck-deal. (Note: dry needling is NOT covered by any insurance, but he keeps the rates affordable). They also have reiki (not insurance covered). Terri Lund is wonderful. Dr. Misra and the entire wellness staff work hard to determine the root of your issues and get you back on your feet as soon as possible. DO expect to do the suggested exercises and work. You won't regret it. I have to admit, it was really hard leaving my previous chiropractic center to come here, but I knew I needed more. I found it and I'm not looking back. read more

My inner warrior got the best of me, doing some tree removal, blah blah but needless to say, tree 1 - Me 0! Totally hoses back and was about to travel in two days. Called several places as I dint have a "regular" back Doc. This was calling on a Friday morning, about 7 or 8. Please forgive as I can't recall the name of the beauty that answered my call but in short, their attitude was a firm "yes we can" and they made a point to fit me in within an hour. Arrival was more of the same type professionalism with a bunch of smiling, happy and welcoming staff! After some new patient stuff I was back on the table. I won't bore with the therapy detail but it was clear these pro's know their business. After walking in with pain, it was quickly addressed / adjusted / fixed (and a few loud cracks) and I was out of there. I get that this case is unique but in my special situation they all went out of their way to DO something. In a business that often doesn't need new patients this was refreshing to see the level of trust and professionalism shown in just one visit. The to-go advice (since I was traveling) was spot on and I continue to practice these tips today many weeks later). I got long winded here but I believe in a business where customer experience and medical experience are combined it is rare to find such a gem and this place won my 5-star on both levels. Pros 1.) Misra helped my IT band issue. Offered great tips and tricks for treatment Cons 1.)Poor customer service (front office) 2.) Bullying you when you write a bad review on yelp. 3.) If you don't show up for a while they badger you to come back saying that further treatment is recommended 4.) strictest cancellation policy - I.e..unless you die you will be billed a cancellation fee - no excuses. I love the Om center! I've been seen by many chiropractors who I had hood connections with and enjoyed the practice but nothing quite prepared me for Om. It's a warm practice and the staff seem to genuinely want to be there for the most part. Dr. Hervey changed my entire perspective of chiropractors by educating me on how I can care for my body so I don't have to be in pain or see him so frequently. I love the way they teach you the exercises that are going to strengthen you and I've seen Dr. Mann get on the ground to demonstrate for people to help them better understand. They pull out all the stops to treat the parts of your body that you want to work on the most And also help you maintain being pain free. I've recently started seeing Dr. Mann the most and her adjustments are amazing. She listens to the body and does not over adjust but wants you to feel your best and designs care plans around that goal, educating, and healing. I've met Dr. Misra many times and he's just as kind. All the doctors want to make sure you have the best experience but also that you are feeling your best after each time you come. Though I've quickly gotten attached to the way Dr. Mann adjusts, I feel comfortable going to any doctor available at Om because their goals are the same across the board and they all take it very seriously. Is it weird to write a review for your chiropractor? I don't know, but I found this office through Yelp. Everyone I have encountered at this office is professional, friendly and really (seem to) care about my well being. I think that is why I love coming here. I have used different chiros (Dr. Misra is now the one I see regularly) as well as a couple different massage therapists at this practice. What I really find refreshing, is that Dr. Misra never seems rushed when he is working with me (even though I know he has patients waiting). Dr. Hervey is a miracle worker! Three days before a scheduled Spartan Beast, 14 mile obstacle race, I injured my calf. I could barely walk let alone run. Dr. Hervey told me to take it in stride, pun intended, and we did. He treated me for the next couple of days and I felt good but not real optimistic that it would stand up to the grueling race. I completed the race and I didn't set any speed records, but I hardly noticed the injury. Needless to say, the terrain was extremely challenging and it rained throughout the course of the race. But my calf felt 100% throughout. Without Dr. H and the staff of Misra Chiropractic, I never would have been able to complete my Spartan Trifecta. I've been too MANY chiropractors in my day...and I have to say...this is the BEST chiropractic care I've ever had. Both Dr Misra and Dr Patel are VERY thorough with the first inital "new patient appointment". These