Fun times at this casual beach restaurant and bar. Friendly and prompt service. Upstairs offers cool gulf breeze and a view. Downstairs is a hopping beach bar with TVs and corn hole outside. Fish is good here. Ladies that are cooking know what they are doing. On this day we had dolphin fish tacos. Very good. They also offer fish in bowls or sandwich.

A bar in the busy district of Grayton Beach with great views from one of the windows Crazy busy place this afternoon because of the spring break with kids of all ages Cuban sandwich was a bit smaller than the actual Cuban in South Florida but still ok considering the chef is not Cuban

The food is of average quality (for this area, meaning the seafood is fresh and tasty and prepared as expected) but pricey for the quantity you enjoy. The environment is also just average, with some fun things for kids or adults to enjoy (corn hole, for example), but some choices are odd, like the fake grass on the second floor. The staff seem quite robotic and cold. We had an early supper (4pm) on a Tuesday, so I can't believe they'd be tired and they certainly weren't overwhelmed at that hour. Both hostess and wait staff were just meh, no smiles to speak of and little help with ordering or questions about the menu. Worst of all, nothing but beer available--no cider or hard kombucha, and the cocktails were uninspired. Overall, this is barely a three-star spot.

Nice place to sit outside with dogs on the patio. Drinks were pretty expensive. Service was quick, but it was also 11am on a Wednesday. Beachy vibes inside. Nothing wild.

Chiringos is one of my favorite places down on 30A! The bar is always busy, but the drinks come out super fast. The ambiance is so fun and there is always a party happening. The staff and bartenders are very nice and they also have great food options here as well

Came here on a nice Saturday with a beach of the view. Vibe was really cool with surf boards and beach items all around. Server was great, and attentive to filling waters and making sure the bill was right at the end of the night. Food was a mixed bag as I loved my Cuban sandwich as it was huge and delicious. Multiple people in my group ordered blackened fish tacos/sandwich and got grilled fish with very little taste. Maybe just an off night for the chef. Would be willing to give them another shot as it is a cool place with a lot of good options on the menu.

We came here early in the day and just grabbed a couple of beers - thought they had a decent selection. Then after being at the beach for a few we came back and sat down outside. Got the tuna appetizer ( DELICIOUS) and perfect for a hot day, 2 kids meals , a salad & a lobster roll. The chicken was probably a little overcooked but the kids didn't care. Lobster roll was perfect and came back a side of melted butter. I will come back anytime in Grayton!

Food - 5 star Drinks - 5 star Service - 5 star This was on my wife's list to hit and so glad we did! The wings were some of the best wings I've had in a long time! The lobster roll was fresh and so good! The shrimp tacos were also super fresh, and good size shrimp (we did grilled shrimp, I highly suggest it) wings were big and meaty, grilled and tossed in a light sauce. Savannah was our server and she killed it!

Great vibes here, recommend sitting on the top level deck, good views. Service was friendly and great cocktail options.

The Caribbean wings! A fan favorite among family

Chiringo is one of our MUST-HAVE, GO-TO's when visiting Grayton Beach. Everyone is so damn friendly and happy to have you. The Sand Wedge is my absolute favorite drink, hands down. The snapper fish dip is consistently delicious! And while pricey, the lobster roll is worth every penny. The vibe is so warm and welcoming. We love everyone at Chiringo! What to order instead of seafood.

2/15/2025. Absolutely great service and response. However the kitchen was off tonight. I ordered grilled shrimp, received fried shrimp returned them, the server brought out grilled shrimp, first bite nothing but salt. I am sorry you didn't make what the server put in to order, that doesn't give you the right to sabotage the dish. Ten shrimp died in vain due to the kitchen's error/immaturity. The beans and rice were good, the guacamole is under salted and has a weird split cherry tomato garnish. The cucumber salad wasn't fresh and tasted like it was a sliced jarred pickle. At least the cheeseburger I ordered was good. This is a tourist seafood joint, order the cheeseburger instead.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Like the small menu because what they make is good quality and done well. Their French Fries are addictive!

Unbelievably good meal. Grouper a must try. Cool bar and upstairs open air seating was amazing. Don't miss this new addition to 30A.

Ask the Community - Chiringo

Is there parking available?

Yes, but pretty limited. Not a ton of spots there. However, if you can't find a spot there is a shuttle bus that will take you back and forth. It's about 2 miles up the road - very convenient.

