Mixed thoughts on this place. The food was hit or miss, but the vibe in the restaurant was lacking. Service was slow, inattentive and not very friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast burger with tator tots. The wings? Not so much. They all had awkward, chunky sticks of wood in them, making them awkward to eat. I never understood why vegan places try to mimic that, I'd rather just have boneless "wings." Here, I felt like half of each wing was just wood. I had no idea they had an app. It turns out that the food is much cheaper to order in the app. Usually Google shows business preferred methods to order, but they didn't here. I thought my order was pricey, only to find out the prices in house and in app are MUCH cheaper. There was a huge fan blowing across the place, probably because there's no A/C? I definitely wouldn't want to spend much time here in the summer. A few of us ordered ahead and had to wait a while in the muggy lobby. First time trying Nice Burger. Absolutely fell in love with this place. Got the banana chocolate shake was so delicious and creamy. Very banana forward which I loved. Also got the bbq bacon ranch burger. The BBQ sauce was so flavorful had a hint of sweetness. The burger it self was juicy. My highlight was the chili cheese fries. Some of the BEST tasting chili fries I've ever had. The fries itself were so crispy, the chili had so much flavor and the cheese was amazing. The staff was very friendly and kind. This is one of my favorite vegan burger shops. I have tried the Nice Burger, Nice Bacon Burger, BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, the fries and tater tots. Oh yummm!! So delicious! Even my non- vegan kids and boyfriend love coming here. The restaurant is very small, but they do have a couple a tables and bar stools for sitting. You can order online thru their app, or at the restaurant. They have a kiosk to order, but if a staff member is around they are happy to take your order. Very friendly service. My go to vegan burger place. I usually get the Mexicali but everything in the menu I've tried I like. My husband isn't plant based and enjoys coming here too. It's rare to find non dairy milkshakes so it's nice they have several options on the menu. The staff is always friendly with the food being consistently made to satisfaction. Menu has mostly burgers, sprinkled with chicken sandwiches, tenders, burritos, milkshakes, tater tots, and fries (regular or sweet potato). Awesome idea to have seasonal items; for example pumpkin spice shake. Unfortunately, if you order online, some specialty items or customized orders will not be available. Due keep in mind that the prices far exceed other fast food joints. Taste is much better and expect to get full. It takes time to cook your order. Sit down area is nice but you'd think with all the staff, they'd have someone assigned to bus the tables especially after 20 minutes. Try the fish burrito and BBQ bacon cheeseburger. I absolutely love coming here, and whenever I'm in socal/orange county, I go out of my way to come here. The burgers are such good classic takes, and the fact that they are vegan, just makes it all the better. I love when places really do a good job making vegan meat so similar to meat-based burgers. I'm not vegan, but most of my friends are vegetarian, so it's a great spot to go altogether. The people working there are usually really kind and are so open to small accommodations! read more

My second order from this place within a month. I ordered a Nice Burger w/ Cheese, Tomato, Lettuce and Raw Onions. The onions had a weird taste not that crispy fresh taste so I removed them from the burger, upon doing that I noticed the onions looked like they were cut days prior to today, they had a dry ashy look to them not only that the burger was not fully cooked. Crispy onion rings added a nice crunch to the sandwich and the amount of bbq sauce was just right. Of course the spicy chicken sandwich was good as always. But the bbq bacon burger ... I have a new favorite! There's a couple tables inside and outside. The employees were friendly providing recommendations and offering to cut our burgers in half since we planned to share. Mr. M is an omnivore and raves about how their burgers really do taste like a meat hamburger You may wanna try Nice Burgers if you usually have a meat burger. Maybe give it a chance? It would be nice to have a place like this in MV succeed. Two things I would like to bring up. When I got home, my mushroom bacon Nice burger mistakenly had ketchup on it. Usually we meet excellent staff at the register. This last time, staff really seemed immature and did not know a lot of the menu. My wife and I had been wanting to try this place for awhile, and today we decided to go for it. We're not vegan or vegetarian, but we do enjoy that more than standard meat. We also cook Beyond Burgers at home pretty regularly. We went in today, a Saturday, around 4pm. They weren't busy, which worked for us. Everyone must've been out grilling, drinking and regretting for Memorial Day weekend. We had the whole place to ourselves. Staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. We appreciated that right out of the gate. The food was excellent! I had the Cali Burger while my wife went for the Nice Burger on a gluten free bun. We also shared tater tots. The ingredients were fresh and tasted amazing! Beyond Burgers never disappoint, and they sure didn't here either. My wife's gluten free bun was surprising soft, and I say that only because most places have horrible gluten free bread. I will say the only downside to my burger was the bacon. It was a little thin and I really couldn't taste it. It did add some crunch, but that was about it. It didn't take anything away, but I probably won't go for that again. The tater tots were really good! They cook everything in rice bran oil, which made the tots crispy and not filled with pockets of oil. When we were done eating everything, there wasn't a speck of grease or oil anywhere. Imagine your favorite dirty diner that's been in the same location since they 1950's. The menu has never changed, because it doesn't need to. This is that place, except you don't feel like you ate a tub of butter when you're done. If you're looking for great burgers and sides, without having to see your cardiologist immediately after, get over there now! Vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters, whatever eaters...just go, already! Support this place, because they do it right. It's not one of those places that flex their vegan muscles, over charge and then give you mediocre and lazy food. Their menu is small and it speaks for itself. Sure, it can be a little more pricey than the standard fast food place, but you're paying over $20 for a standard McDonald's meal anyway. Pay a little more now, and you'll save money by not having to pay a copay the next day at urgent care. read more

I really was pleasantly surprised with how delicious this little new spot is! I was sad when curry kitchen closed in this space but boy was I excited when I found a vegan spot would open in its place! The spicy chicken sandwich is my fave with the chipotle sauce for fries. It tastes like a legit spicy chicken sandwich, and it's so so packed with flavor. My kids didn't even realize these were vegan burgers, but beware if your kids have sissy taste buds, the secret sauce will probably be too spicy (aka flavorful) for them. My husband got the double dude burger or something like that and he loved it. Would go back again for sure. Tots with chipotle sauce are chefs kiss. I hope this place stays in business, you have to pay in advance online to order if you don't order in person, as they've had orders placed with no-show customers, leaving them hurt financially. Support our local small businesses, this one is super duper delicious! Service is quick and friendly!
