This is the second time I've been to this location. The first time I left because I was in line for 20 minutes and it only moved once. This time(if you can even believe this) they were out of both kinds of rice, like dang you can't run down to winco real quick and get some? they still charged me for a scoop of guacamole even though the guy in front of me got an entire quesadilla for free simply because the register guy forgot to add it and they had already ran his card. Not sure what's happened to quality of food, but, we've tried delivery and p/u orders and each time, Chipotle has been out of either chicken, steak and today, pinto and black beans. Our food was stone cold. The steam table area was really a mess. The staff was friendly, but, never offered more of something else to make up for missing food. We were big Chipotle fans, but, our poor Redding store is really disappointing so I have no idea when we may try it again. read more

I get they are doing "what they can" during this pandemic but how are they going to have a sign that says "No mask, no entry" and still allow a customer to enter with no mask? Not only that but this customer was also leaning over the glass as she chose her ingredients, placed her chin on that very same glass, threw her whole bag on the counter just to lean over the cashier's counter (nearly laying on her stomach) to see the register, stuck her hand behind the cashier's register to pull out a pen and sign her own receipt. By the looks of it, the conversations she had with the employees, and also going to the back to eat, I'd say she was an employee of this location but was clearly off the clock. I stopped going here when the food went downhill. I agree with other reviewers about the cleanliness of this location. There is always leftover food on the tables and the bathroom is always a mess. As far as the food is concerned, I always get chicken tacos. The chicken is tough, fatty, and inedible. Nothing else is quite up to par either. This was my first time here after a 15-minute wait in line she put the meat on our tortillas and they sat on the counter for 10 minutes before the next girl got to them the girl did not know how to roll a burrito and completely messed it up ask me if I wanted another tortilla who would eat a burrito with two tortillas we got our food I added chips and queso sat down to eat it it was cold the K so it's cold it must have been cold in the steam table because they gave it right to me I went to the counter to tell the guy that the food was cold asked if he had a microwave he said no and shrugged his shoulders. We've usually not had trouble here, but honestly, we had the worst food I've ever had from Chipotle tonight. We ordered online a burrito and a bowl with the tortilla on the side, pretty simple. I walked in at our pick up time. The food was cold. Rice wasn't cooked. No beans in either meal. We got two BOWLS instead of a burrito and a bowl, and there was no side tortilla. We tried to call the restaurant (during open hours) to get ahold of them 15 minutes after our pick up to figure out what to do and no one picked up, after several calls. Did an online order for delivery on April 27, got two burrito bowls added a side of queso and a large side of guacamole and chips. When the order arrived I hadn't received the guacamole. Called the store and they said they couldn't send out the guacamole but could refund me the 5$+ that id paid for it. Never got refunded. The chips were stale and chewy and the queso tasted watery and horrible. First time ordering from chipotle and it will be my last time. I wish I could give ZERO STARS! I just moved to the area and got very sick and was hospitalized (not from Chipotle). I was trying to order food for my family member to pick up and bring to me and my daughter. I wanted to order a bowl of rice. Just plain cilantro rice. The app/online ordering wasn't letting me order just a bowl of rice. So I called... THREE TIMES... and spoke to Ashley who is apparently the manager. I told her my issues and she kept referring me back to ordering online. She refused to just take my order over the phone. She assured me she would just add the bowl of rice to the order. My family picked up the food (on the shelf inside Chipotle) and when they got here there was NO bowl of rice! There was also no juice for my daughters kids meal. So I didn't get to eat. The other thing I could not do online was have the guacamole and sour cream put on the side of my mothers bowl. Ashley again assured me they would not put sour cream or guacamole in the bowl and it would stay on the side. That meal was ruined as well because the sour cream and guacamole was all over the top of the food and my mother couldn't eat it! Chipotle is 10 miles away so going back wasn't an option. Stupidity caused me to try again the next day and this time my family member went inside to place the order and when the food got home I did get my bowl of rice but there was a huge pile of hot red sauce across the whole bowl of rice! I really have a love for chipotle, it always tastes so good! I do miss the crane asada though. This chipotle has really nice employees, they listen and are always eager to correct any errors. It does seem this chipotle gets quite busy, and the wait is usually about 20 minutes. Make sure to tell the cashier that your waiting for an online order, if you place one, because last time I waited over my prep time, only to find out that it was in the back and was not bought out because of the busy time. The employees are great, the food is great, it's just the wait can be really long on your feet; maybe it's an organization issue or just inevitable but overall I wait because I love the food! read more

Walked in Before they closed they had all their chairs up and when we walked up the guy said they pretty much only have lettuce and they are not opening up any thing else. I won't bore you with the Latin but let me just say buyer beware. There is A-line at which should be drawn when it comes to expectations let alone quality, especially when ordering from a well known name and trusted institution. Such lines should not be crossed. Right now I am currently crossing the lines to the water closet 4 times in the last half hour than I would care to admit Perhaps it was the chunk of raw avocado in the guacamole. Perhaps it was the avocado skin that I later chewed on wondering what was so bitter. Perhaps someone merely forgot to wash their hands and I wouldn't doubt it given the otherwise nasty attitudes that came from the girl who prepared our food. Regardless of what it was, this was 2nd time coming back to fix our order that they had messed up on in the 1st place and it will be our absolute last.
