I was surprised when I saw the surplus of negative reviews on this location. Will I say the service is flawless? My orders are always correct? No. Are they correct most of the time, is the service usually good? Yes. I have been to far worst Chipotle's. The Winter Garden Village area is extremely busy, so sometimes the line piles up. The employees deal with it the best way they can and usually get you out of the door in 15 minutes or less. Compared to other places with no wait, this is pretty good. If you order using the app, it's extremely fast. The only two issues I can really highlight with this location are that they run out of ingredients quite frequently and tend to severely undercook the fajita veggies. The first issue really isn't their fault. It happens, especially with a busy location. It can be frustrating though. The fajita veggie issue is not solely at this location, but it happens the most to me here. The veggies taste like they have been grilled for one second and still have a cold snap. It's not the worst thing that could happen, but it certainly isn't very appetizing. Overall I think this is a pretty good location. We ordered Chipotle catering of 3 proteins for 10 people and were shocked by how little food we received for the price. It ended up costing more than ordering 10 individual burritos, yet we were only given 5 small taco-sized flour tortillas, 5 hard corn shells, barely enough for each person to have one small taco. That's right, one taco per person. Not burrito-sized tortillas, not multiple tacos, just one tiny taco each, plus sides of rice and beans. While the flavor and quality of the food were great (as expected from Chipotle), the portion sizes and overall value of the catering were incredibly disappointing. If you're considering Chipotle catering, save your money and order individual bowls or burritos instead. You'll get more food, more options, and better value. Some mystery sauce that's definitely not on the menu keeps appearing like a bad plot twist. The chips? So oversalted with lime that they could exfoliate your lips. And today's burrito? Ice cold. Not "sat too long" cold -- I mean refrigerator-cold, corn-salsa-and-sour-cream-core temperature cold. And here's the best part: I don't even enter a new order. I literally hit "Reorder" in the app. Same order. Every. Single. Time. Yet every time it's a new experiment in chaos. You might think, "Just call and tell them." I did. Or rather, I tried. There was a line over an hour long (this info coming from a lady who had just received her food) and easily an additional 30 people waiting for their online orders. I waited 50 mins past my pick up time before I finally asked the employee how much further down the list I was. She told me there were still 10 people in front of me and it would be another 45 mins before I got my order. She informed me that I could cancel my order. She told me that I could leave, and cancel through the app to receive a full refund. Needless to say... When I left and immediately requested a refund while in my car, I was told the following day that was not something they could do, but they would offer me $3 back to my credit card. ALSO - I saw one off the employees picking up order tags off the (visibly dirty) floor and then continuing to make food with the same gloves. Absolutely Disappointing Experience I've never felt more unwelcome at a Chipotle than I did at this location. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the staff had no interest in providing decent service. They were out of multiple essential items -- no rice, no chicken, no CHEESE -- basically all the things you actually come to Chipotle for. When we asked about it, we were met with eye rolls and vague shrugs. To make things worse, the team started closing procedures an hour before the posted closing time. Chairs were going up, the floor was being mopped around us, and they were clearly rushing us to leave, even though several people were still in line trying to order. If you're not going to have the food available or serve your customers with basic courtesy, you might as well lock the doors early and save everyone the wasted trip. The absolute WORST location and customer service. I ordered two veggie burritos on the app. When you order a veggie on the app it says, "Includes Guacamole." I ordered two veg burritos and get home and only one has guac. I called the store to let them know one was wrong and can I stop by tomorrow and have them remake it the right way with guac. I had a 24 minute phone call with Megan and then a manager named Chris who said nope but I can pick up a side of guac. I asked, what am I going to do with a side of guacamole? They did not respond. They kept repeating the same thing over and over. Guac was not on the ticket, so thats why I didn't get any. Even though Megan said, guac is the "protein" for a veggie burrito. I said if thats the case, why wasn't it on there. She said I needed to ask for it. I told her it says it on the app for the tenth time. I finally said, I just need this burrito made and I will pick it up tomorrow. Chris the manager said, I don't know if they will make it for you. I said Im asking for a tortilla, guac, cheese, beans and sour cream here, not a hundred dollar item. You're a manager and you cant leave a note to have it made?? He said I can, I don't know if they'll make it. By this point, Ive now lost IQ points and was over this 24 minute phone call. I said, if I come now can you make it? He finally made a decision and said yes. I go to restaurant and ask for Chris. I am met with neither Chris nor Megan thankfully. I was met with another manager who was incredibly smart and so sweet. She said sorry and remade the burrito in less than two minutes. I showed her the app how it says "guac included" and how I was on the phone for 24 minutes with two simpletons who wouldn't help me out with a nine dollar veggie burrito and just say, come in and we'll remake it. Chipotle is probably the fast food chain that I go to the most. It is probably also the only fast food place that I go to with any regularity. Chipotle likes to think of themselves Asa fast casual restaurant to put themselves apart from fast food, as does restaurants like Five Guys, Burger Fi, Red Robin, etc., but for me the line between fast casual and fast food is pretty vague at best. Anyway, Chipotle offers a healthier option than the burger and fries dominated fast food landscape. They offer a very Americanized version of "Mexican" food. I don't mean this as a complete negative, it is just a factual statement. If you are looking for Mexican, look elsewhere. Chipotle is a step closer to authentic Mexican than say Taco Bell or Del Taco, but it is still miles away from authentic Mexican. Chipotle helped popularize the method of having customers select their options and "build their own meal option." You choose a base, either a burrito,, a burrito bowl,, salad,salad,, etc.. you than choose either white or brown rice, than black beans or pinto beans. For protein you can select chicken, carne aside, carnitas, barbacoa or their vegetarian sofritos. They then offer a slew of toppings. Again, it is not authentic, but it is still pretty good. I would definitely recommend here if you are looking for a fast food option that is both tasty and someone healthy, here is a great option. Oh, price is decent, too. read more