Is the restaurant Dog friendly?

Absolutely. They usually have a water bowl right outside the bar seating for them.

Any vegan options?

Sorry for the delay, it may be too late since you asked a few days ago, but the answer is yes, there are choices.

The soup was my favorite crab soup out of the 3 I tried around 30a. We got the shrimp carbonara and shrimp and grits for our entrees. The carbonara portion was huge. Definitely enough to split with someone and still have leftovers. We were pretty stuffed and nothing piqued our interest so we passed on dessert. The server was nice and attentive. Appetizers came out pretty quick. The complimentary bread was good. Our only criticism was that the shrimp came with the tails on so we can get our hands dirty with sauce to remove the tails off. Not going to deduct points for it as it seems like everywhere in 30a serves shrimp with tails but my southern husband was disappointed by it at a nice restaurant. We will definitely be back on future trips to 30a. I feel like it was the one restaurant we went to during our trip where we could have a nice conversation without having a hard time hearing each other across the table.

I got the lobster in paradise and the arugula salad and both were delicious! My husband got the filet and asparagus and while it was prepared safely, it was his least favorite steak of the trip. Our waitress was great and very friendly! However, when we got to the hostess stand and gave them our name, the employees at the stand seemed to be bickering a bit and we weren't sure if it was related to my husbands allergies/where to seat us or something else, but it made us a little nervous. The happy hour deals are amazing and people line up at the door at open for the $6 martini special (bar only - but you can get up and walk over there). We did get to participate in the bogo half off entree deal which was nice. Overall, I would return but the first impression with the hosts just worried us a bit.

We lucked out that they let us come with our two adult sons and one slightly younger since he was with his parents. Appetizers: ceviches, blackened crab legs, and butter candle. All were fantastic. Great flavor. Mains: I had the red snapper and took the server's recommendation to swap the fingerling potatoes for the truffled mashed potatoes. (Lighting in the picture isn't great, but it was divine.) My husband & one son had the filet, another had the pasta, and the last one had the pork chop. All were really good. Dessert: we sampled the chocolate torte, crème brûlée, and the key lime pie. All were good, but not standouts on their own.

Coming to this location for the first time proved that streak still continues. The LUMP BLUE CRAB BISQUE - Sherry, Cream, Crushed Herb Croutons to start was fabulous. The MACADAMIA-NUT-CRUSTED SNAPPER - Hawaiian Red Sea Salt, Almond Rice, Grilled Asparagus, Wasabi Soy Beurre Blanc was just as good. Yes, something I usually pass on entirely, dessert, the key lime pie was great too. The only disappointment was the piña colada I ordered. The "bar" is set high on this one by the Marlin Bar in Orlando so I'll give them a pass. Service was very attentive and the place itself is brand new. I wish the developer would have made more parking closer to the buildings. In the off season it was nuts, coming here during peak season is going to be a challenge. One aspect they truly excel at is the live entertainment. The music is just right--loud enough for the audience to sing "Sweet Caroline," yet soft enough to allow for casual conversations at the table.

We are typically there at least three out of the seven days we stay in town. Unfortunately, after our experience on Mother's Day, we do not plan on returning. We arrived around 4:30 p.m. with a party of nine, hoping to enjoy some of the happy hour menu and pricing. We were kept waiting in the front until exactly 5:00 p.m., even though it was obvious that tables on the back deck were already available. Once seated, our server was polite and did a good job taking care of us. During conversation, we mentioned the long wait, and he explained that it is apparently "protocol" to delay seating larger parties until after 5:00 so they do not receive happy hour pricing. If that is truly company policy, I find it extremely disappointing and dishonest. We felt manipulated instead of welcomed. The food quality was also far below what we have experienced in past years. The crusted snapper that was recommended to us was terrible and had to be sent back. My grandson's burger was also very poor quality and honestly unpleasant. The only dishes our table generally agreed were decent were the squash casserole bowl and the chicken parmesan. Another disappointment was learning that bread is no longer served. For families with children, that was always something simple that helped while waiting on meals. Between the removal of those small touches, the higher prices, and the noticeable decline in food quality, the restaurant no longer feels worth returning to. I'm not writing this to get anyone in trouble. I'm writing because this restaurant used to be one of the highlights of our vacation every year, and it is frustrating to see the experience decline this much. Chris Tomlinson