doctors are pretty "old school"...where they actually take the time and listen to what you have to say. Not too many doctors do that these days. When you come into the office you are welcome to sit back and relax in the waiting room where there are two LOVELY massage chairs which will make you melt into the seats. The treatments were so beneficial and when the doctors asked me to get medical massage by their certified massage therapists on staff, I thought I was in heaven. Dont get me wrong, this is not a relaxing massage. More of a "hurts so good" massage. The combination of chiropractic care provided by the doctors and the medical massages provided by the well trained massage staff is the best! Helped my back which went out...and my two separate knee injuries. On top of it, the front desk staff is so kind. Carol, Gina and Jennifer are the best! I have had several issues that Dr. Misra has been able to get me through and left me pain free and completely mobil. I'm sure without his care I would have chronic back and neck issues. I had a very bad case of carpal tunnel. My hands were swollen like a red balloon. Working with doctor Misra my hands, wrists and fingers have healed greatly. I had to miss six weeks of work because of this injury. I was able to avoid surgery using chiropractic care. I seem to be stable now. Both my wife (review below) and myself have been going to Misra for a while now. I have constant back pain from a previous injury and bad tension headaches. The waiting area is nice and has two massage chairs that are a joy to relax in, assuming you have time to relax because the staff is fast and courteous. There is not a day that I have sat and waited longer than 5 minutes for my appointment and if I show up early, they take me in early. Cost wise, I'm not sure on as my insurance thankfully takes care of the majority of that. Staff is very friendly and know you by name. The Dr. Patel (sadly is leaving) and Dr. Misra are great and I always feel better when I walk out. They also offer massages which have done me a lot of good. Dr. Misra and Julianne are absolute angels on this Earth, because they enthrall themselves entirely into the betterment and recovery of their patients. Dr. Misra and his team always have the patients' best interest at heart, and will do everything in their power to improve your quality of life. Misra chiropractic makes you feel like family, because they familiarize themselves so well with the conditions of the patients, are always compassionate and caring, as well as respectful to the needs of each individual patient's health conditions. I have suffered from a brain injury and cervical spine injury since experiencing a work accident in September 2013, when a broken ladder on a crane caused me to fall head first into the solid steel of a backhoe. Since this injury occurred I have suffered with daily pain, discomfort, daily migraines, shooting pains/spasms from my cervical spine and other modalities that Dr. Misra identified from the injury on my scans and assessment ( of which he has been correcting), as well as a multitude of other neurological symptoms. When I enter the office, since I always have pounding migraines, they even go through the effort to make me as comfortable as possible by turning out lights because of my photophobia, and turning down or off their music to help reduce my phonophobia and tinnitus. They also utilize ice packs to help decrease inflammation or flare ups from my muscle spasms/shooting pains in my neck during and after treatment. That level of care, kindness, and compassion is part of what makes Misra Chiropractic such an amazing place to get treated. I wasnt able to begin chiropractic treatment until a few years following the work accident due to insurance reasons, but nevertheless Dr. Misra worked with me and ensured me that he would do anything he could to alleviate my pain. Since seeing Dr. Misra beginning mid-way through last year to currently, I have been making leaps and bounds in recovery thanks to Dr. Misra and his staff. This has been the first, true and lasting relief from some of the pain that Ive been enduring since the fall of 2013. I am completely at awe with the magic that Dr. Misra performs in his office, because he has most certainly made great changes for me and is continuing to help improve my quality of life. This is the best chiropractic care I have ever had by far, and I have been going to chiropractors ever since 7th grade for scoliosis. Everything about my experience here has been unmatched. Number one. The waiting room has 2 massage chairs. So you can massage while you wait for your appointment! Number 2. Doctor Misra first has a full interview with you and does a complete physical exam. Sort of like a health profile interview. I really appreciated that part. Number 3. First treatment for me was always heat for a bit, then adjustment, then the roller thingy that you lay on. This treatment usually took a full hour, including essential small talk. WOW. I have been to so many chiropractors where you are in and out