The service at this chipotle is absolutely infuriating, the past couple times I have been to this location almost every employee has a bad attitude and is handling the food with no care, today when I was ordering my food the woman kept yelling WHAT ELSE when I wasn't even finished saying my last word, almost all of the meat was just cold dry pieces at the bottom of the pan, then we waited at the register to get checked out as she yelled to her coworker that she has to "deal with this shit" and then rudely said "we ain't go no chips" when we asked for them. This Chipotle was the absolute worse. On top of the dirty tables and dining area, the food quality control was terrible - resulting in a waste of my damn time. I ordered two kids cheese quesadillas to go. Upon driving away, I discovered that the cheese quesadillas were both undercooked, and that the cheese was not melted at all. So I had to turn around and go back to the store. The staff was friendly and offered to remake the quesadillas for me - cool. The first quesadilla was made perfectly, cheese was melted this time. But they left the second quesadilla in the heat press way too long and it ended up nearly burning the quesadilla. When I got it back, I could barely peel the aluminum foil off because it was stuck to the tortilla shell. Tortilla shell was extra crispy and nearly burnt. Well I wasn't going to go back to the store a 3rd friggin time so we sucked it the F up and at a trash quesadilla. I don't expect Michelin Star quality from minimum wage millennials serving my food but an imbecile could make a cheese quesadilla properly. There's a minimum standard with any business and this Chipotle didn't reach the minimum expected standard. The worst part of this experience is the waste of my damn time. No food remakes, refunds, gift cards or half-butt apologies can buy back my wasted time. Business owners, managers and leaders need to tighten up and square their staff away! Placed our order through the app. We went in to pick up our food, which was still being worked on. We asked one employee if that was our order that another employee was working on, and he replied: "Could be." Then when he was done, he handed our order and said they were out of chips and that we'd have to call corporate to get a refund because they don't do refunds in store. If this location was out of a food item, they should have updated the website so no orders come in for it. Also to run out of chips at 9:30pm when the store is supposedly open until 11:00pm on a Saturday doesn't seem right. I thought Chipotle made their chips in house. When we got home, there was an order missing. I called the store to let them know that I was coming back to get it, they hesitated but ultimately said "that's fine." When I got back to Chipotle it was 10:00pm and they had put up all the chairs in the restaurant like they were getting ready to close but there's a sign on the door that read "Now Open Until 11:00pm" and the regular business hours on the door also said open until 11:00pm. When I finally got back home to start eating, my order and my brother's order had white rice but the both of us ordered brown rice. The service at this location is not worth coming in. This chipotle seems to be consistently busy, I think I came in after a rush because the floors were dirty and the staff seemed stressed. I honestly would have rated this 1-2 stars but the manager named Will saved the experience. He's a star on this team and should be recognized as such. I didn't get to interact with him directly but I watched as he worked to please unsatisfied customers despite the tense environment - and he did it with a smile on his face. He's the sole reason for me leaving this review at 4 stars. I pray the GM is able to recognize the talent you have in manager Will as he is a true star. read more

