Came in today for lunch since I won a gift card at work and had the worse experience .... there was orders being taken in front of us as we were already being serviced that I guess gad already been waiting 10 minutes or so which was fine had the employees stated the situation .. so now we are watching them load up their bowls with at least 5x more protein than we got which was scrapping the metal bowls from end to end for scraps! We were very disappointed that we had to waste our entire lunch break on a bad trip. We ended up leaving and driving 11 mins down the road to the next chipotle on Howard ave and we were very pleased and will continue to go to this location from here on out!!! Terrible dining experience -- would not recommend this location! I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this location, I come to this location a few times and year and it's always some unpleasant here compared to other area Chipotles. The food was low quality -- overcooked, not fresh looking, and dried out, bins were all nearly empty at noon which should be the opposite for this time of day before the lunch rush. The environment was unbelievably loud, with music blasting like a nightclub instead of a restaurant. It was impossible to have a normal conversation and enjoy a lunch break. To make things worse, they didn't even have proper utensils -- no forks were available, which made eating the meal frustrating. When I tried to ask the staff for help, they couldn't seem to understand what I was saying or offer any solution. Overall, it was chaotic, unpleasant, and had to eat in my car after I got a fork from gas station next door. I definitely expect better, poor management and leadership to not see these basic things. This store is consistently horrible and appears to lack proper management. The employees are rude and dismissive, frequently ignoring my requests for portion adjustments. The management is unorganized -- it's common to see six or seven employees on break while one person is left making bowls and checking customers out during rush hours. This creates long lines, frustrated guests, and chaotic service as I saw it myself and experienced it. The restaurant is also messy and DISGUSTING, charges incorrect prices, and constantly runs out of chicken or other main ingredients, which causes even more backups. It's frustrating to wait in line only to find out key items aren't available (even when they are). It's no surprise this location currently holds around two stars in online reviews -- the experience reflects that rating. Chipotle store on S. Gandy Blvd & Dale Mabry - I will never go there again. The portion sizes are extremely small, not even enough meat to cover one side of the dish or the food....maybe 6 pieces of chicken....when I ask for a little bit more, the girl put about 6 more pieces in the bowl and then charged me for double chicken. The person in front of me had the same experience but when she had to go to a double, the server filled the bowl so much I even was surprised....but not for me. The next server, was very rude and short when asking me what I liked on my food as he was frustrated at the person ahead of me. Instead of not rushing and let me chose my toppings, he leaned over and said, ok well what don't you want, so loud he was making a scene. When I went to pay, they then tried to charge me for Steak (which I did not have)....when I corrected him, I mentioned that I should not be charged double seeing that the portion size of meat were so small...his answer was, "well that's our portion sizes" and disregarded me. I will never go back to the Chipotle store on Gandy Blvd & Dale Mabry. I will let everyone I know that that store is a rip off and that the portion sizes are so small that it sis not worth the money. went to the 2708 Dr MLK Jr location. No one says hello, no one looks at you in the face. they are out of everything, no rice, which is a staple. then I want to redeem my points for a side of guac. I ask the cashier where my side is and she continues to tell me I got it for free, but where is it? then I asked the young guy who prepped my bowl and he says it's on the bowl but I didn't see add it. I had to go to the parking lot and open my bowl and confirm it was never added... so frustrating! good customer service goes a long way and tonight was not one of those visits. please do better! read more

I've visited several Chipotles but this one has to stand out as one of the worse. The service is below average and the food was shocking. First I want to say who ever cuts the chicken in this Chipotle must be given a new role, because every single time I order chicken I find a piece of bone. The way the music was all love songs, combined with the shimmer of his skin and how his uniform draped off his form caused me incredible arousal and thus discomfort. I should have read the reviews as they are all spot on point! I blame the managers they have! Careless, entitled, and the health department needs to shut them down! They done use hairnets, they don't wear gloves, they scratch their body parts and when confronted they say you can leave if you don't like it! Clearly they need to overhaul this location, while I love Chipotle this a by far the most disappointing location! The store is pig stye, there cleaning protocols obviously aren't being upheld! Disorganization, delays, 5 tortillas to wrap a single burrito, no napkins or utensils out. Asking that people just grab them out of the industrial refill boxes left on the counter. The strangest of all, the manager was gently bargaining with a young woman (wearing plain street clothes) who was relaxing slumped on one of the tables, requesting to restock the utensils?
