I was visiting Augusta and had a lot of work to do ended up not eating all day. I thought to order a late dinner from a local chipotle (why not get some good reliable, semi healthy food delivered before I head to bed?). Unfortunately, when the food arrived (on time) to our home, it was the worse wrapped burrito I'd ever received from chipotle so I messaged chipotle to give them a heads up that despite having FOUR wrapper used for one burrito, there was still juice leaking out. I got a message back that they would work on training. I figure it was the night crew and close to closing so they were probably rushing. So the next day, I made the same (mistake) decision to order lunch from them as we were also working all day and ... well, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. It happened on two separate days at different times. I didn't know if the staff just does a worse job if the food is for delivery or if the staff is not the best at wrapping the burritos but it really was a sub par experience. Used to live in Texas, but had to move to the Georgia South Carolina line and it seems any chipotle I have gone to outside of Texas cannot earn a better than three star, so let's talk about this location, the chicken was chewy and the steak had a lot of fat And seems like gristle in it. This is not your father's Chipotle. I've been a fan of the chain for years frequenting their locations across 4 states in the southeast. I've always been happy with the portions and felt the money spent was worth the quality of the product. That was until now. On my most recent visit I ordered 3 chicken bowls. What I got was mostly lumpy rice, a skittering of beans, a few tiny pieces of chicken and a few leaves of lettuce. I waited 15 minutes before finally getting the order and one of the burrito bowls was missing the queso that we paid extra for (which we did not find out until we got home and opened the bowls). This was my first time visiting this location. There was lots of parking and there was no wait although I went during lunch time. I ordered a bowl with chicken and steak. It was about $10. The meat was flavored well, but the steak was not edible. I picked it all out. It was very tough. I think I was chewing on fat or cartilage. I'm not sure, but my tongue wouldn't let it pass. Next time, I'll just stick with chicken. I'm not that big of a fan of Chipotle, but every time I eat Chipotle, it's refreshing and I don't feel sluggish. read more

Sometimes you just need a chicken bowl after a very long day. Honestly it had been awhile since I had tried Chipotle since the whole meat make you sick mess. What stood out about this location was the customer service, I did not get the young lady that made my bowl name. However she was super duper friendly and was on point getting the line moving quickly. With the shortage of workers out there I know its hard to find good people in the service industry. But this young lady that was working 08/10 around 5:30 needs to be put in a management program somewhere!!! I love too see young people doing good, its rare and welcome. Okay okay back to the food. Whoever the lazy rats were who made my food, you deserve the worst year ever. I ordered the food and had it delivered, I ordered several bowls and instead of the tin tops, those LAZY RATS put TIN FOIL on top of of the food. And they were BOLD to literally add ZERO rice to the bowls, and if it did at rice then it was at most two teaspoons of rice. Whoever did that, I hope your manager sees this and hunts you down like RATS to fire you. Had me more mad than when chipotle gave UNDER COOKED RICE that was somehow over cooked in other parts. read more

Hurray, a Chipotle has opened up closer to Augusta! I've been a loyal Chipotle fan for 20 years and even though the quality and portions have gotten smaller, at least the prices haven't hiked up too much so I can't complain much there. This location is pretty much your standard brick and mortar fast food joint and nothing sets it apart from the others whatsoever. I can walk in, order the exact same thing I've been ordering for years and count on the fact that nothing has deviated from the status quo. I do enjoy the queso option but really wish I could have it slapped on my burrito bowl instead of putting in a 4 oz. solo cup on the side but I can understand the need to portion every drop of sauce and grain of rice. They're a business after all. The most troublesome factor that keeps me from coming here every day is the fact that the burritos bowls are indeed smaller. The only reason I can confidently cling to this claim is because of my many photos of high school outings at my local Chipotle. Back when they still had red baskets, weird aluminum art on the walls and those Nantucket Nectars. If only the portions could be a tad healthier, this place could give Diablos and Moe's some real competition. read more

This new Chipotle opened up in North Augusta so I thought I would give them a second chance. The staff was very friendly but the food again was nothing remarkable. They answered my questions and were as bubbly as they could be. The 3 stars are for that. In the North Augusta area on a Sunday evening and looking for a place to grab a decent. I arrived a little after 7:00 p.m. and it was obvious that the crew was already working on their closing activities. I ordered a chicken fajita salad with a side of gauc and chips. Overall, everything was below average. After all of Chipotle's food service issues, I was very surprized tha the chicken in my salad was only luke warm. The bag of chips that I was given had way too much salt plus there were very few full size triangular chips. The chips were mostly small slivers that were unuseable for ipping the gauc. Finally, the gauc was decent but not up to the typical Chipotle quality and taste for gauc. Unlikely that I'll visit this location again, as there are least two other Chipotle-like burrito restaurants in North Augusta. read more

I went to this location around 2 pm yesterday. Lobby only had 2 customers dining. They seemed to have a fair amount of door dash orders, there were 3 people ahead of me, a couple then directly behind me an employee in line to order. The couple ahead of her moved on through, and the employee ordering, along with an employee manager were at a complete stand still wrapped up in a conversation. No need for the order line to be stalled at all, yet the two had a really nice chat, while I'm standing back in line. I was not initially greeted, no be right with you, nothing. When they finally decide to proceed, they stay immersed in conversation, walking toward the cash register. The employee that comes up and greets me with a genuinely nice hello, suddenly changes her attitude a total 180 as soon as she sensed I was annoyed. I finally sit down to eat, got a burrito with brown rice, and the rice was crunchy from being old. Such a disappointment all the way around. read more

I'm from the North Augusta area. Was riding through and saw that a Chipotle blessed my agates. I was extremely excited. I haven't been in the area in a while. It's great to see the area catching up. There was ample parking, and a very clean store. Emily was very personable, cool, and the GREATEST saleswoman manager (I think) that I've ever been blessed to witness. Even sold me on the chips. We decided to try Chipotle today. It was just ok. Nothing special or different like we were hoping. We had a chicken bowl, a steak bowl, 1 small bag of tortilla chips with a very small order of queso and 2 regular fountain drinks for $26. Nice people and service but the food was just ok. The only thing I can compare it to is Taco Bell and Diablos because we have ordered the "bowls" from each place. For the money vs food, I compare it to Taco Bell with x 3 the price of TB. Just our opinion but Diablos is much higher quality food for same if not a little bit cheaper price. read more