in like 5 minutes. The amount of care and attention to detail is crucial here. Doctor Misra also helped with my TMJ issue. So amazing. The FINAL NUMBER is cost. I have paid $85 cash per visit for a swanky waiting room and 10 minute adjustment in Rockville. Dr. Misra's price is half that. It came to the point where I didn't even care if insurance covered it because their price was so worth every penny of it and much more. You also get personalized exercises to do at home. The whole thing is very thorough. I highly recommend it to anyone who has had chiropractic care before. The difference is unbeatable. Another nice thing is that there is no push for the 'chiropractic lifestyle' or 'some vitamin brand that you MUST purchase' or an anti-pharmaceutical sentiment. I went to Misra for horrible back pain I was having from a sprain that tortured me for a year. During that time I had seen an orthopedist and multiple physical therapists with no relief or very little relief. I'm a physician and usually we don't believe in Chiros, but I had no choice. On day one with Dr Misra my pain was about 40% better. Within weeks I had improved a lot. Dr Misra is an expert and you will see quickly when you meet him that he is very trust worthy. I have recently sent my pregnant wife to see him for her back pain... So right there is my biggest endorsement. read more

I've been seeing Dr Sebora for about 9 months now. I had to find a new chiropractor in a pinch when I got pregnant and I found out my previous chiropractor didn't treat anyone prenatal. I was referred by my sister and did a lot of research before making an appointment. I'm not new to chiropractic therapy- I've been seeing one since I was a toddler and so I'm very picky about adjustment methods and different chiropractic philosophies. I really like that this office is relaxing and does not feel like a sterile Dr's office. It helped me to relax as soon as I arrived. The check-in system is entirely electronic as well. When you arrive, you will check in at a station that will walk you through prompts to track your symptoms over time. There is also tea and two massage chairs, which is great. I get there early and take some time to relax before my appointment since I'm generally arriving from work. For the adjustments, Dr Sebora doesn't use any of the adjustment tools. She performs everything manually, which I prefer. I don't like those metal adjustment guns that some Dr's use. The office also has the benches that can be adjusted to allow us pregnant ladies to lie on our stomachs - which is just a treat in itself! Depending on the issue I'm coming in for, I usually receive some heat therapy to warm up my muscles before the adjustment. I've also had some massage work for my sciatic nerve issue and (on occasion) ultra sound therapy as well. Overall, my experience has been enjoyable although my back and hips are still bothering me- I'm pretty sure this is just because I'm pregnant and things are constantly changing in my mody. I've had to go in every week to keep up with things that keep moving around as the baby grows. read more

I saw Dr. Sebora during my last trimester of pregnancy. I was experiencing lower back pain, especially in my sacroiliac joint. After a few sessions, my pain was gone and I felt so much better! Dr. Sebora performed the "Webster technique," a chiropractic technique for pregnant women. It helps open and balance the pelvis, and according to research, makes labor and delivery easier and quicker. I have nothing to compare it to, this being my first baby, but I had a super fast and easy delivery and I credit that to Dr. Sebora! She's so friendly, warm, and knowledgeable and I really love seeing her. I still see her for postpartum maintenance. Carrying a baby really throws my back and hips out of alignment! they do all type of exams when you first go in the clinic, they do not give you a clear picture of how much its going to cost. later they will send you a big check. Advice - save yourself by not going through all the exams they recommend unless you get a full picture of the amount that they are going to charge you for it. get it in writing. you will end up paying some during your visit and more when you get the bill. read more

Totally love Dr. Misra! I've been to a number of chiropractors and nobody compares. Staff is friendly and competent. He really takes his time to get to know you. First visit might be an hour or hour and a half so he can do a FULL assessment of you. He is highly knowledgeable and has helped me with issues that extend beyond my chiropractic care. He has also taken me last minute when I was in severe pain but didn't have an appointment - even though he was book he happily worked late in order to treat me. And he called me the next day to make sure I was doing okay!! It's rare to find a doctor that GENUINELY CARES about his patients - as Dr. Misra does. And....I've been a patient of his for roughly 8 years so - this review is based on him consistently providing this standard of care. I could not give a higher rating! read more