Don't come in the evenings. The place is a mess. No clean tables. They are out of lots of things: ice, regular cups, lemonade, chips.

The service was absolutely horrible. I understand how you could potentially hate your job when you're 30 and still working at chipotle, BUT to watch men get FULL bowls and then after being extremely nice, basically getting questioned if I was able to pay for double meat when I asked for something more than the scraps of chicken. Not to mention that when I had paid for double meat, I only got a half portion of one protein. This woman had extremely long hair that seemed to be in a braid, unsure. It was 4/16/25 around 10:15pm. I feel like the food station is just the beginning, I get to the counter and the woman just says "no drink", but it a very rude tone. Then proceeds to say shes glad my payment went through, on the first time. I have never thought to check my bowl after I leave, but felt like i needed to this time and sour cream was missing - which im pretty sure I paid extra for. I walk back in and wait in the line to not disturb the process, NICELY ask for sour cream. I am allergic to corn and there was pieces in the sour cream. When I told the woman, its like she just wanted to throw the sour cream at me instead. She uses a super high-pitched voice and shes really annoying- should be able to point her out. The place was a mess, honestly just horrible experience and will never be going back to this location. A slow life working at chipotle may not get you a boyfriend, but I dont think giving out extra portions will either. read more

I am not sure what happened to Chipotle Mexican Grill but my experiences have been below average. Three times over a one year period I ordered take out from them. Each time my order was messed up and low quality. On my last visit I ordered two bowls with carnitas, fajita veggies, lettuce, tomato salsa and guacamole. ($20.77) One order had cheese and they forgot to add tomato salsa. The second bowl had about a cup of guacamole and a tablespoon of meat. The meat was mushy like tuna fish and there was a clear liquid that looked like water on the bottom portion of the bowl. The meals looked unappealing and were extremely disappointing. read more

When I order a salad I expect toppings on a bed of lettuce not toppings sprinkled with a couple pieces of lettuce. Apparently that's what the worker at chipotle wanted me to have today. I got maybe 4 bites of my salad with lettuce. Horrible. I ordered my usual in the app and drove over to pick up. My order wasn't ready so I sat and waited by the pick up area. Multiple people came in after me, went through the line, and got their food. After seeing this happen multiple times and not seeing my order I asked the worker at the register how much longer it would be. He told me he didn't know. I gave it a few minutes and then went back up stating that my online order was already supposed to be ready and they were helping people that had arrived in the restaurant after my order should have been ready and after I had arrived. At this point the worker who was supposed to be working the online order station explained that she was having to do both. I said okay but the people in store had arrived after me and after my online order should have been ready (20 minutes before). She left the other waiting customers to make my order. She made the online orders she had and I got my order. Finally. I was pretty surprised when I got home and discovered my salad had just a few pieces of lettuce. Ridiculous. After eating my meat and toppings I noticed the bottom of my bowl was filled with liquid. Gross. Probably because there wasn't a base when she didn't put the lettuce in. My orders haven't always been perfect at chipotle but I understand restaurants are short staffed, etc. and I'm usually very understanding.
