This had to be the worst chipotle experience ever. It was so bad I'm probably never going to chipotle again. First, the staff were incredibly rude. There were at least 5 people working and there were only about 4 customers in the entire restaurant. Somehow it still took 5-10 minutes for someone to even bother to come over and start our order. While taking the order they were extremely rude and the woman rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a side of hot. They were out of white rice, fajitas, and chimichurri (which I really wanted to try). Then when we sat down with our food it turns out the ice machine was broken, the lemonades were empty, every napkin dispenser was empty, and there were no forks. It's actually kind of comical how much stuff they were out of and this was at 5PM before the dinner rush even started. Even the food we did get was poorly cooked. The brown rice was hard, the chicken was extremely dry, and everything just didn't taste seasoned. I remember when chipotle used to be amazing. Service has gone downhill so bad since Miguel came along. It almost seems as though he hired a lot of his family/friends since he started as well one lady in particular has her young son there with her pretty frequently. Nobody greets you. Nobody has on a name tag & when you ask them what their name is the don't answer you or ask why. Hmm because it's nice to know who is preparing my food seeing as though I come in often plus I myself work in customer service. Place is also always so dirty nothing is ever stocked & the white rice lately has been tasting as if it was made with 3 cups of salt!! Just k*ll us why don't ya! Half the time you go in there loud music is being played etc. When you ask them for a decent serving of protein they roll their eyes and suck their teeth maybe they should be trained if not retrained on how to serve should take a few pointers from the late morning/early afternoon crew they're always so friendly & welcoming place is nice & clean. read more

It's been a long time (over a year) since I went to any Chipotle but for some reason my partner and I decided to go to this location yesterday. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and they were OUT of fajitas! I asked if they were about to refill it and they said no because they are completely out! I've never had this happen to me at a Chipotle before...by the way this is at approximately 6:30 pm, normal dinner time, it's not like we showed up right before they closed. Then, the cashier is taking forever to ring people out but they keep taking new orders behind me so the line is getting really tight leading up to the register. Uncomfortable to say the least. My complete order was a chicken burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, all 3 salsas, corn, and lettuce. That's it! Not trying to get sick today. INSTANT REGRET within minutes after getting home and eating that burrito bowl! It feels like a demon reached inside my body, grabbed my intestines like a wet towel and wrung them out from dusk til dawn! This is worse than a hangover. This is pain, misery, torture. The food is ok......some staff try to skimp on the proteins. Generally, the people behind the counter doesn't smile and sometimes act like you're bothering them. I had a salad last week and she told me that they ran out of salad dressing. This was 1230pm on a Wed. How do you run out of dressing!! But to top it off, she made seem like it was no big deal. Not bad! I had a veggie/vegan burrito and it was very tasty. I put black beans, white rice,corn, fresh salsa with cilantro and lettuce in mine. A little messy but they are huge. Update: So was there recently and the condition of their parking lot is absolutely horrendous!!! DO NOT drive with any type of speed in there not even minimal speed. The potholes are so large that you're bound to bend something or scrape up your car tremendously so be careful. I really can't believe how torn apart their parking lot is. You may be better off parking in the Starbucks area or in the back part of the plaza and then walking. read more

This is the 3-4th time ordering from this location that being delivery or pick up and every time my order is always wrong. I try my best NOT to order from here but when you do delivery in app it gives you no choice but the closest location. This is the most carless location I've ever encountered. Every time I return to express the wrong doings there's always an attitude given and or nothing really to say about. They either can do it right now that I'm right in front of them or express how they're low on something so that's the reason why they just LITERALLY threw together a bowl of everything I did not ask for. Coming from a LOYAL customer of chipotle this is by far the WORST location to get chipotle from in all aspects. They never miss a chance to disappoint. read more

Thankfully, I didn't look at the reviews before getting food here. I like to order my chipotle online for pickup. This spot was SUPER busy for a weeknight around 6:30pm. I ordered my to-go to be picked up at 6:20pm and I waited about 15-20 minutes for my order, which defeated my purpose of ordering ahead. The line for pick up and dine-in were getting very long. They just seemed very busy/overwhelmed/disorganized. Maybe they needed an extra runner or extra person helping with online orders so that no one had to leave their stations to help. This particular day, another person named Lea had an order at the same time as me and they mistakenly gave me hers. I didn't have the time to go back as I ordered this before work, unfortunately I paid for a side of guacamole that I didn't receive along with my actual order. I'd still go back here though, I'd just be mindful to triple check my order and give myself more time for delays if I'm picking up to go. read more

