While the prices have been steadily increasing, the quality has been declining. I had sticker shock on my most recent visit to this Chipotle location. Worst experience ever. Ordered through a 3rd party for delivery. Wrong food was delivered, Chipotle's issue. The ticket on the bag had the correct order. The food in the bag was wrong, not packed correctly. Called them to try and resolve the issue. Only had some terrible automated system. Could not get through to a person. Automated voice stated to deal with the delivery service, however, it was not their issue. No wonder it's call Crapotle. I'll never eat there again as there are much better choices. I always have a good experience grabbing something to go from this location. The line is never too long, the food is fresh and warm. Today I got a carnitas burrito bowl with a drizzle of queso and lots of lettuce. It's delicious as usual. I got two tacos soft shell with carne asada and all my favorite fixings. Those were darn good tacos! Service was good , we were in and back out in just a few minutes. Restaurant was clean inside and all was in order. Despite a frustrated customer behind us who was giving us a death stare for being slow on our decisions we will be back to annoy more millennials. read more

As a regular client today I had one of the most unprofessional and disappointing experiences at Chipotle Mission Viejo. I was "helped" by Cessa, who was extremely rude, bitchy and disrespectful throughout my visit. Her attitude was completely uncalled for, and instead of offering customer service, she acted in a way that made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. What makes this worse is that Vanessa, the manager, witnessed everything and chose to do absolutely nothing. A manager is supposed to step in, resolve issues, and uphold company standards, but she just stood by and allowed the behavior to continue. If this is how Chipotle Mission Viejo trains and supervises its staff, then they clearly do not care about customer service or basic respect. I will never return to this location, and I strongly recommend others avoid it if they value being treated decently. read more

I've taken food to go from this location a few times. Tonight, I got food poisoning from the food here. It was coming out from both ends. My stomach has never felt worse in my life. Thinking back to when I ordered, there was food that looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. I've been to this location a few times now and it just for some reason never has hot food. It is always lukewarm or cold. I got queso that was thick and not very cheesy. Even after reheating it the queso was not very good. The customer service is decent. I liked this Chipotle overall....they nailed our order accurately and efficiently in just 10 minutes for 5 people. The staff was friendly, the Store was clean and spacious and I never felt rushed as I was working my way through somewhat complex orders. I had a barbacoa bowl and they gave me a significant amount of meat and it was all delicious. I was initially hoping for brisket but upon learning they didn't have that,I was left disappointed. Additionally they scraped the bottom of the tin for rice, instead of getting a new batch of cilantro rice. The bottom of the tin is the stalest and coldest part and I was disappointed they didn't just go back into the kitchen instead of scraping the bottom of the tin. I would recommend this place for people in a hurry and looking for a filling meal and who do not prioritize how fresh the meal is. The staff is friendly and are probably trained to empty out every tin before getting a new one so I don't begrudge them for doing their jobs. read more

I visited this location several times over the past couple weeks and experienced the following: tables not wiped down, trash bins overflowing, forks and napkins not restocked, and the steak bowl had 6-7 pieces that I had to spit out due to fat and grizzle. I was at this location today around 5:45 p.m. There were two people in front of me, five employees and a couple with two children eating in the dining room. I ordered the steak tacos (hardly any meat). For the price I was about to pay it was not worth it. I got my food and went to look for a table. There were many tables to choose from but they were all dirty. I took napkins and cleaned the one I chose. I ate my food and when I went to the trash can, it was overflowing. I looked at the floor and it was filthy. It needed sweeping. I will not return to this location. I was very disappointed with the two bowls that I ordered at the Mission Viejo Chipotle on Marguerite Pkwy On 6-10-2025 at around 5:30 PM. The person serving me put so little of each ingredient that it didn't even reach the top edge of the bottom bowl. A small portion of rice didn't even cover the bottom of each bowl. I asked for more and they add just a tiny bit. The person did not know what Sofritas was so they needed to ask another worker. the amount of each ingredient added to the bowl was about half what I get at other Chipotles. They take the smallest spoon possible (less than half) and then say "We have to charge you extra for more protein. The amount of chicken I was given did not even fill a side of a kids meal box. It was literally half full! I even mentioned it to my server and his manager approved his minimal portioning. I live in mission viejo but will be driving to Laguna Niguel instead for better service. My daughter has serious dietary issues so she always orders a plain burrito with rice and beans Nothing more For years...
