I generally like Chipotle and usually don't have any issues, but this was my first time at this location and it will absolutely be my last. I walked in around 1:30, and it was fairly empty aside from a couple of people. I noticed a man standing there waiting and quickly understood why once I got to the counter. They were literally out of almost everything. No chicken, no steak, no sofritas, and no other meat options. There were no fresh vegetables and no corn. It honestly felt like they had nothing available. There was chicken that looked like it was ready but hadn't been cut yet, which made the situation even more frustrating. The chips were also stale. The service was awful. Most of the staff had an attitude, which only made a bad situation worse. The only bright spot was one girl working the register who was clearly in training and actually had a good attitude. To make matters worse, the majority of the tables were dirty, even though the restaurant was not busy. It also looked like there were at least seven people working at the time, which makes it even more confusing as to why nothing was in order or being handled properly. When I finally got my food, the chicken was completely unseasoned. Easily the most bland chicken I've ever had at a Chipotle. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. Poor service, lack of food options, dirty dining area, and extremely low quality. I will not be returning to this location. read more

I've been to this location several times in the past and it has typically always been a decent experience, however, that was not the case yesterday. First off, the server who made our bowls appeared to be having a bad day as that came through in her customer service. I'm not sure if that also came through in her serving sizes because it's crazy how portion sizes can differ greatly depending on the staff who assists you. They should be consistent so you don't feel cheated. One of the bowls we ordered was a Smoked Brisket with Extra Chicken bowl which we paid $17.64 for! You couldn't tell us there was a double portion of protein in this bowl at all. It was comparable to a regular portion of meat. The bowl was extremely disappointing for the price we paid and if we thought that was bad the other chicken bowl barely had any protein in it. When I'm craving Chipotle again I'm sure I'll return to this location but I'll just hope I'll have a better experience (fingers crossed). read more

I've been to this location twice and both times I've spent at least 20 minutes in line. There were only 3 people ahead of me today but it took an abnormally long amount of time for me to get to the counter to place my order. Employees make orders out of order in the line causing anxiety and havoc when it's time to add additional toppings. The assembly stations are messy and between this visit and the last I've gotten stale chips, chewy chicken, and no vegetables with no ETA on when more would be ready. Not impressed. read more

Today my food was good and plentiful even though I had to ask for double meat portions. It was served hot and tasty. Also I visited on a Wednesday around lunch. I gave it a 3 because a serving isn't consistent and since it's not measured you may or may not get what you pay for without asking for a double portion. I've frequented Chipotle since they first opened back in the early 90's (not this particular store). I remember the freshness, unique taste and overall great meals I used to get from Chipotle. But it seems those days are long gone. I'm new to Austin, but not new to Chipotle and it's clear they are sacrificing quality in order to get their brand all over the globe. Today I ordered chicken soft tacos with corn salsa, cheese and sour cream. We got two orders (three tacos per order) and out of the six tacos, there was no consistency. To start, they each had very little chicken. They do have an option to pay extra for more chicken, but why should I pay more for what used to be a standard amount of chicken on the tacos? It's a complete scam... they cut back little by little until it's so little, you need to pay extra just to get the normal amount of meat in your order. Worse was the corn salsa. How expensive can corn possibly be that they put so little on the taco! Without exaggeration, it wasn't even a tablespoon amount of corn on the taco. And the cheese was basically the same... just a few shreds. On some tacos, I'm not even sure there was cheese. As for the sour cream, that was the only part of the taco that seemed to have an adequate amount. Lastly, the flavor wasn't fresh. We don't live far and by the time we got home, they had the temperature of something just coming out of the refrigerator and about as fresh as something made 2-3 days ago. I keep trying Chipotle hoping they will get back to the amazing fresh hot food they used to serve. But each time I give it another try, I'm disappointed. I have no illusions anyone at the restaurant will make any changes after reading this but it's more of a reminder for myself to avoid Chipotle. I would have given it one star, but I ordered this through the mobile app and it was ready by the time I got there and we live just minutes away. I'm tired of going to this place and getting half the meat compared to other spots. During lunch time they try as best to use as little protein as to conserve during rush hour. We came mid afternoon on Saturday. It did not appear to be busy, three groups of patrons in line. Only one young lady was both preparing the orders and checking them out, despite the fact that I saw 4 employees walking around. One employee was clearly the cook but the other two kept looking at the customers but not aiding any of them. Teri was the young lady that was very courteous and appeared to be the only person working hard. I saw her preparing food, manning the register, stocking utensils & napkins, wiping down tables and tending to full trash cans. If she is not the manager, she should be. Great job, Teri! I do not dine here often, but I definitely like that it is convenient to my work. During lunch this place gets packed! I have been here three times recently and noticed I haven't left a review. On my recent visit, I was very pleased with the manager. He was very cognizant that I was in a hurry to get my food and go back to work. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl. Very good and delicious. They even have queso they can pour into your bowl. That may not be something new, but to me it was since I didn't realize that was an option. Service typically goes by fast.
