This Chipotle location is consistently disappointing. The restaurant is often dirty, and the bathrooms are especially disgusting. On multiple visits, I've found the toilets unclean, which raises serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The biggest issue is that they are constantly out of steak. Every time I ask if more is being prepared, I'm told I have to wait 20 minutes, usually with an attitude from the staff. This isn't an occasional problem, it's a recurring issue that happens almost every visit. Customers shouldn't have to deal with poor customer service, empty food trays, and unsanitary restrooms at a restaurant chain of this size. Against my better judgement after a redeye and a long day of work my new-hire and I stopped in here for dinner. Chipotle in general has a lot of outbreaks of food poisoning, which my employee and I discussed prior to eating there!! Thank goodness we had different dinners bc 5hrs after eating there I woke to my employee in the bathroom at 1am, obv sick with chills and shakes and hanging over the porcelain. I wish I took pictures. This restaurant was FILTHY. Not one table was wiped down, and there was general trash all over. Empty and partially empty cups strewn on tables and on the floor, straw wrappers EVERYWHERE, food debris scattered on every table, torn stool covers...the WORKS. This place SCREAMED "we don't care about ANYTHING but getting YOUR MONEY and cashing our paycheck and NOTHING else"!! That should have been warning number 2 given this chains reputation of food-borne illnesses!! My employee had the steak burrito, I had the carnitas quesadilla - my saving grace was NO VEGGIES, and that mine went through the toaster oven before I ate it. I recall from past experience that my meats were typically well below safe temps prior to serving making it susceptible to bacteria growth. Thankfully our hotel next door (Hyatt Place) gave me comp Pepto and ginger ale so hopefully he makes a fast recovery! I'm contracted by Cross County management and am due to install a seasonal activation in 6hrs and indefinitely will run this up the chain with my contact here. This restaurant is a disgrace and needs to be inspected by the Health Dept. At BEST it should have a B rating, at worst it needs to be shut down for food handling training and a thorough cleaning. Update...I contacted the NY Health Dept to report this location!! I hope management is held accountable and that the franchise is reviewed by corporate. I'm sure this is shared blame between management and the general employee pool, but there are MINIMUM standards here and this location falls terribly short. I own a business and am acutely aware of the difficulties in hiring quality staff, which makes it a FULL TIME JOB...but in the food industry you become a hazard to your community! They did not honor the first responders discount and the service was horrible. The service alone was enough to give them one star. So I placed the order online to waste time till I get there so I order it ahead of time instead of pick up was at 5:50. I was there around 5:40 waited waited there for at least 30 minutes while the people coming in placing a order on the counter were getting their food faster than the people that order online. I finally got my food. Drove all the way home. It was cold heated it up. Take a few bites and notice that I had no meat so after waiting all that time finally get home to have my dinner and I have no meat. I tried calling the establishment but it seems like they don't get phone calls so I had to get back on my car drive all the way to the location to get my order fixed, I get there to the counter the person that was preparing the food or calling out the food. I flagged her down and I said excuse me I was here and when I got home, the food had no meat. I said you could open it if you want, but there's no meat in it Not oh my God I'm sorry what else can I get you or let me put extra meat in it or can I give you something extra on top of that or let me give you a free soda or let me give you this for free nothing like what type of establishment is this? This is one of the closest Chipotle's to me and I have to agree with most of these reviews. We always have to prepare ourselves for the longest line of our lives and sometimes we can't even order ahead because we've seen their system down or them turning away door dashers or Ubers, etc. If you want to eat here your only option is to stand on a 10+ minute line. I personally haven't had any terrible experiences with the food. My food has always came out fresh and if I'm waiting that long it should be fresh...my only complaint is the customer service and long wait times. read more

Horrible service by the server Yenny. She did not greet me and was very impatient. She gave me Less than the regular serving for my meal. When I asked for her to give me the correct serving size she said it would be extra. I told her I wasn't paying extra I just wanted a full serving size so she should add a little more. Horrible, just horrible. Service was horrible. It was like 1 pm on a Sunday and there was no ice. A woman was waiting at the drink dispenser and told me "I told them about the ice and I have been waiting for 10 min." So I went to cashier and she rudely and kurtly said, " it's broken." Then I went back to that woman and told her what the cashier said to me. So I got my hot Coke and went on my way. She said, rudely, "the ice machine is broken and the sodas are ALL flat." When I went to the dispenser, just to have a looksie, a man standing there said "I come her all the time and it doesn't matter what day or time of day, the soda machine and ice are always broken." I was so pissed. In California the chipotles fill the ice from the top of the drink dispenser. Assuming it is done the same was in NY. Great way to run a food establishment. Have your doors open only to be abruptly asked to leave and place your order using the app. I was with my parents (my stepfather who is diabetic) asked to use the restroom and was told that it's out service. To go to Red Lobster and use it. We did. They ended up getting our business as well. I would have rather been told that it's for employee use only and I would have understood. I tried getting the attention of one of them for guacamole and chips since my little one wasn't super hungry. I was met with eye rolls and looks of disgust. If you are going to work in the hospitality industry leave your attitude at home. I work in Costco and my supervisor wouldn't accept this behavior. The bowl was nasty. The rice was unseasoned and mushy. The steak was full of gristle and under seasoned as well. The guacamole needed more salt and lime. The chips were stale. There were no hot sauces to use. Horrible pick up system. I ordered for pick up at 8pm, arrived two minutes early to a swarm of people outside. Instead of calling names for orders, people are gathered at the window trying to read names off of tiny receipts. It reminded me of children peering into a fish tank.
