Initially, I was hesitant due to a terrible experience with a chiropractor following a previous accident in 2005. However, based on a strong recommendation from a coworker, I decided to try chiropractic care again--this time with Dr. Baker. I'm so glad I did. From my first interaction with Chrissy at the front desk, I knew this would be different. She was friendly, patient, and very accommodating with my schedule. Chrissy thoroughly explained the cost and treatment process upfront, putting me at ease right from the start. At my first appointment, I received an X-ray, and Dr. Baker took a detailed history before creating a realistic treatment plan with clear expectations. He carefully explained what he saw in the X-ray, what areas we would focus on, and how my condition should improve throughout the treatment. After my very first adjustment, I felt instant relief, and with each appointment, my pain continued to decrease. Partway through my treatment, I became pregnant. Dr. Baker explained that chiropractic adjustments can be extremely beneficial during pregnancy, helping to alleviate the physical discomfort caused by the body's changes. Thanks to his care, I did not experience any lower back or hip pain throughout my pregnancy. The adjustments allowed me to move freely and sleep comfortably without the need for any pain medications, which was a huge relief. Due to this positive experience, I decided to continue seeing Dr. Baker for maintenance and wellness care. During one of my maintenance appointments, I mentioned that I had a migraine. I shared how medication rarely helps and often brings terrible side effects. Dr. Baker explained that adjustments can alleviate migraines, so I gave it a try. To my surprise, I felt instant relief--the pressure in my head and the nausea began to subside without any medication. This was a game-changer for me, and I've now been under Dr. Baker's care for almost six years. Even when Dr. Baker isn't available, the covering doctors, like Dr. Tong and Dr. Nemy, provide the same high-quality care. This consistency gives me peace of mind, knowing there's never a break in my treatment and I always receive the best care possible. The front desk staff is always professional, accommodating, and responsive. Although Chrissy has retired, she has been replaced by a team of equally capable and welcoming staff who continue to provide excellent service, ensuring the smooth experience I've come to expect. They genuinely work with your schedule, and I love how they answer the phone with, "I can help you," instead of "How can I help you?" It's the small touches like this that make the office experience so comfortable. What I also appreciate is how involved this office is in the community, holding annual events like a canned food drive and a back-to-school backpack and supplies drive. It shows they care about their patients and their community. Dr. Baker and his team have provided me with long-term relief and outstanding care, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality chiropractic care.

Within a short time, my back went into severe spasm, leaving me barely able to stand up straight or walk normally. The pain was so intense that I missed work, required multiple medical visits, muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatory medications, and weeks of recovery. Instead of helping me get back on my feet, the treatment set me back significantly. I understand that no treatment can guarantee results, but I was never expecting to leave in far worse condition than when I arrived. Looking back, I wish I had sought more evidence-based treatment instead. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this practice. I decided to give Dr. Mike a shot since he's part of our CrossFit community and has a great reputation at the gym. Being a former coach, he truly understands the movements we do and the intensity we train at. That made a huge difference. I also shared that I'm a busy mom and don't have a lot of extra time for long rehab routines, and he completely got it. He gave me simple, effective exercises I could realistically stick to, while actively working on rehabbing my shoulder. What I appreciated most is that he didn't just tell me to stop or "take it easy." He understood my goals and helped me keep moving forward safely without feeling like I was losing progress. Now my shoulder is completely healed. At my worst, I couldn't even lift my arm to shoulder height--now I'm back to doing everything in CrossFit, and honestly feel stronger than before. He didn't just fix the injury--he helped me build a better foundation so I can avoid this happening again. Highly recommend!