Chipotle is to Mexican as any Pizza joint is to Italian... you can call it Mexican because the basic staples are there.. but if you go to Mexico, this isn't what you will be eating. So understanding that going into this place your expectations drop to a normal "fast food" level - cheap food that is edible and satiates that hunger. Pros: The food tastes good and the fact that my very picky eater kids like the food there is telling. I typically get the sofritas and it is decent. Their mild salsa has a small kick to it so if you don't like any spice at all, avoid it. Good place to go if you are vegetarian or vegan - lots of options. Others have complained that this place isn't exactly clean. I didn't get that impression. Again, this is a fast food joint so expectations are lower as it is. Cons: I am not a fan of places that charge extra for guacamole. I never understood what guacamole should be an extra where meats are included. It's more expensive to grow an avocado than a chicken or a cow? I'm sure economics come into play but I snoozed during that class. Queso is too velveeta tasting... I would skip unless you really have a craving for melted fake cheese. All in all I give this place a strong three stars that would have been 4 if I didn't find an avocado button stem thing (is there an actual name for it??) in my guacamole....toss this finding in the CONS section above. read more

Went for dinner with my wife. Ordered steak tacos. You only get 2 tacos for $12. The steak was dried tiny cubes. They were out of several condiments. Ordered guac and chips but they were out of chips so I bought one of there bags of chips that were stall, inedible. I travel due to work, and I've been to multiple Chipotle locations across the U.S. this is by far one of the worst experiences I've had. I'm fair, so went to this location 3 times to give it a fair chance. Loud Music, one person is working while everyone else is standing around, dirty kitchen. However my biggest issue... last 2 times I ordered a burrito the rice was wet. To help best describe this, it's as if the rice was soaked in dishwater. Tasted absolutely terrible and I had to throw my food away. Usually Chipotle is on point with their food, and service. I'll try my luck at a different location. Hope this review helps! read more

I had gone in earlier today to grab food with a friend and as we proceeded to the line we weren't greeted the general men who first started helping us seem to didn't care to do his job I had asked for an extra portion of protein and he scooped 4 literal pieces on meat and throw it in the bowl with an attitude I. Ignored it proceeded further as I and my friend finish getting our food to check out I was charged for someone else's food then nobody knew who's food was what asked check out person to open it and check and he proceeded to ask another employee instead of just opening it which he did have gloves on to do so he didn't till I asked again then was given an attitude I refused both meals and got the refund for which I was charged for someone else's food I wouldn't recommend going here these service is horrible seems nobody cares on what's going on here ! You would think that a basic order of 4 chips and salsa would not be a takeout disaster but alas...this Chipotle and then their online customer service proved me wrong. I placed my online order for chips and salsa for pick up around 45 mins later. When I arrive to pick up at the shelf there's no order for me--okay I'm right on time so maybe they just did not get it together yet right? WRONG! I stepped into line and waited for the customer ahead of me to make their order and when asked what I ordered I let the woman know that I was picking up but I did not see my order of 4 chips. She looks at me and says "oh...that's because we are out of chips" I'm giving her a blank at this point and she then looks at her co-worker next to her and asks "that's right? We're out of chips?" I stand there looking at my phone to see if there was some kind of notification (there was not) I ask "okay so the order will get refunded with...?" The first lady pipes up with "you will have to contact customer service to have them refund you." No biggie--I can do this except the entire attitude of these two was so nonchalant that the fact that a paying customer just drove to pick up an order that could not be fulfilled and no one thought there was a problem...or even that it warranted a simple "apology for the inconvenience" was irksome so I contacted customer service regarding this and my refund. Think everything went smoothly with that? NOPE! A little background involving me and anything to do with chips and salsa from Chipotle...this is not the first time that either they were completely out or did not bother giving me the chips I paid for as part of a bigger order. It is a running joke between me and my friends on whether I will get chips or not because there nearly always seems to be an issue. I say it's a joke because I can just chalk it up to bad luck and timing or the fact that they are human and it's something easily resolved for the most part. Now moving into the customer service part of the story. Dear Mike was the fortunate gent to assist me and he was apologetic and quick to offer up 4 free chips and guacamole along with my refund. This is good yes? Well sure if you like guac which I do not, so I ask the question of can it be salsa instead? It's not like I am asking for a lot right? Well, little did I know that by asking that simple question the result would be a full stop on the 4 free chips and guacamole. Of course, I did not realize this until today when I checked my original email from Mike where he said the chips had been placed in my Rewards. So I look and hmmm...nothing there other than 100 points (yep...not even a plain chip order amount). So I emailed Mike again and asked if I was looking in the wrong place. He then proceeded to inform me that he CANCELLED the chips and guacamole when I said I did not eat guacamole. No confirmation with me or anything--just an immediate cancellation without notice. So I pointed out to him I still would have eaten the chips (I am relatively easy...I can eat chips without salsa or anything else (except guac)for that matter) and asked if it could be added back on. He responds with sorry once the order is refunded we cannot do anything. So in conclusion--there is a clearly Chipotle conspiracy preventing me from having an issue-free order with chips and salsa because not only can I not get it from my local store as part of an order...I also cannot get it when it's meant to be a replacement for Chipotle not having the courtesy to let their customer know that the order was cancelled. read more

My expectations of what a meal at Chipotle would be is realistic...quick, fresh, and tasty...a "better than most" fast food option. My burrito bowl from this particular Chipotle however was unacceptable especially at a $20 price tag. The base of the burrito was a leveled off spoon of rice, topped with a small handful of beans and about 10 kernels of corn. I found 3 pieces of peppers and 2 slivers of onion. It was possible that there was a smear of sour cream but it was hard to tell. And then there was the meat ...a sinwey chunk of pork, I was able to barely scrape off a few edible pieces. The only generous element of this bowl was the lettuce that covered the top. I typically only review restaurants where I've had a positive experience but this meal has left me hungry and livid...do better Chipotle, you can afford to with the extra you charge for guac. read more

So we ordered through the app and picked up 2 burritos and a bowl. We payed extra money for double wrap on the burritos and queso on all of them. When we got home we went to eat it and the whole order was messed up and all the stuff we payed extra money for was not there, and everything was barely filled and tiny. Kinda messed up when you pay extra money for stuff you don't even receive, especially when it's expensive. I love chipotle. But this location is the absolute worst with pick up and delivery orders. I have ordered chips and queso at least five times without ever getting my chips and queso. Happened yet again tonight. But for two people. Ordered two sides of chips and queso and got neither. And this time, the burritos were poorly folded and wrapped. I can't even pick this up to eat it, and there's not even enough foil to cover it while attempting to eat it. I don't know why I keep trying to get food from this location. Chipotle is chipotle-- the food is tasty. My issue is with this specific store. I placed two orders through Uber eats. Both orders included guacamole (which everyone knows costs a few dollars extra). Neither order included guacamole even though it appeared on both receipts. First time, I figured it was an oversight. But twice is either negligence or someone over there is skimming at my expense. I hope it's not the latter. I'm not pressed about losing out on the money. It's the principle. Tonight's order took a while to come to the house (I ordered an hour before closing with an ETA of 930). As 9:50 approached, I tried to call the store to make sure they got the order. (I tried to cancel the order, but Uber wanted to charge me for the full order.) No one answered after several rings. I'm not sure if they're short staffed, or what. If that's the case, I think management should get their team more help. If they're fully staffed, mgt should look into what's going on. read more

To quote my man, "we should be afraid about the longterm health effects of our visit to Chipotle today." We ask as concerned citizens (not from Newington): 1. Will our or employees' lungs ever recover from smoke inhalation? 2. At what point does smoke exposure limit a man's ability to see the salsa station? 3. Why are we selling cups without a properly functioning drink system? 4. Why does no one know what a tomatillo is? 5. Is it really okay to think "green" is an appropriate classification for sauces at a "Mexican" establishment when the world is full of many green sauces and "verde" would be a more appropriate choice? 6. What makes your tomatillo sauce more or less green than other green sauces like chimichurri, pesto, guacamole, zhoug, chutney, chili herb dipping sauce (Thailand), gremolata, or *green* goddess dressing? 7. Why are we doling out the red sauce with a soup ladle? 8. When a customer asks for a little is it corporate policy for employees to give a lot? I pose these questions to get answers as to why our intestines feel like melted garden hoses and our throats feel like slides left to rot at a water park in the off-season.
